Units do not take standard padlocks, you're required to spend $20 for a proprietary lock that can only be used on their storage units. Fees for everything. New unit? Fee. Unit upgrade? Fee. It's like a subscription scam where you have to pay for any sort of convenience. NOTE: Units have height limits and are covered with a wire ceiling so that stacking of storage items is limited. I've never seen such a thing in a storage unit. The ceiling is the limit in any other space, but here they artificially lower the height to reduce the amount of actual storage space.
