My Mom and I were looking for a few items we needed to include items for dinner like shredded cheese for baked mac and cheese. Yum!!! We found the cheese in an aisle instead of the outskirts or perimeter of the store. Not all Publixes are alike so we were definitely lost for a bit. We did get those extra steps in! Jay is awesome! Honestly, this is my favorite Publix right now because of how close it is to me. Although their prices are a bit higher than other nearby markets, there is alot to be said for convenience. The self check-out aisles are also a definite plus. They are rarely ever out of anything, that I've noticed, and there is plenty of parking in this plaza. The older staff and management tend to be pretty friendly and I hold that Publix has one of the best employee training programs in the State of FL. I have not utilized their pharmacy yet, but is there anything better than Publix Bakery & Deli sections? read more

This Publix is right by work, so whenever I need supplies or want to celebrate my team -- I only go here over Walmart and Target. This Publix is always in stock with everything and anything especially when I need it! The deli, the bakery, the seafood section. I appreciate how clean this location is and the staff are just oh so wonderful. Living five years here in Florida, for the first time -- someone offered to put my groceries on my trunk as I was walking to my car. This employee was sweating in the heat of Florida gathering the carts together, but he took a second out of his hard routine to help me. The staff here is always extremely friendly. Sometimes I am greeted several times throughout the store by different employees. I usually try to bring my reusable bags so that I don't have to use plastic. The staff is amazing about getting everything to fit into my reusable bags. I really appreciate the layout of the store as I find it easier than some publix to find items. I like that I don't have to go in circles in order to find everything I am looking for. Typically this location has some great sales and deals going on with different ite The store appears very clean and well taken care of. Typically it is pretty easy to find parking. It's a fairly average Publix. Everyone is friendly. It's smaller than normal in my opinion, a little bit cramped compared to some of the other Publix I've been to. they do have great customer service. Their isles are a little bit different than I'm used to but that's no big deal. This used to be my favorite Publix in the area. Not sure if it's work conditions, post-pandemic, or new staff but it was pure struggle bus in here tonight. The Customer service desk was too busy to acknowledge people waiting in line and the person I was waiting for to help me just walked away from handling a line and left the other person to handle two lines. The deli was super under stocked for many things. The Sub counter said I'll be right back and took a while to return. The one guy there said he can't help me because he's only preparing online sub orders. Ten minutes later the sub guy that could help me returned. He was struggling with not having enough fixings to put in the sub. Tried to get their deli family meal with rotisserie chicken, two deli sides and rolls. They were out of rolls and didn't want to sub anything else. I gave up and went to check out and tried to use a Publix coupon in the app. The check out staff didn't know how to redeem the Publix coupon from their own app. Sooo will not be back unless I absolutely have to go for something specific. The whole trip should have taken 30 minutes or less, I was trapped by poor customer service in there for over an hour. MEH read more

I was tired and running out of choices, then I got into this supermarket, managed buy Mr. Eddie Guzmán. He heard me talking with a coworker, picked up that I've had a problem and immediately expedited a solution. So kind and human that I'll be for ever grateful. This Publix is one I frequent with for specific items, especially the deli department. I love their sub sandwiches, their fried chicken, and tenders. I've been coming to this location for about 5 years now and the food has always been great. This location seems smaller to another off of HE Thomas and International but the service I've experienced has basically when the same. Fast friendly and stocked as any other sized location. I finally came in as a new customer at the Pharmacy and I'm so glad that I wasn't in a big hurry. New prescription, new insurance, and new doctor so I wasn't quite savvy to the questions that was asked of me. I just knew my insurance card was my medical and drug prescription insurance but that wasn't clear to the pharmacy technician. So it took about 15-20 minutes to clarify. Other than that, everything else was smooth. The service at the deli counter is pretty quick. Everyone is pleasant and they display a willingness to help. The only reason why I give his place a 4 is because of their prices, slightly higher than their competitors but well worth it for items in their deli and produce department, but not for other grocery items where I can receive the same quality for a lower price. read more

Who doesn't love the Publix deli?! My absolute favorite is the Artichoke Spinach Flatbread. My husband loves the Buffalo Chicken one. While the flatbreads always taste amazing at this location, the service is sometimes a little slow. So I can't give 5 Stars. Today I was very surprised with the customer service at the deli. I went to but 1 pound of ham and one pound of cheese. Sherry was the one who asked what I wanted. I replied one pound of Publix sweet ham and one pound of public yellow Munster cheese. She immediately stopped me and told me that I had to tell her one at a time. She then suggested that I write it down and finish shopping, then pick it up afterwards. I asked her if she really couldn't remember 2 items. She said No. It was then that a co worker stepped in and he was great. He made light of the situation and said come on Sherry it's only 2 items, I'll do one and you get the other. Awesome customer skills on his behalf. As for Sherry, I think that she needs to be in a different part of the store. There are many people who would love to have her job and represent Publix in a good way!!! read more

