Stopped by this Aldi because it was convenient on my way from Hendersonville, NC. I went in to get some seedless green grapes, they're on sale for $1.19 a bag. They didn't look that good so I didn't get them. I did find a good deal on butternut squash for .89 cent each, compared to $1.48 a lb. at Ingles. I use to shop at this Aldi before an Aldi came to Easley. If you're looking for a good price on vegetables, fruit and other items check them out at Aldi.

Another Aldi, more excellent prices, good selections of almost every item. I've come to love Aldi's fresh orange juice, butter, half and half, cinnamon swirl bread, Simply Nature multigrain tortilla chips, and especially their frozen buttermilk biscuits! WOW! OH! WOW! Those little gems are excellent and rise to over twice the original size. They embody all the characteristics of competition worthy products--light, flaky, straight sides and flat tops. As with all Aldis, be sure to bring your own carryalls because they don't provide bags.

Tomato Vine - How they looked 1 hour after I bought them

I thought that was a great deal! They sometimes will have duck eggs too. It's absolutely my go to spot for produce, local honey and unique finds.

I spent $97 at Tomato Vine on Saturday, with nearly half of that ($45) going toward two soursop…read morefruits. Within a day, both soursops molded--one I refrigerated, and the other I left out because it looked ripe. I called ahead before returning them and calmly explained the situation. The man who answered the phone (owner or manager, I assume) immediately got rude, called me ignorant for not knowing how to store soursop, and hung up on me while I was still trying to speak. When I arrived at the store with the spoiled fruit (one cut open and one whole), the experience only got worse. He berated an elderly employee right in front of me, saying he would dock his pay for giving me no guidance about ripeness. It was heartbreaking to witness that kind of treatment. I wasn't asking for a full refund--just a respectful exchange--but instead, I was humiliated and talked down to. He refunded me $21 for the whole fruit and nothing for the cut one, then told me to "stay away from his soursop" because I "don't know how to handle it." Everyone starts somewhere when trying new fruits, and a real professional would educate their customers, not insult them. There are plenty of other places to buy high-quality soursop with better service--like the Charlotte farmers market vendors who are there every Saturday on 3930 Brookshire Blvd. who treat you like a human being. I won't be returning here and I highly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

I really enjoyed my first visit to the Feed and Seed Market at Judson Mill, at the suggestion of my…read moresister. It's a big open store with really friendly and helpful people. Every thing in the store is locally sourced including the food in the cafe. There are candles, local honey(honey sticks too), dairy products, jellies, jams, fresh beans, barbecue sauces, local strawberries, as well healthy food options. The cafe serves breakfast items, baked goods, pasta salads, hoagies, soups of the day and hot/now pizza. The pizza choice was cheese pizza and pepperoni. It's a nice sized slice of pizza for $2, and it tasted good. In the refrigerated section they have many heat and serve options like lasagna and chicken Alfredo for $12. There is also a comfortable place to sit and drink a cup of coffee. If you haven't visited The Feed and Seed Market, stop by and check it out, I will be visiting again soon.

Headed to Feed add Seed and depleted their Chocolate Chip Cookies, their Blueberry Muffins AND their Cranberry Muffins. The next time I need bakery items, Feed & Seed will be my "go to!" WHEW! And PLENTY of free parking.
