Imagine that one tiny section on isle 3 at Publix but exploded into an emporium of various beans, rice, tortillas, and sazon. Their deli is unlike Publix as well. They have a large hot case with all the Cuban dishes including pork, ropa vieja, oxtail, tostones, maduros, empanadas, beans, and 3 different kinds of rice. Their sandwiches are served on half of a Cuban loaf. I once ordered a pork sandwich and although it wasn't the best I've had it was definitely the biggest (I should've eaten half and saved the rest for later). They also bake all of their bread and pastries in addition to serving up a fantastic cafe con leche.

It does get pretty busy but for the most part, you can usually always find parking. The staff are kind and helpful (when and if needed). The food options / varieties are great! They offer various cuisine types for just about everyone. This is also inclusive of their dining options (ie their hot and cold bars, bakery and the like). They have a range of household items, personal care items, toiletries, groceries, and so forth. So, again, you can usually find most of what you need. As far as their dining options go, I've gotten a hot lunch from Whole Foods on numerous occasions. I never eat there - but you can if you'd like as they have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating options to enjoy your meal. I'm usually not disappointed with the options. I also really enjoy a number of their soup options. The bakery is probably my favorite section! I'm always leaving Whole Foods with something sweet. Nonetheless, Whole Foods is a great shopping experience. Again, they are pricey and are usually pretty busy, but it's usually always worth it.

I've received moldy berries on multiple occasions when ordering through Instacart from this location, which has made me hesitant to purchase fresh produce. My experience with the pharmacy was also disappointing. I arrived around 8:20 p.m. to pick up an antibiotic prescription, only to be told nothing was ready. When I explained that it was an antibiotic and time-sensitive, I was told I would have to wait until sometime over the weekend or even during the following week because they were closing at 9 p.m. I was also told that no other pharmacy would be able to fill it any sooner and that there were no after-hours pharmacies in the area. Concerned about delaying treatment, I asked if the prescription could be transferred elsewhere. Both staff members responded with noticeable attitude and seemed inconvenienced by my questions rather than trying to help. Ironically, after I requested the transfer, the prescription was filled and ready in about five minutes. I later noticed that the prescription had been designated as a "Priority Acute" medication in the pharmacy system, indicating it was recognized as time-sensitive. That made the initial interaction even more frustrating because it showed the medication could be prepared before closing despite being told I would likely have to wait days. I wasn't expecting special treatment, just accurate information, empathy, and a willingness to help with a time-sensitive prescription.

We just heated them up in the microwave but they were the most moist and well-seasoned Swedish meatballs/sauce that we've ever had. Blows IKEA meatballs out of the water. Mashed potatoes were super velvety and perfect with the meatballs. Chimichurri sauce is perfectly seasoned. We're trying the pork chop and brussel sprouts tonight but based off everything else, I'm sure it will be delicious. All the workers were super nice and helpful for a couple of newcomers to the store. I never expected such a gem of a hidden little meat market in Longwood. We're definitely coming back. The young woman behind the counter asks what I want. I order. In the middle of her slicing one of the deli meats, another customer comes up and asks for a pound of the meat she was currently slicing. Customer service will tell you to take care of customers in the order of arrival. Not according to this place. No, she decided to skip over me and service someone else. I understand that it was probably easier that way - given you might have to clean up between meats, or whatever else. And that's fine - IF YOU COMMUNICATE with the customer. The lady ordering the meat apologized. For reasons? It wasn't her fault. I appreciate it, but unnecessary. Finally after waiting for a longer time, the young woman behind the counter apologized for the delay. There never should have been a delay. Plus the sandwich was lackluster. On those days it's like I just picked it from my garden. The customer service can be exceptional. Most of the employees give great service. However, there is one employee who seems to get testy as she seems to allow her moods to rule how she interacts with customers. She seems to be selective too, as I've seen her treat some customers badly and others well on the same day. She use to be nice with me until one day she accidently short changed me. When I brought it to her attention, she denied it. I smiled and said, "Well it's only a few cents anyway. If you find your register is over at the end of the day, you'll know where it came from." I had given her a quarter; she counted it as a nickel. It's very immature and unprofessional and petty to hold such a grudge, thus I couldn't give 5 stars. But I don't let that stop me from enjoying the good qualities of shopping locally. We are blessed to have a family run produce market in our neighborhood where most of the service providers take pride in their quality goods. They even have a few organic options.
