It's a Filipino grocery store that also cooks hot food at the back of the store. The store has lots of your Filipino favorites, spices, sauces and snacks. However it seems the real MVP is the food. The beefsteak tomatoes, fresh beets, and acorn squash looked amazing and are some of the largest I have seen around. The store is clean and organized. There was one staff member working at the register when we arrived and she was very nice with me when I was checking out. This one does not have a meat counter, they pre-package the meat and seafood and put them in the freezer/cooler sections. I do miss the seafood counter but there are a few in Orlando that still have that option. They also have a prepared food counter, and the prices are pretty reasonable. They have good service. Check them out if you're looking for some items you can't find in a regular grocery store.

This location also has a few more ethnic choices (other than Hispanic): you can get king mushrooms here, for instance. Before I went, I messaged them on Instagram for a specific beer my fiance and I have been searching for since our recent vacation in Ocala. Couldn't find it at Publix, Walmart or Winn Dixie. This craft beer was that hard to find. I sent them a message and the same day, they responded that it will be delivered tomorrow! Coming today, we stopped by and there is was - two fresh cases of the beers we've been longing for in Ocala. Waiting for us in the fridge. It's called Duke's Cold Nose Brown Ale. Best brown ale in Florida! On top of that, they let us try a bite of their famous chicken tikka masala sandwich. They weren't wrong - it had a kick but it was so yummy. Perfect portion of everything. Met the family and friends of the shop, Justin who helped us secure our ales and Neil who checked us out and made sure we got the beer we wanted. Justin is awesome!
