This was on the Michelin recommended guide, and they were not wrong!! This meal was delicious. Located in India town, this cozy restaurant had a quaint Mexican restaurant vibe - something you'd never expect! I ordered the Toradito de Scallops and it was fantastic...I highly recommend getting this. I also got the fish tacos which were good too. I loved how they included chips with their dip! It was a bit spicy but had a real kick to it. Overall, a great restaurant with good service. A hidden gem in Toronto!

Really like the freshness of the food here! Small spot but got a seat pretty easily! Service was prompt and attentive.

Food was the best. Their scallop dish made my jaw drop. One of the most underrated and delicious restaurants I had during my time in Toronto!!

Note: This review is for delivery, so likely wasn't as good as dining-in. Thought Puerto Bravo was pretty good though not special. Got three things: dorados de pescado, pulpo al carbon, and street corn. The pulpo was exquisite - tender and tasty. The dorados de pescado was on the blander side - would've wanted more flavour without having to resort to the dipping sauce. And the streetcorn was pretty good - lots of cheese which I appreciated. Overall pretty good. Given the praise I hear about this place, suggest dining-in versus delivery.

I've been here so much, it's considered the best Greek food in Toronto. Maybe even Canada…read more I think the quality is always consistent. There's definitely some competition in York Region, but this place will always be special! Great food, great service and awesome atmosphere.

We decided to come here for my partner's bday celebration as this place has a long history and has…read morebeen a stable in this community area in the Danforth for quite a while, so we were excited to taste some authentic Greek. We booked our reservation through their online phone system which was kind of unique as it takes down her info and number and time we wish to reserve for.... Our whole group arrived promptly for dinner on the weekday and was greeted at the front who appeared to be the owner with glasses. We told him our reservation name and time and info, and he checked but for some reason couldn't locate our info, but eventually found it... We were seated and because it was 7pm, it was busy... We sat there waiting for someone to greet us or to receive menus... Nothing for over 10+ minutes. We've seen new people come in and they got menu, water and bread pretty fast.. We were starting to wonder is it because we're not Greek or something to not get any attention... Then, our server informed us that he'll be with us but he was quite busy, so we understood... Poor guy didn't have the support staff to help him accordingly... Eventually, we got some water, we got menu's and we got some bread, so we ordered the following... Fried Calamari- $26+ - They have grilled or fried option, and really, can't go wrong with either one, but we got the fried version and it tasted quite good and fresh... It came with a small little cup sauce of tsitsiki. Cheese Saganaki- $19+ - An older gentlemen would come out with this hot pan with cheese and he'll pour some liquid on it which will make it flambee, so that is interesting but also a bit of a fire hazard if it catches someone nearby... - The cheese can be said to be salty, a bit sour, and would be fitting to enjoy on some bread that you're given with some butter... Eating on its own is okay. For mains, my bro got the meat entrees which consists of lamb chops, grilled chicken kabob, and sausage for $33+ and it comes with side greek salad and steamed veggies and roast potatoes. My partner got the pan fried cod fish with cold potato mash.. I believe its $30+... The fried cod fish tasted like salted fish in a sense, but a bit dry for our liking... Not sure it paired well with cold potato mash though. Lastly, we got the grilled octopus tentacles with side greek salad, and roast potatoes and steam veggies for $36+. - My bro gf and I both got the same dish, and when we ate the grilled octopus, it didn't taste fresh and the texture was not good. We didn't really mentioned anything until the end because our server was quite busy... They mentioned their seafood is fresh every two days or so, but we can tell the difference between the calamari freshness versus the octopus... We didn't want anything, but thought to share this concern as they admitted there was another table that expressed this as well... We didn't want anything out of it, but just sharing our experience really... As a proactive owner, they should realize this and know the correct resolution to ensure customer satisfaction, but basically disappeared. One thing to note, we gave the front desk owner our bday cake, which we'd assume they'd put it in a fridge to keep it cool or something, but they didn't, so when we got our cake at the end, it melted and was quite a disappointment... It appears this owner not only lack the basic services to customers and attention, but doesn't realize birthday cakes should be in the fridge to keep the consistency to enjoy after... For spending close to $300, you'd think this staple establishment would be a wow factor for services, food and quality... We can say, the only real effort came from our server trying to salvage the night and all, but still the lack of care from the owner really show this isn't the place to be and to consider elsewhere. Overall, the highlight was the calamari, greek salad... Everything else wasn't really much to brag about or stood out.

As a guest at a family celebration, I didn't catch the exact price of our menu, but judging from similar ones online, I'd estimate it around $798. Before committing to a $1,000+ spread, it's worth visiting to explore the more accessible offerings. The roasted suckling pig with jellyfish is a dish of contrasts: warm, rich pork paired with cool, crunchy jellyfish. It may have been my portion, but the pork leaned slightly fatty. Still, it was moist with a delicate, crispy skin. Instead of the usual deep-fried crab claw, Queen's serves a scallop with shrimp paste. It's easier to eat with a knife and fork, and while the sauce softens the crisp exterior, it adds a savoury depth without overwhelming the seafood. The crispy salted egg yolk prawns were impressively large and well cooked. I don't usually gravitate towards salted egg yolk, finding it heavy, but here it added a pleasant richness. Since the coating sits on the shell, it's easy to control how much you get. I also appreciated the inclusion of vegetables throughout the meal. The scallops came with gai lan, while the prawns were paired with broccoli, helping balance out the richness. Swapping out the usual shark fin soup, the bird's nest soup with minced chicken and egg white was a welcomed change. The broth was thick and silky, but the minced chicken added some much-needed texture. This is a long review for the rest go to Gastro World.
