This particular Publix location is in the SODO part of Orlando not far from the hospital and while the parking lot was sizable, parking was a bit tough because the store was rather busy with shoppers. Publix has become an iconic supermarket chain here in the southeastern United States. I would have to attribute their success to several things, though most notably I would point to their amazing customer service. In addition, Publix has some great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, clean, bright locations good quality bread in their bakery (something someone from the northeast like myself can appreciate) and we cannot forget their fantastic subs, which are affectionately called Pub subs. Unlike other supermarkets, Publix has a good number of cashiers so long lines in Publix are rather rare. I like that Publix understands that by putting the customers first, Publix has flourished. I would recommend this particular location. As I had said, parking can be a bit rough, but even if it is busy, they will get you out in a timely manner.

Dropping off prescriptions

This Publix stays busy. This is one of the only publix's that I know that have Chinese. It is also the closest Publix to me that has a pharmacy, and if you didn't know some prescriptions like antibiotics they will fill for free. I have never had any problems at this Publix I used to go there on the regular because it was close to my job. The only downside I would have to say is the parking. Since it stays busy there is never any parking.

No body was there for more than 15 minutes

This type of reviews Only the owners of the business premises do not care about the employees, so what happens to me today happens a manager ignored me completely listened to me and did not answer me and did not answer anything did not solve my problem I had Waiting for someone to come to realize that I had time waiting and attended to me. When the manager passed by I told him I have more than 15 minutes waiting here and nobody attends me he saw my face he said nothing to me and ignored me completely. Because of this poor customer service, people start worrying. This does not matter to employees. Only people who own business premises care about them.

couldn't they see the bug on there before closing the container???

I just bought a "smoothie mix four berry small" from this location. I open up the container and see this... I immediately call the store and tell them about my situation and all they said was "sorry about that, you can come in and get a refund or a replacement." even after I told the gentleman on the phone that my lunch break had ended and I couldn't return it to the store. He didn't even offer me a refund. Don't they see the berries before putting the lid on? i'm disgusted.

Wonderful Chinese food selection ..fried plantains also available.

I love the deli. Mmmm Chinese food is the best, hard to find it online, but they do have it. Customer support told me to look at the 436 location and they have it online but I couldn't find it so here is a picture

They have got to expensive, every week they are raising prices. Only go for BOGO's then you still have to be careful of what you get.

We went on a Sunday and the parking lot was packed so we had to circle to find a spot. Luckily, there seem to always be people coming AND going so it only took a few minutes. Freshfields Farm is split up into 3 distinct areas - the fresh meat store, the fresh produce store, and the ice cream (and hot dog) window. We decided to head to the meat entrance first. The area is not that big but it is just lots of selections of fresh meat, cheese and butter. The meats seemed to be pretty good prices, slightly below Publix where I normally shop. There was ground beef, turkey, steak, chicken and seafood. Plus some huge cuts of meat like picanha and ribs. If you are going to have a BBQ, this is the place to go. Also, workers were constantly bringing out new packages and some people were waiting for them. I picked up 2 pounds of ground beef and some boneless, skinless chicken breasts. The cashiers were nice and super quick. Then we headed outside and then next door to the produce section. Basically the same as the meat department but filled with produce. There were bins of fresh strawberries when we walked in as well as avocados, a whole section of bananas and plantains, rainbow carrots, and even full cacao pods! I'm guessing they just showcase fresh seasonal produce so for example, while there were fresh plums, I didn't see navel oranges. There was also a fridge case full of squeezed juices and lemonades. And a big section of various types of mushrooms. I got a package of sliced cantaloupe and a big pack of 30 eggs. We checked out the ice cream window, which looked super yummy but because we hadn't eaten lunch yet, we decided we'll come back another time to try it.

However, they have truly embraced the times and stepped up to coordinate one of the most seamless order pick ups with far more options than they can normally house in their store location in collaboration with their local farm suppliers. It was a really great way to get access to local food in a time when innovation is most appreciated as is the ability to access fresh food when the normal grocery stores are overwhelmed with visitors. I will definitely continue to support this great local business that has made things easier in a time when many things are harder. Edit: apparently the store front has closed (unrelatedly- they announced this coming change on January 8th due to a failed lease renewal) but the business is still running through their pick up at 8505 Silver Star Rd and online ordering. The system was actually designed prior to these times and just happened to line up perfectly). I went as soon as they opened because most people are not out and about that early in the morning on a Sunday. Good thing I did because you can no longer make the left turn on Turkey Lake and you have to go to the next light to u-turn. While I do prefer the Winter Park location (as it is also near some other eateries and shopping areas), this location is the one nearest to my home. It is located off a busy thoroughway, so it does get a little tricky to get here at times. There's a good amount of parking. It does, like most of their locations, get pretty busy, but for the most part, you can usually always find parking. The staff is kind and helpful (when and if needed). The food options/varieties are great! As with their other locations, they offer various cuisine types for just about everyone. This is also inclusive of their dining options (i.e., their hot and cold bars, bakery, and the like). They have a range of household items, personal care items, toiletries, groceries, and so forth. So, again, you can usually find most of what you need. As far as their dining options go, I've gotten a hot lunch from Whole Foods on numerous occasions. I never eat there, but you can if you'd like, as they have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating options to enjoy your meal. I'm usually not disappointed with the options. I also really enjoy a number of their soup options. The bakery is probably my favorite section! I'm always leaving Whole Foods with something sweet. Nonetheless, Whole Foods is a great shopping experience. Again, they are pricey and are usually pretty busy, but it's usually always worth it.
