We booked our new puppy with PnF in Anthem because they had done great with our previous pet. We were told the first time would be a "puppy visit" so she could get used to the sounds and process etc. They gave charged us $5 less than a full groom and only trimmed around her face an privates. 3 weeks late we took her in for a full groom. Her hair is so long and it is so HOT outside. We just picked her up and they only did a "puppy visit" AGAIN, and charged us FULL PRICE! When we questioned the cost, they said we booked a groom so they have to charge us for a groom. They chose to do less, but still charged us full price. We will be finding a new groomer! What a rip-off! read more

$80 (including tip) for my Cocker Spaniel to be bathed and brushed. The shampoo use was very pungent and my boy had several knots in his coat. People there were nice but the quality of the service is severely lacking. Do not recommend. read more

As P & F formed, I temporarily moved to Tempe, where I can recommend Sally's off Guadalupe Ave. Victoria has been caring for my Bichon for years however. he's a little temperamental, at times, and anxious, but her patience, kindness, gentle touch and excellent results makes me (and him) happy. I was a Das Pooch customer for three years, so when sold I thought I would try P&F. I requested a groom like always over the phone, and wrote me down for only a wash, and insisted they do a full groom. I said please thin out the undercoat and had no idea what I was talking about. Very disappointed with the groomer, the staff, and the general look and feel. My Golden Retriever received a very poor, and uneven groom like the guy had no idea how to groom a Golden. I won't be back even though the location is very convenient. The owner of P&F, needs to pay attention to who she hires and a must with groomers with experience as this was a very unsatisfactory experience for me and I won't be back! read more

I haven't necessarily had personal issues with the grooming of my dog, although they never seem to be able to clip or grind his nails despite other groomers not having an issues. My dog only requires a simple bath and maybe deshedder and so far I haven't had any specific complaints that pertain to his grooming (outside the nail clipping). My issue is that they seem to not have enough staff to handle customers coming in. The last time I came to drop my dog off for an approved appointment, I had to wait for someone to check him in. There appeared to only be one person working and that person was already in the middle of grooming a smaller dog on a table. The groomer stepped away from the dog at the table to check my dog in and put him in the back. I get the dog had the collar attached to the table and another on the hind quarters, but I know that is not safe nor industry standard to walk away from a dog on a table. It only takes a minute for the dog to jump off and strangle themselves. How do I know? Because I used to work for a major pet retailer with grooming services in their corp store ops and I was part of several conversations around pet safety and policies around grooming safety specifically. I also know that they were sued for injuries to pets when groomer left dogs on tables unattended. Part of me wanted to walk out but I know my dog is too big for a table, but after that appointment I can't in good conscious continue to go back to a groomer who doesn't take pet safety seriously. They seriously need to retrain their staff or perhaps employ some basic safety procedures and hire more or do not accept appointments if there isn't enough staff. But having lax safety standards is really a disaster waiting to happen. read more

I have been coming to this location (formerly Das Pooches) for quite some time now. I always make my appointments 6 weeks in advance. I always tip the groomers. I brought in my 2 Westies - on time at 10:00am. It is usually a 3 to 4 hour appointment and I am called when they are ready. At 2:10pm I called to check on how they were doing and was told that they weren't done yet. At 3:00pm, since my dogs had been there for 5 hours, I decided to drive down to and see for myself what was happening and why it was taking so long. Something didn't seem right. When I arrived, all the other dogs from the day were finished. My male was on the grooming table being trimmed and our female was still in a metal holding cage, still waiting her turn. I brought them on time at 10am and they held both dogs for 5 hours in a metal cage, without food or water, until all the other dogs were finished. At that point my concern was for the well being of my dogs, more than the grooming and I took them unfinished, paying for the services they had received. No warning when dropping them off. No phone calls over the 5 hours. No food or water for my dogs. No reasonable explanations. Just held in a metal cage for 5+ hours after arriving for a 10:00am appointment. Maybe it was just the worst possible day, but still - I can't in good conscience leave my dogs in a place like this any more. read more

I used Das Pooch for the last seven years. I assumed Puff and Fluff would give the same quality service as Das Pooch. They texted me four different texts changing my appointment, they also left one message on my phone, and another on my husbands. I am not giving them my business. They are disorganized and do not accommodate long term clients. I don't recommend them. read more

We e been taking our two Scotties there for quite some time. Always receive excellent grooming. And the groomer treats them so well.

