For a publix smaller than the ones I've gone to in Augusta and South Carolina, I was surprised this one had much of the items I always look for in stock. For example, their Ghughes sugar free sweet chili sauce is such a rare find in most Publix I've visited, but this location had plenty of stock. When it came to chips like the chocolate rice cake minis, it's another item I deem hard to find, but there were plenty in stock here! Overall, the produce section and bakery looked fresh and pretty stocked when I checked in the evening. Their facilities were pretty clean and employees seemed friendly & helpful. There is also a Tesla charger sharing the same parking lot, so great opportunity to charge your Tesla while grocery shopping or kill some time in Publix while charging. read more

This review is specifically for the Deli. I visited yesterday for groceries and saw that the Deli has a vegan option (turkey club) using light life bacon, tofurky turkey, and follow your heart cheese. However, there were a few problems with this vegan option. First, they were out of vegan ranch, second if I didn't request that my sub be toasted then the vegan bacon would've been uncooked which is highly advised against according to the instructions light life provides. Finally, if the vegan ranch were available I'm not sure if that would've made the sandwich taste better. Honestly, it just didn't go together. I suggest finding another alternative for the cheese option, maybe a vegan provolone or anything but cheddar. Also, substitue the lightlife bacon for their tempeh and please be aware of the instructions for any plant based meat before throwing it on a sandwich. The speed at which the employees at the sandwich making stand is beyond unacceptable I watched two employees literally move the same speed as molasses making subs with absolutely zero urgency with a line thats almost out the main door. The boarshead meat is a must. The cuts are always thick and the Swiss cheese upgrades the sand which. When I visited on NYE 2021 everyone was stocking up for their home parties that night. I came to the store to order some chicken from the hot bar and was not serviced. I waited in line 7 to 10 mins and no one greeted me. A customer behind me had to find an employee. Thankful someone came to help. All of the items on the bar looked old and a fly was circling over the food. I asked to speak to a manager, Nick Sewell. He states the cook was on a smoke break but will me willing to drop fresh chicken. I asked could he assist and he stated he was off. This is not the Publix way. Was there today to buy a few things. I remember the days when you would go into Publix and always receive friendly courteous service. Well, I guess times are tough and it's hard to find good help these days. The cashier was a young girl who looked miserable and never opened her mouth once. No hello from her or any kind of greeting, and not even a thank you once I paid and got my receipt. To top it all off, she had an earpiece in her ear and was talking on the phone the entire time she was ringing me up. It's sad to see how much the quality of service has declined over the years. I was in line purchasing a few items which one was an anniversary card for my wife . Publix was the first store I've seen with Lesbian cards and I was excited to purchase this card . As I was in line and the cashier was ringing my items up she took it upon herself to read my card out loud with patrons behind me and say I quote out loud " My coworker works her just got married and this would be a prefect card for her and her wife . The Lithonia , Panola Road Publix's, I purchased a sub- sandwich online. my attempt to receive the order was a nightmare. The store does not have a worker assigned to the pick up area: because the per paid sandwiches are behind the counter a worker is needed to obtain the sandwich. After waiting 15 minutes and asking 2 different people for my sandwich, I was told they were out of the meat for my sandwich. I waited another few minutes for a different person to make and bring a different sandwich. i got home to fine bread too hard to eat. I called the store manager and Deli manger. Let me start off by saying as long as I'm in this area, I will not shop at another grocery store. I just went here for the first time today and boy did they make a good impression! I'm talking from the parking lot! An employee greeted my boyfriend and me before we even hit the side walk, commented on our outfits, just so friendly! We walked into the place and I was smacked immediately by an aroma from the deli. I don't even know what it was but it smelled heavenly. The store was clean, organized, and the shelves were actually stocked! There was such a wide variety of everything too. I just wanted to get some taco ingredients and they made it difficult! So many options with everything lol I loved it. And they had a West Indian section which I've never seen before. Maybe a few items but never a dedicated section. This store is right by my house so I'm always in and out of here. Everything is great about the store to me except their deli department. This is my second time in less than a month having a problem in their deli. Tonite the workers seemed mad that I wanted a flatbread at 9:30pm. Two weeks ago I ordered 50 wings (will never do this ever again those wings were super huge) and they messed up my whole order, they didn't have buffalo sauce so they just gave me plain fried wings with no seasoning no sauce or nothing.
