Everything looked fine but tasted terrible. Disgusting Bakery- I ordered a few cakes & dessert platter days before new years. They must've pulled the order way in advance because everything was hard stale and tasteless. Disgusting Deli - to the deli the worker was nice but, it was really disorganized. I showed up 30 minutes after pick up time and my order still wasn't ready. The ring leader sandwich bread was super dry some of the fruits on the platter were old. I usually go to a different Publix which is further and less full but, I figured I would take a chance on this one. Super disappointed not a great way to start the new year. Feel bad serving this to tasteless food to guest and wasted money. Also, one of my cakes was smashed when I got home - I'm pretty sure it was the cashier assistant who placed it poorly in the cart. read more

At 9:00am I went to purchase a small, round birthday cake at the Publix Paradise Lakes location, in West Kendall, Florida, only to find sheet cakes, maybe 3 in the cooler. I asked if they had any small round cakes and was pointed to the cake slices! Really? I asked if I could order one for the afternoon and was told no. They don't take same day orders. First time I experience this. I went to another Publix and they took my order and had my cake by 12 noon! They were super busy preparing desserts but they did not hesitate to greet me and provide an excellent service. read more

Don't ever go after 7 to get a sub or to get tenders because they're always will say that they out of bread or the tenders and when you place the order online they make the order.its not the first time that this has happen the lady told me they didn't have tenders because she thought I was going to order a sub but the guy next to her when I went again told me they did have it but it was "cold " at 7 how it that possible if the store close at 10 ? read more

This is our local Publix. The selection and inventory is in line with other Publix markets. We are usually able to find almost everything we need on a consistent basis. The aisles are neat and orderly and the staff are helpful in finding things. Given this location is in West Kendall, there is a good supply of latin foods & ingredients. read more

Yesterday I went to get my water as I go every week. I like the layout of this Publix. It has a redbox to rent movies inside. Their sushi bar is neat and the food is delicious. The lady that helped me in the customer service desk was very nice with me and I got what I wanted. This Publix also has, pharmacy, bakery and they sell lotto. Their produce are fresh and placed in a beautiful and such an organized way. Great for Wendy's eyes!! See you next week for more water and wherever else I have in my list! My review is based on the pharmacy. The manager assistant has the nastiest attitude. I will not return to this pharmacy, I much rather go next door to CVS and not have to deal with her. Got my Publix sale paper today, went to the deli to get the fish deli meal advertised. They did not have any of the 3 specials - no grouper, no catfish and no cod. They are a supermarket? They SELL grouper, catfish and cod, how is it that the deli doesn't have them? Why advertise items that you don't have? The counter person didn't know if they had them and sold out, or if they would have them tomorrow............ Was going to get those and so some shopping but just left - empty handed. read more

Yet another Publix. Surprisingly though, this one stands above others. This particular location is clean, well-stocked, and organized. This is the type of Publix that makes shopping there a pleasure as you're in and out in a snap. On the off chance that you cannot find something on your own, the employees are attentive and kind. Parking is ample, as well, so you shouldn't have problems. There are also a bunch of services available, including coin conversion and RedBox. If in the neighborhood, it's definitely worth a visit. If only all Publix stores were like this one. read more

This review is on the Public Pharmacy. I have never needed to get medication in my life so when my doctor prescribed some I was a little nervous! Heading to Publix, I stood in front of the counter for a few minutes but no one greeted me or asked if I needed help. I have noticed that this behavior happens most of the time I go there even for refills. They do not explain which medication does what so I had to go home and Google. Would enjoy the experience more if customer service was better and I did not feel like a number every time I went there. read more

As hurricane Dorian was on its way and everyone was out hunting and gathering just before the storm it makes you feel good when people show you they care. The lines are long and everyone is worry trying to find what they need. We stopped at this specific publix on the way already from another store already tired just ready to go home and call it a day. And you will think she's going to tell us something extraordinary but is the little things at least to me that matters. In the lane checking out, nice man helping to bag, my two grandchildren in the cart and he said...do you mind if I give them coloring pages and crayons? Wait what, publix have this? Never knew, I said yes and thank him, the kids were ready to color immediately and they too smiled. My point is than in all the craziness there are still people out there that think outside the box and with a simple act bring normalcy back into your life, again is the little things. Is hard to find people that want to work this days but onto of that to have the initiative to think....let's keep those kids busy....priceless. This publix gets an A+ from me. read more

