Sparkletts Water - Water from refurbished cooler

    Sparkletts Water

I've been a loyal customer of Sparkletts for 12 years and have always been happy with the quality…read moreof their water. David, the delivery person, is fantastic--friendly, reliable, and always goes above and beyond by bringing the bottles inside. However, the frustration with their water coolers has pushed me to the brink. I'm now on my third water cooler, which I've been renting for years. Honestly, with the ongoing rental charges, I probably could've bought several coolers by now. Recently, I requested a replacement for my malfunctioning cooler, only to have yet another refurbished unit delivered. And as usual, it was in poor condition. White particles came out of the water, and I had to waste almost a gallon of water just to flush the system. When I reached out to request a brand new cooler, I was told none were in stock and they only had refurbished coolers. This has been a recurring issue, and I've had enough. While their water is great, their rental coolers are absolutely subpar, and their inability to resolve the issue is beyond frustrating. If you like Sparkletts water, fine--but I strongly recommend buying your own cooler elsewhere. Their rental coolers are simply not worth the hassle.

Trying to cancel your service is a nightmare. Finally got a hold of somebody and now they want to charge me $50 to pick up the water cooler. Do not I repeat do not get service through Primo water. You will be paying a monthly service and never receive water. Then all these hidden fees. I will be definitely reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. But they have turned off all their social media comments and messaging.

San Diego Community Power - Letter from SDCP.

I called SDGE to see what's going on and they said that when I moved addresses, they didn't transfer this company's portion of the bill that they had forgiven, and it mounted up to $824. I never got a letter or a call letting me know that it wasn't transferred and then a year later I get a collections notice. I called this company and the rep just read her script! They actually have a script for this, which means they've done this to many people. Wow. Hopefully Trump shuts them down too!

We know that cost per kWH is cheaper with solar vs gas fired, or coal fired. So where are the savings. Non existent. Paired with the risk of changing a 20 year solar agreement with SDG&E, why would I ever take the "choice" of using SDCP? Old review 1/2022: I am an electric customer of San Diego. That makes me a defacto customer of SDCP. SDCP has written a letter indicating I need to OPT-OUT of changing my relationship with SDGE, effectively demanding that I pay them rather than SDG&E. This is unacceptable behavior. Customers are won, not taken, and I refuse to just ignore the situation and accept the default output. Until SDCP provides the terms of any new agreement exactly and in a legally binding way, any overtures of great service and good financial benefit, are meaningless.
