Best kept secret....Tuscan Garlic Loaf ... this bread has chunks of garlic baked in. You can ask to buy it frozen from the bakery and get the heating instructions ... I think last time it was 350 for 10-14mins (long enough to warm through). Or buy it fresh and have them slice it for you. I ask for regular slices instead of thin. Its a perfect addition to the baked ziti we made. Another great use ... I had a slice with spinach dip today. I usually prefer the softer bread like a kings Hawaiian roll but this held up nicely and I loved the extra flavor it added to the spinach dip. read more

I ordered a Thanksgiving dinner for 3. It was totally not what I expected from Publix.. The mashed potatoes were running and never got thick, the dressing was very mushy. The sides were awful too. Cranberry with orange stuff , marshmallows stuff the boat head turkey was so spicy. Got to tell you I was do disappointed. read more

Belle teer crossing is poorly managed a lot has to do with corporate they push what they want to sell based on vendor rewards things get moved around within aisles and inventory is kept very tight causing out of stock , the bakery needs to mix it up a little by baking new items once in awhile . the deli there consistency on a requested slice sandwich slice thin slice ,very thin varies constantly if I say thin then every time it should be the same and not vary there are settings on their slicers it shouldn't be up to the person slicing to determine what they think thin or very thin is.. and bogus are ok but sometimes people don't need 2 of an item what about just every day low price and add items, I am making these comments based on 38 years inthe supermarket business in New Jersey in both retail and warehouse distribution. read more

What happened to the Pub Sub? Got the Boars Head turkey foot long this evening. Tried the new soft sub roll. Wouldn't recommend. It got super soggy, super fast. Taste was meh. I'm surprised it passed muster to bring to market. The amount of turkey was disappointing. I peeled some off to give my dog a treat, and boy there really wasn't much meat at all. It's 12/1 at 8pm. I got a sub from the deli and the guy who made it was great! The lady named Emily was very ride to him. He was asking her a question while he waited for my sub to toast, and she said "I'm not worried about that customer. I'm worried about the nice lady in front of us." I appreciate that, however there's not much to do with me while waiting for my sub to toast. He asked where the pepper was, and she again was rude about that. Normally I only shop at Publix, but I had to go to Walmart (previously a dreaded experience!) for a new phone a month ago, so I stopped in the supermarket just to see what it was like...I was shocked at the difference in pricing! Same name brands in many cases, and Walmart was a lot - and I mean A LOT...cheaper. Publix is cleaner, probably better organized, but the staff at Walmart is equally friendly. Plus, Walmart doesn't run the misleading buy one / get one offers that Publix does. Many times Publix works off an inflated price to get to the 2/1 offer, so it's really not 2/1. This was a very busy store. The cashier and I had an opportunity to chat and she was wonderful. Publix products are always good quality. I did surprisingly see an employee in the front of the store without a mask. I was happy that most shoppers were wearing masks. This was a vacation pit stop. read more

I don't personally shop at this Publix just the liquor store. I have a kegerator in my garage, I used to drive to Daytona (always down there anyways) to the BIG liquor and wine store there to buy my kegs. I found out my local Publix liquor store carries them also. This store has the most friendliest people, whether a cashier or a customer, every time I walk in, I get smile and friendly conservation. The price difference is about $11 more expensive, but the time it saves, not to mention the beer is still cold when I get back home, I don't even care. Unless they don't have it in stock, I will not go back to Daytona. read more

Publix is hands down a step above other grocery stores in town. Very clean, employees are always friendly and their produce is the freshest around (Asian market is good also for produce ). You will pay more here then at Walmart or Winn dixie. You get what you pay for with meats, produce and seafood. We get our produce and lunch meats from publix as we feel it is the best. The lines are never that long when checking out which is nice. They do not have self check out yet, but hope they incorporate it soon. read more