I used to live the the neighborhood and a few years later, I found myself back in town and visiting my old publix... oh the memories! Ok, maybe not so many fond memories, but going to publix is what kept me nourished for so many years... it was my go to place for everything from milk, dog food and flan, to deodorant, scotch tape and toilet paper, so I have appreciation for it. I was happy to find out that they have embraced organic produce, which wasn't the case when I lived in Miami. Everything was sparkling clean, except for some flies in the fruit section (hmm..). I just have a lot of appreciation for this place. Over the years I had gotten to know some of the cashiers and grocery baggers. Nice people work at this location. Maybe I had too much wine tonight. May I make a suggestion to Publix headquarters in Lakeland, FL? Please...please don't ever put a Publix next to a middle school ever again. Why, you ask? I walked in today at about 330, 4pm...Right about the time the middle school around the corner lets out. Kids could be going to the rest of the stores at this shopping center, they could be going to the library. But where did they all seem to wait for their parents to pick them up? That's right, Publix. Where shopping is a NOT a pleasure. At least not Mon-Fri after school. Swarms of loud, awkward tweens buzzing around the store...and even an incident in the ladies' bathroom involving a boy and a girl who were apparently gettin' all lewd and lascivious. Awesome. This is my local Publix. I'm usually here about 4 or 5 times a week getting random things I need for dinner or a sweet tooth when I have one. It's a bit smaller than your normal Publix and it hasn't been renovated as the other have but it gets the job done. It is always packed so I tend to avoid the area if possible on Saturday afternoons. One thing about this Publix that makes it stand out from the rest is the wine selection. The wine selection is on point here. I wasn't expecting it. So are there better Publix's in the area? Yes. But this one is so close (I can walk there) that I'll be a customer for the forseeable future! read more

I have shopped at this Publix for 27 years and recently I have had so many poor experiences I prefer to find another grocery store to shop in. Shelves have little stock (while other Publix's are well stocked), produce is rotten and not removed off the shelves, products are past their expiration date and not removed from the shelves, they are refusing to return any items for any reason (due to COVID) even if the product is bad or expired, but worst of all is the snippy and aggressive behavior of "some" of the employees (Nicole the cashier is very unpleasant!) I remember the slogan "Publix, where shopping is a pleasure!" This no longer applies. I'm so disappointed that COVID has become an excuse for poor manners and respect! read more

The Deli at this Publix has to be the worst in Miami. It seems the more number of people are waiting. the slower the workers seem to move. Forget any sense of urgency. I don't think anyone could place condiments on a sub in a more deliberate manner. It takes a good 5 minutes for them to cut a 1/2 pound of deli meat. Lack of management? Not my usual Publix to go to, but I happened to be around the are at Island Restaurant. This Publix was so packed! Things that would take 5 minutes at my usual publix took so long here! 20 minutes to get some Boar's head jerk turkey, then another 10 minutes to check out the 5 items I had?? There was only 1 person in front of me at the cash register, I just don't understand what the hold up was. Everything seemed dirty, and the air felt musty and stale. I like to shop at this publix because it has a nice layout and is a bigger store. The one major problem I have with this Publix is the deli. Each time I shop and I forget to order my deli meats through the online ordering system it costs me at least an extra 30mins of my time. There was one time I waited 25 minutes to even be acknowldeged and served. This particular time there was only 2 other people in front me. The workers seemed to be moving at turtle pace. There was a Manager working but half way through my waiting she disappeared to the back. The other two people working were just moving slow even though there were numerous people waiting. It was a Friday afternoon around 5 so I thought more people would be working. Today I had yet another disappointing experience. I ordered two subs through the online ordering system. One sub I asked for a half and no mayo. They gave me a whole and put lots of mayo on the sub. The second sub I asked for white bread and they gave me the 5 grain bread. I was home once I realized the mistakes so I was not interested in going back. I hope this Publix is able to correct the problems in the deli because I do enjoy shopping there. read more

