Lots of parking in front of the strip mall where this located. Friendly employees. It could use a good cleaning. Food was good. Reasonable prices.

If you want to find some of the BEST coffee in NOLA, look no further than Puccino's! Their Italian coffee is superb and you can even go with the frozen granita (which is what my girls love) or go with a caramel Frappuccino...you won't go away unhappy for sure!

We went here for breakfast. I'm not a coffee drinker. I know, right!! Anyway, the breakfast menu is pretty basic. My hubby got a waffle which came with your choice of side. He chose sausage. It was just mediocre. I had the salmon bagel with cream cheese, onions and capers. It was good. I feel like they can do way more with the menu. Shake it up a bit and offer more fun and appealing breakfast items. The baristas weren't overly friendly. They basically did what they needed to do. The decor is pretty fun. It was just a lack luster experience for me overall.

Puccino's is a coffee shop in serious need of focus. Behind the bar is a large menu featuring what I'd guess are the most popular items: iced coffee, iced lattes, granitas, frappes, and drip coffee. If you'd like something else, direct your attention to... anywhere else on the walls in the rest of the shop. There's a separate sign for mochas, a separate sign for chai, one for juice, one for lemonade, one for wine, a sign for breakfast sandwiches, a sign for frittatas; the list goes on. A shelf under the counter features bottled water, cotton candy, bubblegum, cookies, chips, and chocolates. Displays on either side of the register hold coffee beans, tea bags, breads, danish, muffins, oatmeal, protein bars, scones, and brownies. I counted four drink coolers. Oh, and there's video poker in the back. It's a good thing they sell coffee here, because this shop is exhausting. The service was decent. Both ladies behind the counter had heavy Italian accents, so I'd assume they're in some way part of the Puccino family. The ladies were curt in their exchanges, but efficient. The woman at the register tried to upsell me with some breakfast, and looked puzzled when I asked her if any of the food here was gluten free. That was all the answer I needed. With the myriad of snack options, I was pretty bummed that nothing here is safe for GF folks like me. I'd be happy with a KIND Bar or a packet of nuts, if I can't get a gluten free muffin. No such luck. My white mocha was fine. A bit too sweet, even by mocha standards. I parked myself in a booth and connected to the wifi -- which is free now, btw -- and caught up on my Yelp reviews. I wasn't bothered at all or given dirty looks for sitting on my phone for over an hour. If you're in need of a caffeine boost and you don't require a relaxing environment, Puccino's will work for you. I'd still rather support a place like this over the national chains, but I'd still take a chill, hipstery place over Puccino's in a heartbeat.

I've been to Puccino's 3x in 3 days, visiting both of their locations. I can't help it, but i'm addicted to the frozen puccino's. Their regular lattes are also good and I did not have to add any sugar, and the lemon cake I had was large, only $4, and was delicious and not stale. I look forward to trying their breakfast items, and they have pretty awesome working hours. 5am to 12am? I'm in. Clearly Puccino's is a restaurant and not a typical coffee shop like Starbucks or French Press, so I find many of the bad reviews to be unfounded, especially when the major complaints are based on no free wifi and not being able to sit for hours studying at tables without purchasing food, when other patrons are clearly looking for somewhere to sit so that they can eat.

Cute little coffee breakfast spot. Feels mom and pop even though I think it's a chain.

For all the people complaining about the service it might be time to lower your expectations. You walk up to the counter and order. They make your coffee immediately, and when your food is ready they call your number. You're not waited on so I'm not sure what all these people are crying about regarding service? The staff was fine and efficient. My egg croissant sandwich with turkey was bomb and I would definitely come back here for that. The place itself is clean and pretty and they have free wifi with no one stressing you to give up your table. They also have cute booths that are raised one step. I love booths and this place is cool. I'm visiting from LA and have one more day. I plan on coming back here in the morning because now I know it's a sure thing. That is all! :)

FAMOUS FROZEN PUCCINO: GET IT. Served with Italian espresso and ice cream, this coffee/dessert is to die for. I crave it all of the time! And for about $4, well worth the price! Iced latte: great flavor, more for those who prefer a semi-sweet/bitter coffee flavor Food: They offer breakfast, brunch and lunch options, along with cakes, wine, and sandwiches! Puccino's (2 locations in NOLA) is a cute dive-y coffee house perfect for studying or reading a newspaper/book. I love it here!

    Frozen goodness!!

Im pretty sure its actually purple food coloring and not actual ube, the only reason why I'm not placing a 1 star is because the first time I bought a cake from this place, it was actually good (some coffee cake). This bakery made decent cakes till I tried YOUR UBE CAKE. If you want to copy trends and mix asian culture into your goods, then DO IT PROPERLY, or at least research on how to make ube. Try making ube jam instead and place it in the cake, that would taste WAY better. Also the yellow icy part inside the cake would've been delightful if it was cheese and not some random yellow piss ice. Ube is commonly topped with cheese, this bakery really missed the opportunity to actually be culturally on point. So much for Ube getting mainstream if none of these businesses get it right anyway. They always mess up asian cuisines and culture by making their "own version". Dont disrespect our ube broski (I can feel/taste the ube on the paste but it just isnt enough, it needs more) (update, i take it back. Tried it in the morning where it wasn't as cold. It was actually soft and spongy, the ube taste was stronger and it was quite delectable. Keep up the good work, i see room for improvement though)

I picked: a large fluffy maple roll. The outside reminded me of a croissant in the best way with some mild maple sweetness and the inside was moist, pillowy, and rich. I heated it up in the oven next day which made it even better. A square coconut roll... crisp and flaky on the outside with the most delightful sweet coconut cream inside and flaked almonds on top. This was my favorite. Will get multiple next time. And a pair of taro rolls. These I was most excited for as I love taro, and they weren't bad at all, but were probably my least favorite of the 3, purely because they had an eggy aftertaste. They weren't overly sweet with a nice smooth taro filling. I also tried a taro milk tea with soy milk. These normally include lavender too, but I asked for mine without. The flavor was off the charts good. Strangely it was nothing like the usual taro drinks I've tried and I couldn't place what I was tasting, but it was rich and creamy and so satisfying. Only thing that bummed me out was that I ordered boba and there wasn't any. :(

Why doesn't every single coffee shop offer the tiny ice cubes? They keep your drink cold, while they don't take a ton of volume away from your coffee! I love the chicory flavor of this coffee! It's naturally nutty and a tiny bit chocolatey without any syrups. This area at Whole Foods has some yellow bar stools for seating options. I ordered Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with oat milk and I am not the biggest fan of it. There was a weird sour after taste to the coffee which I am unsure where it is coming from. I imagine if it was a little sweeter, it may have been more enjoyable. When I sat down to start on some work, I tried to connect to the cafe wifi, having seen the password posted on a sheet of paper near the counter. The wifi gave me and my friend a couple issues when trying to connect. After about 5-10 minutes of errors and no internet signals, we decided to use out hotspots. We were eventually able to use the wifi after maybe 30 minutes, so if you are able to find a connection, it is fine but if you are unable to, it can be frustrating.
