The boiled peanuts were one day expired and they were cheaper because of it!!!!! The chicken was completely rotten , actually more than ROTTEN!! Publix was actually making you buy more than you need , I was just shopping for pickles when I found a buy one get one free I was going to get it when I saw the Publix pickles they were cheaper and you get a perfect amount!!!! By the way I was going to get a cookie when I saw that they didn't have any!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!! WORST PUBLIX EVER!!!!! A grocery store should always be clean, organized & well stocked. Quality control should be the upmost! Seeing food that is rotten or spoiled is not pleasant. This is suppose to be Publix " where shopping is a pleasure" As I was shopping earlier I noticed this rotten package of (Publix brand)Prosciutto, Capicola And Italian Dry Salami in the refrigerated cooler by the deli. I don't know how no one noticed this, it was beyond obvious. The color of the meat is brown. Deli Manager, Store manager or whoever is in charge of the refrigerated coolers by the deli- need to really check the packaged foods. It says (Best By- Nov 2020) ??Come on Publix you guys have to do better! This is just unacceptable and GROSS!! Well this is my publix. This Plaza is located by Miramar Parkway and a little 184th Ave. Close by Sunset Lakes. This publix is well lit, clean, organized and always well stocked. Never gets really busy (and if they do get busy, they are pretty efficient) There is always plenty of parking even during peak hours. read more

Every time I shop at the Publix next to my house on 184th in Miramar it brings back memories of how awful the service is at the deli department. I have lived in several states and shopped at Safeway, Kroger's, and many other Publix, the service has been the same since I moved here 10 years ago. Quiet nights at the market are the best. When all the busyness of the day is tucked away and shopping can be done in peace. I like this location for the variety of plants they have to choose from. It's just like me to buy a plant while shopping for my groceries. I guess they keep me company while I shimmy up and down the isles. Every employee that works here is always friendly, helpful and seem happy to be at work. They know how to service their customers and make us feel valued. This location hasn't let me down. The one thing I wish for Publix locations in general is that they install places to return the carts. After packing my car with my groceries I'd like to have a safe place to put my cart instead of walking back to the front of the store to drop it off. read more

Everyone has their "own" Publix. This one is "my" Publix - and aside from the familiarity & proximity, I still vote for it as the best Publix in Miramar. Never gets super busy, but still really well maintained. Always clean, always stocked. The management here must be great, bc regardless of the time of day (we go at all hours), the staff is always really helpful & attentive. It's in a small strip mall, so even the parking is convenient, since no other business competes for space. Even if you live in the vicinity of the Publix on Pines & 184th, or Pines & near 75 (which might be a bigger location), coming to this location is worth the trip. read more

I typically stop at this Publix in Sunset Lakes before visiting my sister and her family. I don't like going empty-handed, so I stop at their bakery and buy a few other things throughout the store. This store is flawless! Everything is right where it ought to be. The aisles are spacious and they must have a night crew who stocks the shelves, as I haven't run into any that can often get in the way. All of the areas: Deli, Meat, Seafood, Dairy, etc. is what you would expect from the chain grocer, including the associates, who stand out in their service. One of the areas they strive to excel in is their decorative displays. I noticed they set up a Tailgate Party display that is super cool! Today, Chuchi took care of me in the bakery. She saw me glancing around the baked goods and offered help. They had a variety of small pies, and one in particular caught my eye: Guava pie! We like everything guava, but this was a first for us. I hesitated though, as the sticker had a little guava on it and it was the last one. Chuchi took it and reprinted a label. Salivating a piece of pie, I went straight to checkout. Elizabeth was pleasant and intuitive in asking if I wanted her to trash the receipt inside my reusable bag--I did! When she rung me up, I was pleasantly surprised that the pie was BOGO! So I left with pumpkin pie for my brother-in-law, guava for us, and cookies for the kids. It was a great finish to one of many fantastic ones here! read more

My favorite Publix ever! Of course, this is my neighborhood Publix so I frequent here at least 3 times a week. But the staff are super friendly, they know my name and are always helpful whenever I can't find something and the ladies at the bakery always give my son an extra cookie ;) I know Publix is pretty much a staple in south Florida and we all go here pretty regularly but the one at sunset lakes is special. The salads are always fresh, the catering is always yummy and ready on time and the store is always clean. Love this place, the selection and the People! read more

