This was my first time at this Publix and I was blown away by all of the options. They have a coffee area, wine and beer, pizza station, burrito station, sushi and poke bowl and even had a popcorn station. I will absolutely be coming back here to do my grocery shopping. The staff was super nice and explained all the different options and how the food options rotate as well. The coffee I got was really good and the spinach and cheese slice with the golden wings were Delicious! I can't wait to the the other food options in the near future! read more

This Publix is AMAZEBALLS! Literally loved this experience. They have a fresh popcorn area with different flavored popcorn. They have a wing station where you been choose a variety of wing flavors and it's relatively cheap. They do have other hot food stations and of course the sub station and hot chicken and potato wedges!! Super yummy and loved that they had outside or upstairs dining options. They even have an escalator for your cart should you want to dine upstairs. How cool. read more

This is a fantastic Publix! I feel like it was busier than most, but I can see why with having popcorn stations, coffee stations, pizza, stations, and more. We visited all the spots and everything looked delicious. We did get some popcorn and pizza. It's great. You can do your grocery shopping& if you're hungry, you can grab lunch. All the stations very clean and organized and the gentleman at the pizza station was very kind to help me with the box for the slice. read more

Finally the newest Publix location is open and it is very convenient. This location is within the Epperson Lagoon Community and across from Watergrass in Wesley Chapel. I am excited about the new coffee bar inside using local Kahwa coffee. There's now two coffee options in the community including the nearby Starbucks and this location with Kahwa coffee as well as the local coffee trucks Garda Cafe and Thr Bean Bar. There's also a Wine and Craft Beer bar with the coffee bar. I do wish they had a juice and acai bar like they do at the Green wise. They have a soup bar, salad bar, pizza and pasta, sushi, tacos, and chicken and popcorn bar. Those are definitely newer conveniences that will be awesome to have so close to home. Their bakery section seems smaller to me which is a bummer but that's ok. I think it's a bit odd that the seafood and the meat section is opposite of the other areas but it's still on the outer limits of the grocery store. It will definitely be nice to have close by when just one ingredient is needed. Everyone is super nice and welcoming and there were different breakfast samples throughout the store as well as insulated grocery bags for the Grand Opening. I live most of my life in Florida and I have seen many Publix. This one on overpass road is particularly interesting. On top of regular supermarket, it embeds a huge food court. Beside the typical publix sub, fried chicken, salad and soup bar, there are pizza, Mexican food, Asian food, popcorn, wine and beer bar, coffee and smoothie, bakery etc -so many choices and selections. The pricing seems lower than the shopping mall food court. The food taste fresh because the ingredients are picked out just from the store. It was a Sunday late afternoon- normal number of shoppers, not crowded nor slow. Everywhere I looked, there were friendly employee willing to help customers. I ordered a tonkotsu pork ramen. I paid for it at the cashier and brought the set to second floor dining area to sit down and enjoy my dinner. The dining room was bright, clean, comfortable with hand washing station and rest room. The broth of the ramen was good with two thin slices of pork, corn, green onion and half boiled egg. The noodles got good texture. It was good enough for its price. Mainly it was quick and easy. This publix's location is surrounded by many new subdivisions. It is super convenient for residents to come shop grocery and have a quick meal. I like this Publix. I was told and read in the newspaper that Publix had raised the bar! This was a new concept! A "Luxury Publix"!!! It's no longer just a grocery store! We dressed up, and drove an hour to check it out on Super Bowl Sunday. Here is the report of our "luxury experience"! First, I pulled up front expecting valet parking. None was to be found. No problem! I self parked and walked in... I thought a door person might open the door for me but the door was the standard automatic variety found at every Publix. I walked across the standard tile floor. The red carpet must be getting cleaned? The store is freaking huge, so if massive means luxury, then luxury it is! All the standard items were available plus more! Quite the crowd of hungry shoppers and families were present! I searched for the dance floor but just found aisles full of goods and produce and meats and stuff. There is a small cafe upstairs with seating which is definitely nice. An elevator or stairs takes you there. I checked for steak, lobster and caviar but it wasn't available on the menu? Perhaps because this was a Sunday? I checked for fresh pasta with truffles? No go. Espresso is available so that's worth a star for sure! Ultimately, I bought some groceries and obtained enjoyable exercise walking around this massive store. After years of anticipation, Publix at the Innovation Springs (adjacent to Epperson lagoon) is finally open. This Publix is huge at 55,000 sq ft. Every department is extra large than the older Publix in the area. They are also serving hot food i.e. pizza, nachos, burritos, pasta bowls and more with an upstairs area to eat. This location even has a Pours! I've seen them around Hillsborough but now in Pasco county! Super cool to have the option of having a coffee, a smoothie, a beer or even a glass of wine while doing your grocery shopping! The staff is friendly and courteous. All around the vibe is exciting and welcoming to this neighborhood. read more