Another great Publix, always good costumer service and clean stores. Even though this is a smaller location located in Sanford right on RD.46 it is easily visible from the road and has a few business surrounding it like a Chinese restaurant. They offer every thing every other Publix offers except no Pharmacy but they do sell wine and your typical grocery's and have a bakery and produce and a great deli that offers Boars Head meat. The store has great service and is open 7 days a week like all Publix, very convenient to the people that live near by withing a walking distance and always had happy staff. read more

This is one of the worst publix stores I have been in. Unfortunately it's in a good location for me to stop by on the way home. Deli staff is very rude with poor quality subs. The store is small and they usually only have 2 registers open at a time which means long waits to check out. The town center location at Heathrow is so much nicer, newer and staff is more friendly. Drive an extra 5 minutes and go to that location instead. read more

Another great Publix location. I prefer the one in the town center but this one has a great selection and was easy to navigate. It is easy to get to on State RD 46 and there are several business in the plaza. I bought a couple of nice steaks and some asparagus for dinner and the quality is good and no lines to get out. read more

I have been going to this store for many years. It used to be an excellent Publix, however it has changed for the worse Very often they are sold out of advertised specials. I don't want a rain check because I need what I want now and not at a later date. Even though this is the closest grocery store to me I am now forced into going to Walmart or Winn Dixie. Okay, so the sparkle is dimmed a bit. My last three trips have not been so good. Seems like the were low on stock and the produce is lacking proper attention. My artesian lettuce package had aggressive active mold growth when I brought it home and opened it! Not good. Out of stock on herbs that I frequently buy, and also out of stock on the one soda water I went in for. Line of sight for the seafood is pretty bad, the attendant was in another area straightening stock while I waited a good long time before I hunted her down. She was really nice and apologetic, but she should be allowed to see her counter from her responsible areas. It just seems like this particular store is slacking a bit. I want this public yo be awesome because it's so close to home... But I've left twice because it just didn't have it right. :( and I REALLY love Publix. read more

The only reason you get one star is because I can't leave no stars. Went to get a sub and a lady named Gret helped me and was very rude especially since I couldn't hear her and she gave me attitude every time I asked her to repeat herself. If there's already two other people being helped and I ask you to repeat yourself because there's other people talking and you're soft spoken do not give me attitude or you will receive it right back and thanks for tossing my sub on the counter and just walking away. I have been to this Publix many times, and many times have been unpleasant. I have had cashiers negatively comment on the amount of food I am buying (for my 5 children and husband). Tonight, was the most unpleasant of all. There was one party platter that had a sell by date for today, that was clearly never picked up. We asked if it could be discounted since it was clearly custom made, and we were greeted with rudeness. This question was asked at 7:30 pm, with a sell by date of today. Clearly, this Publix store would rather throw away a huge platter of food, instead of entertain a reasonable request. Ridiculous and bad business practice. Drive a few miles extra for one of the kinder Publix locations in the area. read more

If there were 10 stars even 20 stars I would give them all of them. This is the absolute best Publix, in fact, the best supermarket we have ever shopped in. I would not go to any other. Every time we go in there every employee, manager, etc. there are friendly and ask if they could help. They go above and beyond and have done more than anyone could possibly hope for. We have to take a cab since we do not have a car and it is hard to get anyone to come back for us so we have to have them wait. We went to use my EBT card and I had the pin backwards so after trying it a few times it locked us out and I could not use it. The cab driver had been there waiting for us for over an hour and had to leave for another trip and we had to leave the groceries there because we didn't want to take a chance on getting stuck. We got home and I was able to work out the problem with the card but we were going to have to call to get another cab to take us back there. I called to verify with them that it was resolved and we would be back because there were holding our groceries in the refrigerator to keep them cold. When I told them we would be back as soon as we could get a cab, the girl asked me to hold on and came back saying they would get someone to bring us our groceries so we wouldn't have to spend for another cab. I was overwhelmed by their generosity and caring for us like we were important to them, like a family. They remind me of what we see on TV from the olden days when everyone knew each other, people cared about each other and helped someone in need. I never saw anyone do that in any place we have been involved with, especially in this day and time. They were compassionate and caring, knowing what we went through but didn't treat us like a customer, they treated us like they would treat a family member or a good friend. That's how we feel there. Family or good friends. It's so nice to go somewhere that makes you feel valued and not because you are spending money there but because they care about you as a person. They make us feel like that every time we go in there. There is no other place like it. They employ the best people and provide customer service like no other company I've even dealt with. That makes me a customer for life and someone who truly values them not for what they do but for the kind of people they are. They make a difference and in our world today, that is rare. I can't rave enough about them and the customer service, human kindness, and compassion they contain as human beings. Our family is eternally grateful to you and we are so glad to have found this Publix because of the people that work there.
