Started out good. Facilities are fine and the person in the phone setting me up was friendly. The one star rating is due to a 20% increase after only 6 months. 20%!!! After only 6 months!!!! Horrible. I don't recommend if you need the space long term. read more

BREAK-INS My move-out date is 10/19/24. I have been in the process of moving all my things. I have an email stating my move-out date (confirmation) . I received a voice message from Gerald, who said I still had belongings in the unit and needed to vacate them to avoid a cleaning fee. I called on 10/11 and spoke to Jason, who explained that someone had broken into my unit, so Gerald identified some items. I am very concerned about this and will continue to press the issue. The entrance seems insecure, and they must addre ss this to ensure safety. I am trying to get to the bottom of things, but these people ignore me. I have a witness who can confirm it was locked. Either the owner committed a violation, or there was a break-in. In any case, it was unethical since I had the unit until 10/19. Please inform your customers that there have been break-ins. read more

This is my first time renting a storage building and I found it an easy and seamless process. Directions were clear and concise. The automatic service also provided a live chat for any additional questions when I started the initial process. read more

first I saw a "special " 10x10 for $85/mo ao thatw what I rented online. when I got thwere she said taxes etc made it $120. I paid thAt for 1 1/2 years this is all the possessions I have left after my house burned down. THEN it went to 180 and this month it's freaking $220!!!!!!! I broke my leg and my car is sitting in the homeless shelter parking lot. Oh, by the way, I've been homeless for two years so my disability check only goes so far the VA is helping me get into an apartment but now, they put the lock on the storage unit and I have to pay them $540 to get my stuff out. I'm 60 years old disabled and Veteran. I just think this is really shitty. read more

Tarasia, Public storage, Red river Rd. Rockhill, SC was very curious, attentive, and very nice to me with my experience at this facility. read more

The process was very easy and fast! I was able to complete everything online! The unit was very clean and easy to access!

Do not rent here if it's long term. They treat there long term paying customers the worst. Triple the amount that they charge new customers. Total rip off. You will be better off moving your stuff out of one until into another which is absolutely ridiculous! read more

The young lady at the facility # 08574, was the nicest person! Extreamly helpful and very pleasant to work with. she explaind everything clearly. When I had questions, she made sure to address them as well as myself with respect. A quality not often found in these types of businesses. The facility is clead and secure. Just wat i needed. I was in need of a 10x15 storage unit and went to Public Storage mainly due to the fact that it was close to my house, easy to access from the road and seemed to be well kept as viewed from the street. The person inside (Wanda) was friendly and helpful. She didn't have any 10x15s available but she did help me obtain a 10x10 that will help me until the size I need comes up. The actual storage room seemed fine with the exception that there are no plugs or lights should I need access to my items at night. Insurance is mandatory: I chose the cheapest which was $11/month for $3000 coverage. I would have liked to opt out of that if possible because what I'm storing caries its own insurance so this wound up being a hidden added cost with no value to me but to others it might be a good option. read more

Been looking all over for a storage unit an thanks to Ashley I found the right size for the right price and customer service A1

So disappointing that long-term good customers are overcharged for storage units. On-line my unit is $164/month but I get charged $234 since I've been there 5 years. $70/month more than the online charge! They figure that you don't want to move your stuff so they overcharge you each year that you stay. Unbelievable!!!! read more

In the time we have been renting a parking spot for our boat at this location our rent has been raised twice, in less than two years. Recently we had a new seat stolen from our boat while in storage and were informed upon reporting it the property manager that while there are cameras on some parking spots, the row we are located in is not one of them. Perhaps a good use of the rental fees that increase so often would be purchasing cameras to cover the entire property! I was also offered to move my boat to a larger parking spot that was covered by the cameras for an additional $27 a month.Unacceptable. read more

Forget the contract! It means nothing! After 5 months they decide to increase the monthly rate. When I called to inquire about the increase, I was put on hold for over 5 minutes and then hung up on. Check the BBB.org. It is a pattern with Public Storage! read more
