I don't even understand how some places stay in business. Horrible service and not existent customer service. Emails, calls and social media don't seem to make a difference. I am absolutely shocked and disgusted by the incompetence and lack of care shown by the Walgreens pharmacy on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach. Yesterday I was released from Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center after undergoing major open-heart surgery for aortic valve replacement caused by bicuspid aortic valve stenosis. The hospital sent NINE critical prescriptions to this Walgreens location before my discharge so I could begin recovery safely at home. When I arrived almost 20 hours later to pick them up, I was informed only ONE prescription was ready. The other EIGHT had not been filled because they "had to order them." Nobody called me. Nobody warned me. Nobody attempted to transfer the prescriptions to another pharmacy. Nobody seemed to care that I had just come home from heart surgery and medically depended on these medications. After a major cardiac operation, medications are not optional. Delays can affect pain control, blood pressure, heart rhythm stability, inflammation, clot prevention, and overall recovery. The stress this caused me during the first full day home from open-heart surgery was unbelievable. What angers me most is the complete lack of urgency and compassion. A responsible pharmacy would have contacted me immediately, searched nearby locations, transferred prescriptions, or found some emergency solution for a recovering cardiac patient. Instead, I was left standing there being told eight medications were unavailable as if it were no big deal. This pharmacy showed absolutely no concern for patient care, communication, or basic professionalism. For anyone with serious medical needs, especially post-surgical patients, I strongly recommend thinking twice before trusting this Walgreens location with your health. read more

Saturday December 20, 2025 This is the season of good cheer but here at Walgreens PBL I experienced bah humbug & worse from the cashier. I got hit over the head with overt rudeness as this main cashier said I had too much stuff & that I had to move to the back cash register. I did so as her bad attitude could not rob me of my usual joie de vivre. Of course, like any shopper would, I immediately informed the manager, Manny, of this employees poor treatment & plenty of attitude. He owned it. Worst pharmacy I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I recently moved and switched to this pharmacy two months ago. They have given me nothing but issues since. They refused to fill my medication that I have been prescribed for over a decade. Their only explanation was "After clinical review and professional judgement, we have decided not to fill your prescription." The snarky pharmacy tech would not offer any further elaboration. I hate this pharmacy. EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE A NEW PRESCRIPTION THEY SAY THEY NEVER RECEIVED THE ORDER. Every single time. My dr can send it in twice and they still say they have not received it. I am 65 and have never experienced such a hard time getting scripts filled. Twice, I have had out patient surgery and could not get pain rx until the next day. Their app will say a prescription is ready, but I go there and it is not. I can go on and on. One time a young woman there in the pharmacy was actually nice. I needed my prescriptions transferred from here to a CVS because they didn't take my insurance here...it took them 5 days to transfer them over. I would constantly be going into the store and calling, each time either no answer or I'd get a rude answer. Overall, they are extremely rude here and the customer service sucks. The first time I came here, I waited 15 minutes to be helped as there were 3 people behind the desk and no one else in line. Each time someone would come up to me and say "someone will be right with you", but it still took 15-20 minutes for it to be a 2 minute transaction. There was only one car in the drive thru at this time, so I feel someone could've easily helped me, and nicely. I don't recommend this pharmacy. read more

On phones on hold for more than 1-1/2 hours then they hang up on you. It's unbelievable. I actually had a friend go to the store to have them put my script back in stock. So I could order it at another store. I had already called yesterday to have this done. And it was not done. !!!!! 2 days trying to get them to put my Perscription back into stock. I came Friday august 5th to get some Affrin because I am not feeling the best, I arrived at 11:55 PM (close was at midnight) Cutting it close for sure, but i knew what i needed and would have been out in less than 2 minutes, given they checked me out fast enough that is.... The Walgreeon at 2050 45 th street is horrible, Meaning the pharmacy you gonna be waiting in line for hours, Not minutes & If you call to speak with someone yes they will answer & Put you on hold for another 35 minutes or so, I am gonna be changing to another Walgreens they need to be on some kinda of timer to see how long they wait on their customers always have a line at least 7 cars regardless of the time of day & The walk in ain't no better. read more

This pharmacy is terrible. I've used it for 2 years and in the past 12 months they have not filled my prescription without issue a single time. Typically I'll call and they say it's out of stock and that they only get delivery's on Monday, until I keep asking a they special order for the next day. Today the app said it would be ready at 11am I called at 3 because it still wasn't and confirmed it would be ready by 5 because I needed to pick up on my way to something when I showed up at 5 the guy gave me attitude and told me he didn't know why they told me that and it would be 20 minutes. So I had to come back later than night and waste an hour of my life due to the complete incompetency of the pharmacy. I would give them a pass if it was once or twice but it's been 12 months in a row of failure to just fill a prescription without me having to call. Would recommend looking elsewhere read more