More towards the Deli of this location, it could use improvement within the customer service. Multiple occasions where we had to wait too long when there were not many people in line for deli meats and the sandwich counter. This recent experience we ordered 3 pub subs through online to get a faster wait. We got there about 20 minutes after the order was placed and they were not ready, the woman at the counter was just putting on her gloves to begin them. There was nobody waiting at the counter yet therefore we would've had a faster experience if we just ordered in person. She took roughly about 25 minutes to complete the 3 subs as she was doing them altogether. people got in line to order and got it faster than us waiting for an online order. when I finally open my subs some of the toppings were missing. The woman at the counter was working extremely slow and this is not the first time this has happened. so either we order online and wait or order in person and still wait. I understand it is an extremely busy section, but the continuous experiences of waiting for someone to take care of our order is out of hand. Hope this can improve soon. read more

I really enjoy coming to this location. It's close to my house and always has parking. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help me when I need assistance shopping. When I'm buying several groceries I usually go to Walmart since its substantially more affordable. That's slowly starting to change. When I want to get in and out quickly and not have to deal with terrible service, I come to Publix. Publix is very organized, so it's much easier to find the things you need here. The Publix brand lemonade will forever have a place in the deepest part of my heart. It's so tasty and fresh!! I always buy my pre-cooked whole chicken here because it's fresh and stays longer in the fridge. I really like that they have pre seasoned fresh meat and fish that you can pop in the oven without having to season. As we all know, Publix is expensive compared to other grocery stores, however, the amazing customer service, clean store, and customer friendly isles, make it worth it every extra penny. read more

It really is a pleasure to shop at Publix. Even at this one, which I've officially named "The Mystery Publix". Basically, it's located so far west on Miramar Parkway that, if you didn't live out there, or if you didn't already know it existed, you may never know that one of the friendliest, cleanest Publix Grocery Stores in the area is sitting right there. Publix Fried Chicken is easily a contender for the best fried chicken around. You can google blog entries about their chicken. There are people who stand in line and wait fifteen minutes for it! (me). This Publix is well maintained, well stocked and always has friendly staff on hand. The shopping center has a gas station (one of only TWO west of 75 in the Miramar corridor) and a great little pizza place called "Joes"....order your pizza, go grab a few things at Publix, then head home. If only Publix could be open 24 hours, it would be absolutely perfect. read more

This is my work Publix. Located right around the corner from my office it is very convenient to run in and find a healthy snack or meal. The store is usually not crowded during the day, actually it seems pretty slow. I do not shop here for groceries for home, just a bite to eat while working. The deli staff is very slow and usually seems to screw up my order. There screw up usually work in my favor somehow complementing my wrap or sandwich, bottom line is I rarely get what I order and the service at lunch is slow. If you have the availability to order online, do it, much easier than waiting in line. Otherwise the staff is friendly and the is very clean. read more

Great location fast service! If you want a grocery store that has about 30 people or less seven days a week; then this is the place to go to. Friendly staff. One staff member in the grocery section taught me how to ripen an avocado. (Put the avocado in a brown bag. Fold the top of bag 3 times. Check every day for your ripened avocado). They also give out free food every day around lunch time at a designated concession stand in the store. Free recipes available as well. Store very clean! This Publix is minutes from my home so it is very convenient. The plaza is pretty easy to get in and out of as well in the Monarch Lakes shopping plaza. The reception for cell phones is terrible once you enter the doors, the roof must be made of 12" steel panels and poured concrete, but they do offer free wifi as long as you accept their terms of service... read more

I placed an order in the bakery to pick up in the morning. I show up for the order, no one has a clue about my order. One of the staff members tried to argue with me stating my order is for the next day and then realized he had me confused with someone else. Instead of trying to help me out, I get questioned on what time I called and who I spoke to. I even showed my call log and confirmed that this is the stores phone number. Maybe if the staff handled the situation better and had offered to help me I wouldn't be bothered by the situation. I still love Publix bakery, just not this Publix. read more
