Yelp brought up this location and I was hesitant to try this location after reading the reviews, but I'm pleased I did. I was on hold less than a minute before speaking with April in the pharmacy. After gathering some information needed to contact myhome pharmacy in Rhode Island she told me My prescriptions would be ready by 2pm this same day. I received a text message at 12:30 saying they were ready for pick up! When I picked them up it was obvious to see this is a very busy location. The young woman (Natalie?) at the counter could not have been nicer and more helpfulespecially given the fact that I did not have my prescription coverage information. I did see a technician named Patrick working at the window, and from what I could see he is not the same Patrick described in one of the reviews here. He was pleasant to all the customers and always asked if they had any questions about their medications. Perhaps business in addition to consumers refer to Yelp Reviews, or maybe Patrick like all of us do on occasion was having a bad day. The staff completely lacks any form of empathy or sympathy for anyone and why they may be there in need. They walk away from you while speaking and use the excuse of them having questions to not fill a script. Meanwhile they don't call or even text with the question they will just wait for the customer to come in thinking they are picking up their script only to be told we will text when it's ready and goodbye we are closing for lunch. I've had instances where it's taken them 2 weeks to get a script and during that time they refuse to call other Walgreens locations to try and Help their incompetence. Go anywhere else for pharmacy needs. Any family run pharmacy will be 100x better customer service. I don't know how anyone still uses them

All they want to do is push there covid and flu shots which I don't get anymore because they made me very sick on top of giving me the flu. I have to wait 4 more days and now next doctors visit, because said prescription can only be issued monthly has to wait another 4 days and i run out of medication each time they prolong it. Pharmacists SHOULD NEVER wait until they're OUT or LOW of a medication to order more. It happens every single month, so wait 4 days one month, then 4 more the next month and it all adds up. If you see you're running low or know there is a prescription needing to be filled 4 days prior, should be common practice to make it a priority to have it ready.

They have a compounding department, medical equipment for sale and I think rent as well not 100% sure on that. They also have a post office in house as well. I have been going here on and off for many years and I recommend them for a lot of your medicine and medical needs.

From 2-3 people greeting you by the front door in full PPE. With Sanitizing Spray Bottles in hand. Directing you to Sanitized Shopping Carts. Yesterday, in the afternoon of Monday Labor Day. A friendly lady assigned to wipe the carts down. Directed me to the hand wipes, hand sanitizer in a quick but friendly manner. Greeting me with a welcoming tone in her voice. I did not have Hannah My Service Dog to ease my apprehension. (Since, she's still in training and has become a great asset to me. My family and friends. I was making a quick visit for some Holiday goodies). Much to my surprise I realized the store had very little foot traffic. Not the many products we are use to seeing. I was very happy to see a good supply of the GFree & No Lactose products. Since, I have Celiac and cannot consume cows milk. I am able to have Goat Milk products. Feta Cheese made only with Goats Milk is a super delight. I also recomend the Jarlsberg real Cheese No Lactose imported to Sweden. However, one day, these healthy products next to the pharmacy vanished, replaced by chemical, cancer-causing medications that keep the population sick. We want grass-fed, natural foods like Siete, Base & eziquiel bread they carry. We were thrilled by their health-conscious initiative and shocked by this backward change, and we wondered whether these companies paid Publix more money to replace the good products. Is our health being sold out to the highest bidder? We need more companies supporting our health, not destroying it. The pharmacy staff is also short-tempered. I've been a loyal Publix customer since the 1980s, but I'm confused why they're not on our side. Maybe Whole Foods & Trader Joe's can come in for a chance at us staying healthier.
