The staff at this Publix is very friendly, the store is clean, the bathrooms are clean, they have a flower shop, bakery & pharmacy. Staff will go in the back and look for items that are not on the shelf to see of they have it in stock. Publix provides white glove service, they will help you to your car with your groceries & even load them in the car. Publix is definitely a lot more expensive than other grocery stores, however, the quality of food that you receive especially in the meat & produce section is fresher. The pharmacy is very slow. Prescriptions are never ready and it's very difficult to reach someone by phone about your prescription status.

This is one of the worse Publix in town. They never have what you need and all the manager is give you is " i apologize" I should not have to go to the White neighborhood for the groceries that I want when I own a home in this neighborhood it's pitiful. This Publix Deli department never makes any orders on time! If you order a sandwich and pay for it online it should be done at your pick up time! If my pick up time is 1:00 PM why do I have to wait 30 minutes to an hour every single day when I get there! Sometimes they haven't even started making the sandwich! Pretty good store and in a convenient location. This store is typically always busy so I recommend that you come first thing in the morning if possible. If you don't, be prepared for long lines that go into the aisles. As long as you don't come during a busy time, you can expect to see fully stocked aisles and able to find whatever you need with ease. I enjoy this location because it is generally less crowded than the Camp Creek Marketplace store. I always find great BOGO deals here & they are usually stocked up on most things. Depending on where you go & what time of day, the deli may start to run out of some items, but the staff is so kind that I never mind making any substitutions. I tried this location opposed to the one off camp creek just due to wanting to avoid traffic. It's about the same 15 minute drive however they both have major differences. For starters this location keeps their shelves fully stocked which is a plus whereas the other sometimes I have to make several stops at other locations for things normally at Publix. They salmon fillets at the seafood department did not look appealing and the cuts were really small so I opted to get the salmon selects and just picked out pieces even though it cost a little more. Biggest drawback was the employees I'm use to friendly helpful Publix employees not gossiping teens more worried about each other and other things rather than me when I was asking for help. I was really disappointed by that. Overall I would prefer this location because I was able to get my full list from one place but I may continue going to the other. I'll give this one a few more tries though hopefully management gets everything together. read more

Hey. What can I say? It's Publix. Everything is done well at this location, just as it is at the rest of their stores. They have everything that you need here. Including some hard to find items that you may have tried while overseas. Some French, Mexican and even Caribbean treats can be found at most Publix stores. At one point I would get these items from a store called World Plus Market but now Publix has most of the foreign sweet treats that I like. The wine list is very impressive for a grocery store. Not as good as Trader Joe's but still nice and you don't have to drive far to find a Publix. The only thing that I can never find at Publix are my favorite brand of grits and wild rice. Other than that I do most of my shopping at Publix. I have been here several times but the store had not been added so when i tried to "Check In" I could not. You wouldn't even think that you would come across a plaza where it's located. This store is located at the corners of Campbellton Fairburn Road and South Fulton Parkway in Fairburn. There is also a McDonald's, Zaxby's, Liquor store and a Mexican restaurant along with a few other business's in this plaza as well. This Publix Super Market is pretty big. The aisles are wide open unlike Stop and Shop here up north in my area. We camped for TomorrowWorld and this Publix Super Market was just 15 mins away from the camp site. We loved their red potatoes salad and coleslaw. They were nicely packed and perfect to bring to the campsite with us for our dinner. Wings were pretty good too. I just wanted to keep walking around the market. The deli staff is ridiculous. My husband went in at 8:42pm on a Thursday to order a philly cheestake. The young lady making the subs said "he already closed the grill". I was upset because the deli closes at 9:00pm. After he came back to the car, I went into the store and reluctantly ordered a cold sub (since that's all that they were offering). I asked was there any smoked turkey and the young lady said "yea, but I'll have to cut it" (as if she'd prefer not to) so I just got the regular turkey...I was not happy or impressed with the staff on how they deal with customers. The store is great, i have no complaints about it. But the deli however, they are so slow! It takes them forever to do anything at all. It doesnt matter if you're the only person there or if one person is ahead of you, it'll still take you 30 minutes to get a sub made. I live close by and I come here almost everyday. I love this place. Shopping really is a pleasure. Staff is friendly and managers are always making sure enough registers are open if lines get too long. Produce is fresh, sandwiches are good and I've order birthday cakes from the bakery on several occasions. I haven't had a bad experience since they opened. Their prices are a bit higher than Walmart but it is well worth it in my opinion. Make sure you check out their by one get one deals (mostly on Wednesdays) .. Again I love this place. read more

