Deli

This Publix store is located right at the corner of 94th and Harding in Surfside with the parking entrance/exit off Abbott Ave. This Publix is on the 2nd floor because the ground level is parking so the store itself is built on top of their parking lot. While they have a flat escalator going up and down, I'm not sure exactly how one gets their carts up and down. I've seen in stores like Target that they have escalators for carts down the middle but this place doesn't have that. I can only assume they have elevators? I'm not sure exactly how one would get their cart down to their car. We didn't have that much purchased so we didn't need a cart going back. The number one and two things I always look forward to when I go to Publix hasn't changed. One is the sandwiches they make at the deli counter which make Subway look like a packet of ketchup and their ready to take home fried chicken in a see through box. I bought one box of fried chicken, a box of spicy wings and an Italian sub to share among 4 people. It almost seems that there's at least one Publix about every mile apart Miami and that's important when it comes to these two key items that are made in house which are their great sandwiches and amazing fried chicken.

The escalator to go up into Publix is always broken I would say at least five or six times a month.

The escalator to go up into Publix is always broken I would say at least five or six times a month, this is very inconvenient since we have to walk all the way around the building in order to get into Publix and they keep not doing anything about it. The elevators are super crowded and dirty as well. I really hope their management team starts taking care of the escalator maintenance or they will lose lots of clients since some of us don't feel like going up the stairs with heavy groceries every time.

People mover!

Interesting Publix location. There is parking in the garage below and then you take an elevated people mover to the actual top of the building which is where the store is located. Pricing is noticeably higher (they are close to Bal Harbour Shops) and I found it crowded and the aisles more cramped. But, regardless, this is a great option to pick up groceries, fresh produce, deli meat, etc... especially for the out of towners. Bring your recyclable bags as they are more sturdier than the plastic ...especially if you are walking to/from in that hot Miami heat!

I asked for a half sub but was charged a whole. With all the wrong toppings on it.

Staying i tonight after an good workout and busy day, I found them on UberEats. They have a pretty good spread of healthy stuff including juices , and I ordered their 6 oz chicken breast with vegetables and sweet potato, plus a side of black beans. My chicken breast was pretty close to the advertised weight (they also sell a 9 oz piece), clean yet tasty. I added a little of their cilantroish spicy sauce for flavor and a hint of a kick. The black beans (3 tsp for tonight and leftovers for tomorrow) had a good texture, as did the boiled sweet potato. This is legit healthy as it doesn't have the matshmallow and calorie inducing fluff of the erstwhile healthy fast food place. I passed on the broccoli as a matar of personal preference - maybe let us pick the veggies - but the sliced carrots that came with the order were yummy as well. The food was delivered promptly within the promised time.