I have 3 small dogs, 1 Maltese and 2 yorkies. We usually go to Cageless Grooming on Carefree Highway, which I HIGHLY recommend. However, the waiting list was filled up to 2-3 months in advance and we needed it done sooner. So, we googled other groomers and decided on "Puff and Fluff" in Anthem, AZ. We called and made appointments for the upcoming week. They said it would cost $50-$60 per dog, which is normal for us. We dropped them off and told them to go as short as possible with all of their hair, like buzzcuts. 4 hours passed by with no word from them, so I called and asked how they were doing because it usually takes about an hour and a half to do all 3 dogs. The girl on the phone said "Oh yes, it looks like they all are ready to be picked up". We thought to ourselves "well how long have they been ready without them calling to let us know? How long would they had been there if we didn't call?" (1st red flag). We get there and my 2 yorkies are together in one cage, with my Maltese (who suffers from separation anxiety when he's not with his brother and sister) all alone in a different one, violently shaking in the corner. She rang us up and the total came to $220, asking for a tip to be added. My mom who was with me said "no way. I was told $50-$60 for each dog. Which is about $150, not $220." It took 30 minutes in there, with our dogs freaking out because they saw us and obviously wanted out of their non-padded, with no water, food, blankets, or toys in the cages. After the girl's many excuses and condescending remarks, she finally lowered the price to $68 per dog, then had the audacity to ask AGAIN about the tip. At this point, there was a line behind us. We paid and they got the dogs, letting them out on the lobby floor WITHOUT THEIR COLLERS. Obviously my friendly, loose yorkie ran up to a huge dog in line, who almost bit my dogs head off. Luckily I grabbed him in time. This got me heated to say the least. I said " where the hell are their harnesses and why are they not in them?!". The girl goes to this hook on the wall with about 10-15 other collers on it and asked which ones were ours, just handing them to me. We took them in disbelief and just walked out, me holding a squirmy, excited, almost 20 pound Maltese and an 8-10 pound yorkie and my mom with the other yorkie, scrambling for the car keys. AWFUL customer service. When we got home and checked out their haircuts, we noticed that one was soaking wet in his own pee, all of them still had at least an inch of hair, with random longer bits sticking out that they had missed, no cleaning of the mouth, nails just as long as they were before and VERY VERY THIRSTY PUPS. Very disappointing. Needless to say, no tip was left nor deserved. Side note: My OCD and I had a HUGE problem with the way they had every dog's coller touching and tangled on 1 hook. My dog is extremely susceptible to Heath issues and sicknesses. I don't like how they were touching, possibly spreading illnesses or even fleas amongst all the harnesses and collers. Very unsanitary in my opinion. read more

I don't think groomers get enough credit as to the work and time it takes to groom. I understand it's expensive but how about just appreciating the work done instead of complaining. Why don't you try and groom 8 to 10 a day we'll see how you feel. It's a lot and I appreciate my Groomer Victoria she is fantastic and I've never had a problem with customer service. Previously Das Pooch and bought out in June of 2022. Awful customer service now. They rarely answer the phone. My neighbor was quoted $50 and the price ended up $75. Never had this issue with Das Pooch. Makes you wonder how they are going to stay in business? read more

They were able to get my Competitive Dock Diving Dog Spritz right in. He needed a Bath, Pedi and the furminator treatment before a Competition. They did a great job and were eager to see some of Spritz's Dock Diving videos and pics. Would recommend. read more

We have been coming here since we moved to Anthem almost 2 years ago - with 1 exception. I made an appointment 6 weeks in advance for my 2 Westies to be groomed. Usually a 3 1/2 - 4 hour appointment. I dropped them off at 10:00 and at 2:00 I called to see if they were done and was told they would be ready by 3:30.....5 1/2 hours is just too long for them to be in a kennel/grooming appointment ....I came at 3:00 to see why it is taking so long and it was explained to me that the other groomer did not show - I understand 1 groomer cannot possibly keep up with all those appointments- but why are mine put to the end of the line? I made my appointment weeks ago. I was on time - out of courtesy, I should have been called to see if my day allowed for them to stay close to 6 hours. I ended up waiting an additional 30 min before the were done. The operating hours are 8-4 and mine were the last dogs done. I will not be back. read more

I started going to this location when it was Das Pooch Grooming. It was purchased by Puff n Fluff in April. Prices went up and front desk staff changed but my groomer Tori stayed, so I stayed. All the staff knows Tori is my gal! It even says "only Tori" on my dog's grooming instructions. When I picked up Winnie and Jojo today both dog's couldn't get out of there fast enough which was unusual. As I was paying I was told Tori is no longer with Puff & Fluff so they were put with Heather. When I got home and took a good look at the dogs I noticed how uneven the cuts were. Both were super choppy. Not at all how Tori would cut them. Winston used to come out looking like a stuffed toy! I called and told them it was not what I expected and they did say that I could bring them back in but Winston is already much shorter than usual and Im afraid he will come back completely shaved if Heather tries to even him out. Super disappointed I was not told before the groom that Tori was no longer there. Luckily Winston's hair grows fast but I will not be going back for another $82 butchered groom next month! read more
