Given that "COVID restrictions" have hit small businesses so hard, I've been going out of my way to…read morebuy from small businesses in my town. I tried going to Ball Park Liquors for the first time instead of Publix, and boy, was that a mistake! The nasty, abrasive cashier yelled at me that I couldn't enter without a "mask" even after I informed him that I'm disabled (and there's *NO mask mandate* in this county/town, anyway) and I can't wear one. He yelled at me that I'd have to "wait outside" in the cold, dark back-alley that constituted the dead-end strip mall this place was located in if I wanted to buy something from them-- great way to treat a disabled customer! Just yell at them to wait outside like a dog in the cold and dark. The place was filthy inside, so I can't imagine what germs he thinks I'd bring in, rather than bring back outside with me if I'd stayed inside that cesspool much longer. So instead of being humiliated and discriminated against AND paying more for the favor, I decided I'd go to back to Publix. I'd rather shop at any other store in the entire county, because Ball Park Liquors is the only one that discriminates against the disabled. I'm not the only one, either. Apparently many customers, including ones I spoke to coming out of Publix liquors, have stopped patronizing that gross little place for the same reason. I don't blame them-- why pay more so you can patronize a filthy storefront with bad service?

One bottle of Tito's so please don't get too excited this Karen at the register demanded both my friends ID and my ID and without both of our IDs this company would not sell us the alcohol should've made a tik tok about it. In all my years of purchasing alcohol, I have never heard of this. Please sound off if you have. It should be called Karen wine and more not Total Wine. Unbelievably rude staff. This store gave me severe anxiety. I do suffer from generalized anxiety disorder and have ADD, but I would give the store an F. I will never go back there ever again in my life and I would recommend going to ABC across the street. The staff there know me and they know everybody that goes in there because it's a locals shop. They have SCW's small chocolates from Italy which she was excited to see in the states. The store is on the small side but not difficult to get around. They have on the south wall a decent selection of wines and champagnes. Some pretty high quality labels. The middle of the market has things like glasses, cutting boards, some more wines and various other kitchen items. All looked to be of high quality. The north end of the market has a fridge/freezer section and a meat, cheese and deli counter. They have some meals for 2 advertised on the board above but keep in mind they are frozen, which didn't really work for us. But they do have plant based options which is nice. The employees are busy but are happy to help you if you need anything. Overall a good experience but knowing a little about wine, the prices are a bit more than I'd pay for the wines I saw.