First time, drove 30 min to get there. Wanted to love it. Iced coffee was great. Pizza Bar...not so much.. disgusting...we threw it out after trying it. They need to get the kid off of there, and move one of the men from produce. Teach them how to make a pizza, there was so much sauce on it..the cheese couldn't stick to it. Chicken wings were dry.. Asian Buffett looks like it doesn't get changed out. Employees Are slow and need to train at the other Publix and see what customer service is. So glad this is not my regular Publix. I will be back hoping for a better experience. I will not be getting pizza...it was really disgusting. Publix is a clean well stocked grocery store. The employees are always helpful in finding items! There are often 2 for 1 priced items that are items that are routinely purchased, so it is useful. There is ample parking in a location on Overpass Rd that has high traffic. Their bakery is very good, and their cakes besides being attractive are delicious. I shop there frequently! read more

WOW. This Publix sets the bar high for grocery shopping. Walk in and stop at the BAR - which has a good variety of craft beer on tap (10 drafts at $5 a pint) and wine (most were $6 for 5oz). Of course the bar was hopping on this random Thursday evening that I stopped in. Sit down to enjoy your beverage or take it to go on your grocery trip through the store. Great service and in the spirit of Publix treating their employees right with wages, they don't take tips. There's a large area with all kinds of freshly prepared food: salad bar, hot bar, pizza station, nacho/burrito/bowl bar, sushi, deli and even a popcorn area. Everything is clean and priced very affordably. The rest of the store is very clean and spaced out nicely. Plenty of parking and this is a standalone store (aside from the nail salon attached) so there is not the usual chaos as other Publix parking lots which share space in a strip mall. This review was conceived from my visit to the Publix on Overpass Road in Wesley Chapel Fl. I have been shopping at Publix for many, many years and although you notoriously pay more for everything at Publix, the overall shopping experience was very pleasant, and for that reason, I justified paying extra. Every time we went to the store grocery shopping, my children looked forward to their choice of a free cookie. Today, my daughter who just recently turned 13 walked up to the counter and asked the woman for a cookie. The woman asked her how old she was. My daughter answered 13. The woman then told her that Publix had a new policy, and the cookies were for children 12 and under. I could not believe my ears. The corporate pig's overcharge for everything in the store and I have been ignoring it for years, but taking a cookie away from a child because she is now 13 is just ridiculous. Goodbye Publix!! Today was my last and final shopping at Publix! I will also make sure that everyone I know is aware of their GREED and just how low they will sink to save a few measly pennies. read more

I heard in my Publix couponing group that there was a new BIGGER Publix in Wesley Chapel where you can sip wine and shop! Just so happens my sister lives there, so you know I had to check it out because I love Publix! My first thought walking in was omg it's HUGE! They have the drink section where you can order wine, smoothies, beer, and coffee. They have a pizza counter, burrito bowls, ramen and poke bowls, and subs of course. There's an upstairs area where you can sit and eat! There's also a salad bar and a chicken wings bar! Their bakery is amazing. They even had breakfast sandwiches already made! The meat department and seafood department had a lot more selections to choose from. The workers were all very nice and helpful. I'll be visiting family again next weekend so I'm definitely coming back! I hope we get an updated Publix like this in Jax! And if there is already one, let me know the location and I'm there! Come here if you are naive and buy into overpriced and overhyped things as a general rule. This place was claimed to be the "next best thing" and was terribly far from it. I regret wasting my time and money here on a LUNCHABLE tasting slice of pizza and soggy soft nacho chips. The nacho bar man has a scooper for guacamole the size of the average EYEBALL and dumped a CLUMP of cold "queso" over the top of the soggy stale chips. The chicken was inedible and pink, I could still hear the clucking, honestly.I waited at the bar for someone to ask for my order, but the gossiping group of girls side-eyeing us didn't come take our order. As we walked away, they called for "next in line" at the SAME spot where we stood while a whole flock of people ran to there. Did they think I was standing there for my health? The only nice experience I had was with a nice man wearing a pink button-down who grabbed us bags to retrieve a cookie from the bakery bar. He is fine and unscathed, but I will never return here again per the lack of quality and service from this horrible establishment. I wish nothing but the best and a stomach of steel to those who attempt to consume this garbage wannabe Whole Foods "food". I wish I had a better review for the greater Wesley Chapel area, but I'm sorry to say, you will have better luck dining at the McDonald's dumpster, really. read more