This is my absolute favorite Publix. Shopping really is a pleasure here. While there are a number of features common to most Publix stores, this Publix is my fave for several reasons. I have been shopping at this store since it opened years ago, and I honestly cannot think of one negative experience I've ever had. Everyone is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The cashiers, managers, stock guys- everyone- is pleasant and helpful. On numerous occasions, I have been asked if I needed help with anything, and the person took me where I needed to go. Also, I have asked a young man stocking shelves for help and he cheerfully stopped what he was doing to take me to the aisle/item I needed. One of my greatest pet peeves is terrible service and team members. You won't find either here!! read more

I ended up at Publix for lunch because for one, I was in the middle of nowheresville. The options I had was Zaxby's, Subway, a Mexican restuarant, and a Chinese restaurant. Not bumping the other options but I only had an hour lunch. I was trying to beat the large crowd of people that was coming for lunch the same time I was coming from the same place I was at for meetings. So I thought it was best to go to Publix deli and get a sandwich. The line wasn't long but service was slow. I forgive them because they're not use to a lunch crowd like that. They realized that and apologized to everybody. Publix was offering the Boar's Head Jerk Turkey with spicy gouda so I ordered that along with some kettle chips and a soda. The jerk turkey was pretty tasty. My only suggestion is they should have a sitting area so you can eat your lunch there. A few Publix's have that, this one should its in the middle of nowhere. I ended up eating my lunch in my car :(. I doubt I'll be back because I'm not near there but its not a bad. read more

Best grocery store ! Even though the prices are high, items are always stocked. If not there is always someone from that department (even in the aisles) that will go get the item in the back for you or they will n know if it's out. Every week the BOGO sales are amazing ! If you only buy one of them you get it half off which is amazing. The people who cook in the deli and make hot sandwiches are great. The line is always long and they are sorta slow but I always order then go pick up my sandwich at the end. Love coming here! read more

Worst Publix experience I have ever had. I usually go to a different Publix that's a little closer to my house and I thought I'd try this one since it's a little bigger and I was down near this store. I had multiple coupons and some with a rain check. The rain check was from a different store and they had labeled the info wrong and of course this Publix wouldn't honor it. Okay I get that. No biggie. I'll live. Then came a store coupon. Publix has never made you have one store coupon per item. Manufacturers coupons, yes. Store coupons, no. Apparently this store manager says you have to have a store coupon for each item. Well they went ahead and honored my one store coupon for four of the same item. Then there was the biggie. I had coupons for Kellogg's cereal. It's a higher dollar coupon that expires the end of August. ($3 off any one Kellogg item) so I was getting my kids some cereal, pop tarts and nutri grain bars. Once it came time to ring everything up, a manager comes over. Looks up the coupon and tells me I can't use it because the website says it's invalid. What??? It's a Manufacturers coupon and I just used the coupons at a different Publix a few days ago with no issues. So, I put all the Kellogg's stuff back on the counter and said to take it off. They didn't even want to give me my coupons back. Then the manager and cashier informed the customer behind me that I was trying to use fraudulent coupons and they apologized for taking so long. I then explained to her what was going on. They treated me like a thief and a law breaker which I most definitely am not. I can guarantee you that I will NEVER grace this Publix with my presence again. I spend $200-$300 a week in groceries and sometimes more (I have four kids at home) and they treated me like a common thief. The customers around me that heard what happened also agreed that they will also go to a different Publix from now on. We're in Douglasville, Publix are a dime a dozen.