Yes, I don't eat heavy so I was able to eat the lunch and dinner servings through out the day (4x a day I eat) and it was filling. Does there weight loss program work? NOPE! Considering this is all I ate.... I expected to loose something! Especially considering the amount of tasteless ground turkey I consuumed. I really feel like if you are looking for a meal delivery service short term, this is for you. (Their AHI TUNA STEAK IS TO DIE FOR!) if you are loOking to achieve your 2020 fitness goals, this ain't it. 3 stars for their good dishess, -2 for the price and failure of program (what diet letS you eat pasta?! Or bbq sauce ?! Just saying) Also, I requested to start Saturday , but got my meals on Tuesday .... Tuesday at 9:30 pm! Ha! It was worth trying, but I won't be returning as a customer. Please still consider them as an option if you're not looking at their weight loss program, and do not plan to have the food for more than a few weeks, as the meals can get somewhat redundant. Argentinian French café garden in SOBE! If you ever saw Great Expectations with Gwyneth Paltrow,…read morethis hidden spot will take you back to it, as its mystical garden will set the tone for a romantic and fabulous gourmet brunch to indulge your taste for sweet coffee and pastries. Greeted by the charismatics and all hands Sol and Juan they will escort you to the comfy spot of your preference and recommend you all of the favorite must-haves! I had the pleasure of enjoying a fabulous tower of sweet treats that included: - the famous Argentine "facturas" dulce de leche half-moon , crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and sweetened with an authentic dulce de leche spread. - The ham and cheese half-moon , with its buttery texture and a mellow sugar bath together with melted ham and cheese blended the perfect mix of a sweet and savory experience in a bite. - Crumble "migas" sandwich , this could be called the Argentine grilled cheese sandwich with mayo and ham twist. The particular thing about it is the thin layers of toasted bread that don't overlap the taste of the cheese and ham. - the Dulce de Leche Bomb roll, a sweet pastry filled with succulent dulce spread and cream mix that will explode in your mouth as soon as you place it in your mouth! The confection of sweet flavors will take you to Argentina's best dulce de leche taste. - Braid cream and dulce de leche pastry, it's an interlaced pastry stick, with the same authentic cream and dulce de lech spread that defines the Argentinan flavor as its other neighbors in the plate. - drum the rolls and dive a special shout out to the Dulce de Leche cheesecake ! So creamy and soft and perfectly sprinkled with the right amount of Dulce de leche spread that you will forget about any other you have tasted in the past. - the cherry on the top of this Argentinian Pastry tower of pleasure , of course, had to be with two iconic Alfajores, with the rough and consistent texture of a buttery cookie with its traditional Dulce de Leche filling. - Time to rank the Argentinian empanadas : 1. Nut , blue and mozzarella cheese. Filled with plenty of everything its name describes. All the ingredients crafted the empanada to perfection. 2. Mushroom ‍: not only the mushroom filling will make you suspire, but also the mix of other vegetables (tomato, pepper , and onion ) that it is spiced with. 3. Ham and cheese: the classic and the one that can't miss your empanada tasting. This one will never disappoint. 4. Pumpkin and corn : even though I had high expectations of this specific recipe, compared to the other options, I think I would prefer trying another one next time. If you really enjoy the pumpkin flavor, don't miss it. 5. Chicken: good as expected, but also nothing special about it. You will need their coffee as is a very well-balanced and genuine Italian roast , so you can also dip your food order in it. The food carousel of pleasure is orchestrated by Juan who is devoted to following Argentina's strict standards of quality and that easily spreads his passion for the kitchen in everything he puts his hands on! And assisted by Sol who is as brightening as her name . In Gustavo Ceratti's better-said words: "Gracias Totales".

It is part vegan kitchen, part natural grocery store, and completely full of heart. From the outside you might not expect much, but the second you walk in you can feel the energy. The main guy in the kichen - my man Carlos!! - has so much charisma. Before I even had time to fully look at the menu, he handed me a small sample of their soup of the day. It was warm, flavorful, and honestly so delicious that I was instantly sold! I am not even vegan, but the food completely won me over. Everything tasted fresh, nourishing, and thoughtfully made. I ordered more than I planned to, and I have to admit something funny. I do not have a single picture of what I ate or drank because I literally gulped it down so fast. It was that good. The only photo I managed to take was of the enchiladas, the menu, and of course; Carlos! Everything else disappeared before I even thought about my phone. They also made me a freshly squeezed orange juice, and I watched them use actual oranges right there. No fake juice, no concentrate, just real oranges being squeezed. It tasted fresh and clean. On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable. It feels good to eat something that is both healthy and affordable. The store side is just as charming, with shelves full of natural supplements, spices, snacks, drinks, and little treasures you did not know you needed. Everyone there was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have customers walk through the door. It ended up being such a fun and unexpected experience for me. I walked in out of curiosity and left with a full stomach and a big smile. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, or none of the above, I truly recommend stopping by and supporting this spot. Hipsters, come get your mangosteen on over here because this is where the wild things are. Let's put it this way, I walked out of here with a higher awareness of the whole idea that my body is a machine, and that sometimes, that machine cannot solely survive from croquetas alone.