Today(05/30/2018), I visited Publix at Belle Terre Crossings to pick up a few items for dinner. Once inside the store I realized that I'd left a box of diapers in my car that i'd been intending to exchange for a larger size. Being that it was raining, I decided to first check the diaper aisle to ensure thy had the size I needed before running back into the rain to grab mine. Once I saw they did inded have the size I needed, I grabbed them and placed them in my cart and proceeded to do my shopping before making the exchange. Arriving at the checkout counter, I asked the cashier if I would be able to exchange the size I had for the one in my cart, and she informed me that she wasn't sure, so I would need to ask customer service. Once i'd paid for my items, I went over to customer service and asked the young lady at the desk if I could exchange my diapers for the size I had in my hands and she said. She then held on to the diapers I grabbed from the shelf and I went to my car to get mine. When I got back into the store I realized there were a couple things I forgot and went back to get them, I ended up getting out of the customer service line twice. By the time I made it back to customer service the young lady I spoke to previously was gone and a guy by the name of Kareem took care of me. I informed him of what she and I discussed and he said ok. He exchanged the diapers and rung up the rest of my items for me. As I am about to pay, I was approached by the Assistant Customer Service Manager Kevin Stachurski. Mr. Stachurski did not introduce himself before rudely asking me "When did you purchase these diapers?" I replied to him that I purchased them about a month ago. He then ask if I was sure they came from Publix and I told him yes. He then says " Well see the thing is I watched the camera and I watched you walk in here with no diapers in hand." Me not fully understanding what he meant at the time went on to explain but I was cut of by Mr. Stachurski stating" I watched the camera and you didn't walk in here with diapers, I saw you go and get these off of the shelf." Now that I understand what he is insinuating I am very offended and upset. I then stop Mr. Stachurski of making the false accusations of my trying to steal diapers by explaining to him very thoroughly that " No I did not walk in with diapers because I left them in my car on accident and decided to first check If you all had the size I needed before running back out in the rain to grab my box. Once I saw you all had them, I grabbed the box, did my shopping, checked out and went to customer service to see if the exchange was possible. When the young lady told me I could do, she held onto the size 2 for me while I ran to the car to grab the size 1." After I explained all of this, Mr. stachurski very hesitantly gave Kareem the ok to proceed with the checkout. He did not apologize for falsely accusing me, instead he just walked away. I feel as though my color (African American Female) and my attire had a lot to do with him passing such judgement on me to accuse me of stealing. He didn't even take the time to watch the footage long enough to see me go to customer service the first time and exit the store(with no diapers) and return( with diapers). I have never felt more uncomfortable and embarrassed in my life. I am loyal publix customer, especially this location because its close to my house. This incident makes me never want to step foot in another publix again. Even if he'd apologized for his accusations against me that would have been somewhat better than nothing. I shop a publix because I hold you all to a much higher standard than any other super markets but today with the way I was treated I felt like I probably could have gotten better treatment at Wal Mart read more

As far as grocery stores go Publix is hands down the best I have experiences. Clean, friendly customer service and decent prices. I would give them 5 stars but they changed the way they cook their subs. Used to love their steak and cheese but now they heat it up in what looks like Subways microwave box. Come one man that's sad. And they can't even press their cubans anymore?? Ugh. read more

This Publix is my favorite grocery store in the area! They are so helpful and kind. I just had a Christmas dinner party for the family and the meat department set me up with a couple huge & beautiful prime rib roasts! They also helped me to figure out how much I would need to buy for my big dinner party of 25 people. The prime rib was outstanding! Everyone loved it! Thank you, Publix! I had asked about a specific product not any longer being carried in the store on Tuesday. By Friday of the same week I received a 2nd telephone call from Kelly advising me that the product should be in stock by Monday. Their customer service is by all means the best in Palm Coast. I usually don't have anything negative to say about publix, I rather pay more than go to Walmart and most of the time I have a good experience. For a long time I have been wanting to use my own bags because I really hate to waste all the plastic and I do try to recycle as much as I can. I just had a terrible experience - it has happened before but today was the worse. I bring my own bags (they have nice handles so it is easier to carry them). I asked the young man bagging to please not to make them heavy - I am elderly and cannot lift more than 20 pounds, and that he could use their plastic bags if necessary. Well, I tried to pick one of them and just could not do it so I asked nicely if he could please take some items out and put them in another bag. He proceeded to take things out and add them to one of the others already packed too heavily. I asked for some plastic bags so I could do it myself before transferring from the cart to my trunk. He was kind of ignoring me, so I ripped some off and put them in my cart. When I got home I could not believe how he had packed - the meat was together with the fruit, heavy items on top of fragile ones, the carton of eggs had been packed so badly that some broke.] I hope they train these employees a bit better... read more

One of the CLEANEST most FRIENDLIEST places ever. I am so sad there are none where I live in New York. The shelves are immaculate. A worker goes around all day and undoes what everyone does on the shelves. They put back everything so neatly it looks fake ! The food they have cooking there is always good and they have a recipe for you to take home. Publix brand food and especially the bread is amazing. Since they remodeled things have gone down hill. They do not carry imported cheeses, prosciutto, mortadella, any of the Sabra dips and many more,including freezer items. Furthermore the quality of the fresh produce has really deteriorated, I have been throwing out spinach, lettuce, Campari tomatoes,peppers and so on.
