I called ahead and found that they…read morehad my dog's eye-drops in stock, "one bottle left"; my vet can no longer get this item, nor could CVS or Walgreens. But fast forward two hours when I walk in and I'm charged $75 for a drug that our vet had only been charging us $24 for, that is just a rip-off. I even did a little internet investigating to find the average price for this med falls between $18 and $30 per 10ML. Upon leaving Schaefer's, I called my vet on the ride home and spoke with them, they confirmed the $24 price-point. Bottom line, they knew I needed those drops (because I told them over the phone), they knew no one else in town had it (because I told them over the phone), they knew it was back-ordered and that no one else would be able to get it for me (because I told them... you seeing a pattern here???), so they charged me $75... avoid this place like the plague. Unbelievable...

I am writing this on behalf of my husband. He has been going to this pharmacy for a few years now…read more Over a month ago, he picked up his prescription, from his Dr, that had 5 refills on it as he sees his Dr every 6 months. My Community Pharmacy has been filling this script for a while. When he finished the first month of his 6 month supply, he went on the APP to have his script refilled....it then said processing. He went to the pharmacy to pick up the second month supply, 2 days later, and was told that there were no refills. He looked at his bottle, and sure enough, written on the bottle were "0" refills. He complained and was told..."Sorry, you have no refills". Did they not have the original script to refer back to? My husband had to take time to then call his Dr and go to their office to pick up a new script, for the same medication. The script once again said 5 refills after the script is filled. Today, we went to My Community Pharmacy, with the new script, and waited for it. We took the bag outside and before we drove away, my husband looked at the bottle..."0/Zero" refills!!!!! AGAIN...THE SAME MISTAKE. He went back in to how them of their mistake, for the second time. They looked at the bottle..."0 Refills" and looked at the script...."5 Refills" Not even an apology. This is very concerning....their pharmacist is not on the ball. If this can happen on something so simple, then mistakes can also be made with prescription strength, mislabeling or even the wrong medication all together. This is the only prescription he gets filled there as he likes this one particular generic brand, that our other pharmacy does not carry...otherwise, he would not go back. In the future, he will be making copies of the prescription and checking the bottle before he leaves the store....I suggest you do the same if you also go there. I hope the owner also reads this review and makes sure other more serious mistakes are not being made by those that work behind the counter.

She explained in detail when to take certain supplements and how to use them effectively. Without a doubt, Nutrition World has knowledgeable staff. The store maintains high standards for its products, including testing for contaminants. They also have a team of professionals, such as a clinical pharmacist, a physician assistant, and a registered dietitian, who are available to provide health guidance and consultations. When I first came in, one of the employees even asked me why more people don't do what I was doing--buying a lot during the 60% off first‑purchase promotion. Well, the answer is simple: because your store doesn't allow exchanges. If I'm taking advantage of a big discount, I should still have the basic reassurance that I can exchange something if it doesn't work out. Instead, you're stuck with whatever you buy, no exceptions. That policy alone is enough to keep me from returning, and it's probably why others hesitate too. This policy completely cancels out any goodwill created by the staff or the discount.
