Thought this place would be better based on the reviews. Honestly, what got me more than the food being not so great, was that I noticed the cashier was sneezing into their hands as well as being the same person to deliver the food to the tables. All while not sanitizing or washing hands after sneezing. Just an observation. Carne asada plate was also over cooked. Just overall not the best experience for being pricey. They prey on tourists. Pricing is not transparent so be sure to ask for an itemized receipt. The price we were charged was more than the advertised price... when questioned over the discrepancy, the cashier noted they had not updated the digital menu to reflect the current pricing. The manager/ cook noted the discrepancy was for using a credit card to pay for our meals... the only issue with this is that they did not disclose the fee. Absolutely delicious! This is a must stop if you want excellent Mexican food. We ordered the Carne Ranchera which had excellent flavor. The rice and bean were delicious and not too salty. The Carne Asada was lean and delicious even on its own. Make sure to ask for their hot salsa (for some it might be too hot) it adds so much flavor to the meals. We ordered the Cabernet which really paired well with the food. We had not tried this winery before but it was served chilled and worked well with the spice. I also want to say the service was excellent. You order at a counter and then the food is brought to you. You are greeted with large smiles and they are so happy to help!
