Some people love and swear by Publix bakery, I am about 75% there...I like their cakes, cookies and baked goods, but I think there are many other good options that are a good value as well. We stopped here to get a small cake and they had a good variety of options to choose from. The store looked like any other Publix I have been to, so I don't have any negative comments about it....Overall a pleasant shopping experience. read more

This is one of your smaller more boutique like Publix locations sans the pizazz. It is a convenient location if you're in the area. I like the multiple entrance / exit options to the parking lot. There are a few spots to eat as well as a Family Dollar, Sally Beauty, and very clean laundry mat which is great if you need a larger machine for comforters, etc. One can kill two birds with one stone. Finally, the staff were friendly and the manager Jay even assisted my daughter to her car being she had a cart full of groceries and a baby to tend to. Great customer service! read more

Somehow Yelp missed this place, so I added it. Personally, I'd like to miss it too. Only in Florida could state, county, and local government allow a monopoly on supermarkets to be Publix, Publix, and Publix for 20-40 miles. Knowing that they have this "Have it Our Way" stranglehold on the community makes these pleasant-looking, yet consumer-clipping places the ONLY GAME IN TOWN. Florida is a place full of retirees. I never thought that produce should have a walker, but, the buyer for all Publix stores seems to have a knack for finding geriatric greens that barely make it a few days past their pick up. Not true, when I lived in competitive spaces with Fresh Markets, or pricey Whole Foods, or Trader Joe's We can't get those here because of supermarket "Sixth Sense" planning. Like the movie, "Shhh.... I see POOR PEOPLE." Markets draw big circles around neighborhoods to see the income levels. Our area has a radical split. Wealthy around the coastline/intracoastal waterway. Very poor inland toward the freeways. Result? Not only no tony Trader Joe's or their poverty alter-ego, Aldi, but Publix gets away with this specifically because it took over failing markets and can threaten the City and County with closing more of them, which reduces overall services. So you choose this place, which is smaller than the nearby Southern Boulevard location, because it's geographically closer to you. The untold truth is that is populated more by people from upscale El Cyd who don't want to slog across the bridge to the "Palm Beach" Publix, and find the bodega-like atmosphere of the Southern Boulevard store less appealing. Personally, I usually shop at Southern Boulevard, but, if I'm coming from the North, I swing in here. Not only is their produce LOUSY, but the size of this place is just so poorly programmed. The meat selection always is out of this or that. It took weeks of pointing out that Publix stupid stocking system wouldn't order enough of the pint-size of their house milks, in any fat content, to keep them on the shelves. Even before COVID, they were frequently out of things, and, with COVID, there is little point in coming here, other than when you're in a big hurry, because the other store on Southern gets resupplied much better. Add to that the managers still have their staff wearing NO GLOVES at the checkout. It took weeks just to get facemasks on them. Aside from the danger to their staff, when the kid bagging my groceries fist-bumps some guy who walked in off of the street, and starts to bag my groceries again, YEAH, I have a problem with that. Normally about three stars, this pathetic Publix has some nice people working in it. Too bad that their corporate doesn't think that their health, or ours is a PUBLIX SERVICE. read more

One of the worst locations in WPB. Small store, we purchased moldy cheese and green (!) ham salad in the same night. The date on the ham said it was good for another 2.5 weeks- not sure about that... Manager "Ray Rodriguez" needs to pull it together - Publix in TN set a much higher standard. read more

Great, convenient location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Stock seems to be doing well even amid the Covid supply chain issues. Very rarely have I found that something I need is not available. Keep up the good work Publix team. read more

This is always the worst Publix to go to the checkout. The cashiers and the baggers are always on their cell phones. Always texting and not paying attention to you standing in line waiting to pay money for the product that pays their paycheck. If I manage this place I would not allow cell phones to be on a person. They go in the locker room until your break or your shift is over. Don't make me feel inconvenienced for standing in your line and you having to work for your paycheck. The best grocery manager! Always willing to help to the max. This store has a great staff. Not sure why the negative reviews. There's a difference between customer service and wanting to be served hand and feet. It's a grocery store, not a 5 star spa. Some just post negative cause they're angry at the world. read more

Not the largest Publix, but the staff is so friendly here I'm glad they put a location on Belvedere. Great customer service, and the coupons / deals always keep me coming back. Be sure to get the weekly coupon guide, it's worth it. Oh and the entrance is a little tight so no carts inside, they are to the right and left of doors and I stay to the left when I walk in as you have to turn left upon first going inside (a little counter intuitive, but the layout was already decided as this was a Winn Dixie before) read more

I ordered two things of fried chicken and when i ordered the chickens, they tasted super dry. They looked like they've been reheated multiple times. Also, one of them had strands of hair in it. i was DISGUSTED! never again will i go back there. read more

This is the worst Pubix. No customer service, always out of organic items. Needed help in the produce, young man was wearing his headphones listening to his device while working. Had to call out several times to get his attention. When I complained, they said it's allowed. read more
