I pre-ordered some diced sushi grade tuna to make homemade Ahi Poke! I was amazed at the quality: taste, color, texture, tenderness...it was the best Ahi Poke I have ever had! Midtown Butcher Shoppe just earned exclusivity for any tuna purchases in the future!!

They not only have incredible fresh cuts of meats & fresh seafood but they have the best prepared meals. Chicken Parmesan is my favorite- so far. Lol. Everything is freshly made from scratch and packed up ready for your fridge or freezer. They have single portions & family size portions. Everything is excellent. They also have a vary nice wine selection, fresh seasonal veggies, & fresh breads. I tried the Mexican cornbread the other day and craved it ever since. Don't forget the Caesar salad/ dressing. So, if you love to eat great food and thinking about nice butcher cut, fresh seafood, or heating up the fruits of their labor- you can't go wrong. One other thing I noticed- groceries are really expensive and sometimes getting home to discover you only have ingredients makes it hard to budget. I found that these great meals helped me trim a dollars off stocking the fridge.

Each plate came with rice, hummus, bread, and a tomato-cucumber-green pepper-onion salad. The lamb ribs were fall-off-the-bone soft and some of the best lamb you'll ever have anywhere period. Well, now I know and this is where I'll be spending my money getting fresh cuts of meat for my family. I wanted rib eyes and I'd been checking the prices of several retailers. I checked that farmer's market, Publix and last I called Tripoli. Tripoli has the lowest prices so that's where I went. When I walked in I was greeted warmly by the little lady behind the counter. I asked for rib eyes but the owner Mahmoud Mohammed said that he'd be happy to process some for me as they were fresh out. I agreed. He was so polite and accommodating I looked around while I waited which was only 5-10 minutes. I also bought some roast turkey and turkey ham which I haven't been able to get anywhere here in Atlanta. My teenage son even took his face out of his phone and picked out some kabobs to make later. I called my mother as soon as I got home and told her about my great experience and she said she'll go check it out too. If you're looking for a fresh clean meat market with a great selection, check out Tripoli Halal Meat Market. FYI: In case you're unaware, there is no pork so you won't find any there but if you're looking for a Halal or even a clean orderly meat market with great prices go visit Tripoli Halal Meat Market in Marietta Georgia. He takes all forms of payment so swing by there. I recorded Mahmoud processing my rib eyes and the other things available to buy so go shop there! *I took great videos of my time there but uploading here is a nightmare.
