I would not use this place if you paid me. There is no security at all. It's unmanned so there is no physical presence there. The gate was left open and the storage building was left unlocked and required no code. A friend had thousands of dollars of items stolen out of there recently. I definitely would not recommend. Just drive by!!! read more

Terrible customer service... added fees to legal documents the district manager has a god complex and treats struggling Americans with complete disrespect! As a pregnant woman who is fleeing domestic violence and also have a high risk pregnancy and they have caused nothing but stress and added my November rent to a legal document mailed to me in October, which stated to stop the sale of my unit my sept and October rent needed to be paid and now I'm being told I have to pay November too in order to stop it which was not stated on the documen. read more

The help I received when I did not know where the pad was when I could not find it. And the lady I talked to was very polite.

The people online & at the kiosk were very helpful. I originally booked online and was ready to pay at the kiosk when I got there she told me about a deal for a storage unit that was 5FT bigger than the one I was originally getting and the price was going to be $42 a month cheaper, they didn't have to do that, that was very sweet of her. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a storage unit for one month or longer. read more

I have had my storage unit for 6 months now. I will be moving in Spring. My accessiblity doesn't work with my business needs. The snow removal is a joke. Always plowed in front parking lot. But, I contend with frozen 6 in of slush. A huge pile of snow in front of my unit. Which if plowed differently could be minimized. I don't expect it to be cleared in front. But 3 ft from my door is ridiculous. The setup coming in and out is completely backwards. If you're trying to exit you're basically playing chicken, doing a head-on with a person trying to come in and get to the keypad on 'their' side. I was at Life Storage choice in previous yrs and truly believe that I am going back there. Overall my satisfaction rate with what I paid, plus my unit went up in price ,just doesn't seem like I'm getting what I need or my money's worth!!! read more

Terrible attitude and very rude! I was renting a vehicle long term for close to $2000 and they lost my business along with everyone I can possibly get to not go there. I would look to a different location for a rental. read more

Very professional and cordial welcome from manager at this locale. It seems the 'live ons' are gone from here. It is fine as long as it's maintained and such. I miss the old cinder block buildings (with A/C power and interior lights...) The new 'tin cans' seem to be more efficient and I did not notice any signs of vermin or broken stuff that leads to problems down the line...Also bathrooms are inside, so if you have to go after office hours you are outa luck! Probably a lot easier for maintenance to keep clean with much less abuse of the facility. People these days can be real slobs and is better not to invite this type of abusive behavior anymore. Pretty much same goes for trash. If there is a dumpster I did not see it (my last facility manager constantly complaining about the slobs leaving all manner of household trash at the dumpster, whether it fits or not! This type of abuse is not encouraged by leaving trash cans and the like around. The office is neat and organized, just like the rest of the place. Insurance is required so either bring the rider page with you or be prepared to shell out $11 extra a month for the company provided policy. YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID if something were to happen..Even covers water backup in case of a super wet season (including melting snow dams, all too common in the Buffalo/Niagara area.) Also has rentals for trailer storage here...You (and your stuff) could have found a new and safe place.....Priced right too!!! read more