This is my favorite Publix!! Down from NYC visiting family and this is where I prefer to shop when I'm in town. Though I only shop at Whole Foods back home. They carry all my favorite items and love how friendly they are. I had an incident walking out and dropped my 35oz Greek yogurt and they were so great to replace it. This is my usual Publix and it's always very neat and organized. Even when busy, they usually have a lot of registers open so no complaints on that end. I have had a couple issues when ordering from the Bakery, they seem to be unorganized and have messed up two of my orders, but thankfully an employee named Angel has saved the day on both occasions. Their bakery items are delicious and well priced, so I wouldn't say not to order but maybe double and triple check they have the right pick up time or just ask for Angel. read more

This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Other Publix locations do not have this problem. I have had some of their employees give me attitude in person and today I had a man hang up on me! After being put on hold by the same guy three times when he finally picks up I kindly tell him, "Sir I know you're busy but my doctor sent my antibiotic at 2pm. It is 6pm and someone just told my husband that it would be another hour and a half." HE HUNG UP ON ME. What kind of people does Publix have working there? Who manages that location? My husband went back and kindly explained to him that I was getting worst and really needed the medicine. He told him there were "50 people in front of him, nothing you could do". I'm sorry but those 50 people are not pleading to you that they are getting worst by the minute! I always dealt with the attitude but today was completely unacceptable. Bought shellfish here. I was reluctant, as it turns out, for good reason. Got it home and simply put, YUCK! Pungent iodine smell and the meat was mushy. I still give a 4 star rating. I brought my receipt and no Q's asked, refunded my $$$. Publix is amazing in almost every aspect. read more

This has been my Publix since it opened. Although the selection is not the best, it was close and the people nice. The deli is the worst. They are constantly talking amongst themselves. No eye contact when you are waiting. I always get a number. Today I got a number and waited 15 minutes. I wanted a sub. Mind you, i have waited in line before to buy a sub always with a number, in fact the previous week. Apparently there is another line for subs no number needed and the lady wanted me to move to the back of the other line. There were six workers. She could have helped. Not only is this grocery conveniently located across the street from us, the store is always clean, with wonderful produce. The sushi is very good considering where it's from, and the bakery has amazing lemon cupcakes. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We enjoy having a HIGI machine so close by! read more

Ok so well all know Publix. You can count about 3 within 10 miles from where you live. I dont expect the older Publix's to have all the inventory like the newer, bigger ones but I did walk in there last night hoping to find something simple. Had to go shopping for a girl's wine night last night and I was in charge of the cheese. There is this one brand of cheese that I have found in just about every supermarket and was expecting it to find it in the Hammocks Publix. I normally dont come here but since it was on the way, I thought why not. I should have stuck with my gut instinct and just go to my normal Publix because I did not find the cheese. In fact my whole experience here was not good. The lines were WAYYY too long and had only about 3 cash registers open. They should know that on evenings, around 7, people will be doing their grocery shopping. Had to get bread sliced at the bakery and was greeted by rude bakers. Uggh everything about this Publix just gets me upset. I feel bad for anyone who uses this Publix on a normal basis. read more

This is the worst customer service care at night. I went to buy my husband and I a late night sub around 8pm. The chicken tender sub was on special for 5.99. I made the chicken tender sub without heating it up. The deli associate marked the chicken tender sub as if were heated up. Prepared food is not the same as "hot" subs. I've never had an issue with buying this sub with my EBT card but since they associates were incompetent of inputing the correct code to print out the correct label, I had to speak to customer service about changing the label. Karina and Oscar helped and had no idea how to help. They kept relying on the one deli associate that did not know how to do her job. In the end, I paid more for the sub than I should have. They charged me $7 for a sub on special for 5.99. Karina kept repeating herself how I can not pay food that is heated, when clearly I understand that and did not heat my food. I even instructed them to open the sub and see if it's heated. Karina had no clue what she was doing, and Oscar resolved the issue by printing out a label that was more expensive than the actual promotion. If Publix wanted to do special promotions, then they should educate their employees. I worked for Publix for 5 years and I know it is possible to print out a label for a chicken tender sub that passes with food stamps. read more