I have never encountered so many issues at a pharmacy until I went to this one. I was denied my medication, argued with about my prescription, and for some odd reason they accused my doctor of not being able to write scripts? The same exact script they filled the month prior from the same doctor. I have never screamed so much out of frustration as I just did in my car because of the workers at this location. All of the workers in the photo center (except for Deborah and the other older women) are so f***ing moronic and/or lazy that I want to be a manager there just to fire them. I have been trying to get my graduation announcements (drafts and completed card) since mid-June. IT IS NOW THE END OF AUGUST. The red tones/hues of the same exact photos on each card have been different almost every time. *I order the greeting cards as proofs/drafts before dropping $$ on a full set of the same size card to make sure everything is right.* By the time the color finally got straightened out, I had to leave for 2 weeks so there was no sense in placing an order I couldn't pick up. But once I returned, I immediately placed my order and it said it would be done in 4 days mid-afternoon. After 5 full days, 1 whole day after the estimated pickup date/time, I stupidly assumed that my completed order would be ready. **I normally always wait for the confirmation email or check for it prior to leaving, but since it'd been over 30 hours past estimated pickup time- I didn't think there'd be a reason for it to not be done. Well guess what? THEIR PHOTO PRINTING MACHINE BROKE!!! They had no one to come in and fix their machine for about two weeks. I was told to order it from a different location if I needed it done so badly. So I did, a full set of 40. And the quality of their machine was so horrendous that when I brought in my proof of the exact same photos, and compared them side by side, the worker was astonished and said that this location (the one I'm writing about now) must have the newer machine. She confirmed that every Walgreens will have a slightly different setting to their machines, especially if they have the newer model. Once this location finally fixed their printier (ended up getting a new one according to multiple workers), I had to go through the whole color process again. (I couldn't just get these done at a different location because the closest other location with a photo card printer is 6 miles away, and when I tried to do it there, their color settings turned my pictures green.) And once they finally, finally fixed whatever setting. It was time to pick up the final draft to just make sure everything was working as it should be. When I go to pick up my order, guess what? There are black ink blotches all over the card and completely ruin the pictures. After showing the problem to the younger girl working, she acts like she couldn't care less and says if I want it fixed, I will have to reorder it. So as I go on my phone to do exactly that, she says "it won't be ready until tomorrow though because the existing orders have to be done first." It wasn't even 4:30 at that point and they only had 3 orders to complete- I know because I was looking directly at the screen prior to her coming to the counter. I was going out of town for the weekend, so I wasn't able to get my redo card until several days later. Went to pick up my redo card and wouldn't you know it, black ink lines across the top of my cards and random ink dots covering photos. When I showed the lady the problem, she said it was probably just how the machine read my photos. *The photo has less than 15% of black in it, so the photos aren't the problem.* She offered to reprint it immediately to see if it would happen again. The new card came out with no ink stripes across the tops, but there were still some black ink dots in other new random spots now. I just accepted the L and told myself that it is just getting all of its quirks out. So I placed my final card order to be picked up tonight so that I could still see the final proof before the big order I intend to place tomorrow. The estimated pick up time was 10:08, when I got there at 10:38, I was told (by the younger girl) it couldn't be printed and I'd have to wait until tomorrow. When I asked why, I was told that they can't print photo cards during the evening. How f***ing hard is it to turn on the machine, and just press three buttons. I have seen it done enough times from waiting to be helped that I could do it myself. Just admit you're lazy/don't want to help, and gtfo. It's not that she doesn't know how to do it either, she is one of the workers trained to use the machine; which I know from coming in so much and being told which photo staff can and can't do what. Overall, this has been so frustrating because every time it seems to finally work out, something goes wrong. I have wasted so much money at this point because I didn't learn until this week that you don't have to pay for your photo order if you aren't 100% happy with it. Had I known- I wouldn't have bought the terribly red-toned, green-toned, ink stripped, or ink dotted cards. read more

I have a prescription that I have been filling for 17 years. I am housesitting In another city and this is the only pharmacy that is told me because I don't live in the city I cannot fill my prescription. In all of the 17 years that I have been on this medication, I have never been told that they won't fill it simply because of my place of residency (30 min north). The fact that a pharmacy would allow someone to go without their medication with a legitimate written RX is mine blowing. It took my shrink over a year to get me to finally convince me to try Adderall for my adhd that I've had since I was a kid. I don't like or trust pharmaceuticals so I usually refuse medications. Finally I submitted when things got really bad, and I agreed to try it for a week. So I got a prescription for just 30 days at a low dose. I went to pick it up and some blonde lady at the pharmacy gives me a dirty look and leaves for a bit. Comes back and says that they refuse to fill it, because my doctors visit was over zoom. I understand that some people abuse this drug, I watch the news too. But I'm not a college kid nor do I look like a drug addict, I'm a 41y/o professional. So to look at me like some junkie trying to score, just based solely off the type of medication is really insulting. Not to mention all the time they spent trying to get me to try this, just all seems like a waste. I transferred my prescription to Publix and it was fine. Btw it did help me and I glad I finally gave in. But to think, if it was up to them, I'd still be miserable. But on the assumptions and condescending looks and tone, 0 stars. read more

Walked in with a really bad cold to pick up medicine waited in a huge line finally reach the counter and the tech decided to walk away to bin medicine. Manager finally came to help I had to ask to be taken care of since the girl never came back to counter. Once he took my name he told me my meds were not filled! This Walgreens is honestly scary. I've had to alert the manager of people passed out in their cars with needles hanging out of their arms on two different occasions. My car has been hit and the driver sped away and the manager told me "the cameras outside don't really work they are just there to deter crime." Pack of liars. The pharmacy department told me I had to go to a pharmacy close to my doctor to get my script filled; company policy. I live in the villages around the corner, my doctor is in Jupiter. I've consulted a couple of pharmacists, even those at other Walgreens, there's no such policy. Pharmacists control our medication, much of which is necessary to live a 'normal' life. After the pharmacist REFUSING to talk to me about transferring my prescription she had questions for me, for which she would not allow me to answer. She ordered me to sit in a specific chair and wait and would not let me wait for her; I had to ask my prescription questions of someone who was not even a pharmacist!!! Then she proceeded to tell me why she couldn't contact another Walgreens store to transfer my prescription. After insisting repeatedly (after 30 minutes arguing with her about what she DECIDED she did not WANT to do) that she call them, she finally called them and transferred it without any issue.
