Where shopping is a pleasure. It is my favorite place to run to as a mom to get away and look at all the pretty produce displays and get lost in the aisles with their BOGO deals! This time though, I was in for an online order pickup, yes I said it right, ONLINE ORDER! I ordered their famous subs so I did not have to wait in the long line around supper time rush and the fried chicken maze of people! It's worth it though, I get it, I've waited 1/2 an hour before on chicken it's that good! ANYWAYS, my online order was very simple and quick, I love that you can select the toppings you want or don't now. I had forgotten a couple items on one of the subs and called to see if they had already made them, and they did, but they very nicely gave me a couple side bags of those toppings that I can add myself. Picked the order up and they were as friendly and helpful as they were on phone. These subs are huge, and are just plain amazing! I rate them highly over any sub place I've ever been to! The prices are perfect and if you check their weekly flyer there are deals on a different sub a week! I can't ever say I've had a bad experience at any Publix but these ladies helped me out with my forgetfulness and they deserve a mention on here! Clean, organized, fully stocked and outstanding customer service!

I love Publix. I have been to this location many times and have not been let down once! I went today after work and it was packed. 7 of 9 lanes were open and had a cashier and bagger at each. The Walmart down the road could definitely learn a lesson from this Publix location. This location has always been clean and staff is always courteous. While I was in, the manager would walk around and bag the purchases while one of the associates was walking another client to their car what a great eye for customer service! Every time I saw an associate walk a customer out they would always be bringing carts back to make sure that the cart area was well stocked. Another plus is that you don't need to have a loyalty card like many other grocery stores. They pass the savings on to their customers!

I just bought the half-slab of pork ribs. What a mistake. This tasted like hotdogs on a bone. I don't think I've ever had ribs this bad.

Don't want to cook tonight? Stop by the all ready prepared pizza, chinese, meat and three hot bar, fried chicken, salad and wing bar or have them make you a fresh sub with Boar Head meats and cheeses. Heck, they even have a milk shake machine!! Love the bakery. Used to drive all the way to Hendersonville to Harris Teeter for their English toasting bread. Now get it from Ingles. I call the day before, they bake it fresh for me and it's so much better than Teeters. The cashiers and baggers are super friendly and there doesn't seem to be much turnover. The manager has been there for over 10 years. Obviously Ingles knows the value of keeping a good manager in one location. Shout out to Xavier, the meat market manager! I walked around the store and bought things on sale. Sadly, the sale prices that are posted is not how things ring up. The other problem, I bought a smoked chicken a whole chicken. I was very excited to get home and eat it. It wasn't fully cooked. I didn't realize and ate a chicken wing. I also bought a piece of cooked salmon. I'm not sure if it was the salmon or the chicken but all of a sudden I was so incredibly nauseous! Then I looked for my receipt. I had no memory of the cashier giving me a receipt. I looked through all my bags. I looked in my purse. I looked in my wallet. No receipt. Oh and I bought a bottle of evolution. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Opened it up when I got home and it was bitter, which meant it was going bad already. And I went directly from the store home so it didn't sit in my car and get warm. Since I didn't have a receipt and I felt I was overcharged... The charge of my credit card wasn't what I thought I had paid... I returned everything to the store. They were able to download my receipt. They did give me a complete credit for everything I bought. But there was something I went back and bought. Simple syrup mixers for alcoholic drinks. They were on sale for $2.99 and usually $4.35 or $4.50. My original purchase I had bought five. That's definitely a good deal and I use this product all the time. After returning everything, I went back to the shelves and grabbed two bottles of simple syrup. When I went to pay, here's a surprise: they rang up at full price. As I walked into the store, and as I walked out of the store, I kept telling people to check their receipts. It's very common for grocery stores to have sale prices posted, but not update their computer system and if you're not paying attention, you do not get the sale price. Well, sadly, I guess this is what this chain does. I hope the people who run this chain read my review. I hope they check how they cook their chickens in store and sell them as fully cooked. I know Costco and all the other grocery store chains do not sell undercooked hot chickens. Someone's not doing their job or they don't have their thermometers working. Very sad.

So store manager and acting manager both were active in this. I bought two bottles of wine, both at a greAAtt discount that should have been 20$ for 2. I pay for my groceries and because of how they do the discount at the end I don't notice that I've been over charged almost 20$ a bottle. So as soon as I pay I read the receipt and see the price is wrong. I head to customer service and see that it's almost double. The wine I i get is misplaced, sad I know. But I've Read the label and the bottle previously so I'm sure I've got it right. As I talk to the manager she runs to check, the bottles have been Misplaced and she has moved them back to the correct spot. She also tired to correct me on the differences between the wine. I WENT TO CHECK IT OUT MYSELF SHE MOVED THE BOTTLES TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE I HAD MADE IT ALL UP. So it's not eveN about the money it's the attitude which is complete crap. Let me also mention the store manager was in on I it all. I wIll never shop here again. And just bEcause I was treated so badly I may see what I can do to maKe sure everyone is aware. I came in to buy a few items for Nachos...Tortilla Chips, refried beans and olives. It took me like 10 minutes to try and find olives.. I went down the ONLY aisle that had canned vegetables/sauce/ and Hispanic food like 5 times... NO Olives! I about gave up and then I walk down to get cheese and then bam! Olives at an end cap by cheese?! So it was a bit discombobulated for me. I don't hate the place , customer service was good, it wasn't messy or anything it just wasn't what everyone hypes it up to be. But...after stopping in while visiting family in Taylors, I may be forced to agree with the sign. What a tremendous selection! One caveat...this is only the "best Asian market in town" if you are looking for Chinese/Vietnamese ingredients. For this, they win simply because they are HUGE and therefore stock tons of ingredients. If you are looking for Thai, Korean, Malaysian, etc...you're best bet is still probably Saigon Market (closer to downtown on Wade Hampton)...and I'm STILL looking for a local market that offers fresh Kafir lime leaves (truly, a crucial component to a delicious "Tom Yum" soup...shrimp or chicken).
