I rented a unit and had it for 5 months, without telling me raised my rent. I moved from my residence (as that is why my belongings were going in storage) they raised my rent 60+ dollars. I had no clue they were raising it, which clearly is excessive. I paid by auto pay, never missing a payment. The guy at the office has a personality like a stop sign. Not friendly at all. Why have people doing business representing your company when clearly he hate's his job. I have moved my stuff out of there and will turn in my key on the 30th of this month. I will not turn it in a day sooner, as they will rent it out ASAP and get double the money for the same unit. Check rates and tell them to call you ( yes we have phones) and tell you of the increase. Ever since the Public Storage company took over this property, the rent has been continually raised. It is now to the point where for longer term storage it's not affordable. Yes they've made "improvements", but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the prior ownership. They painted, but to make it resemble their brand. They added a new gate lock, but to only make it compatible with their app. Speaking of the app, it rarely works to unlock the gate, being generally faster to just type in the code as normal. They also made the access hours less, now I can't access my stuff after 9. Whereas before I had until midnight, or longer if I asked. Overall value for the money, which (money) keeps increasing, just isn't there anymore. Now I have to give 60 days notice, unlike before (30 days), which means even more money out of my pocket. I'm over it, and taking my money elsewhere. read more

The move in process was super easy, unit was clean. Contactless due to Covid was helpful. Everything was texted to my phone and I moved right in. Then I came the day of actual big move with Uhaul and I forgot the key ‍I went to the front office to see if they had a skeleton key considering they provide the lock. The lady at the front desk was not so polite or helpful. She was actually really rude and told me to go get a grinder myself and grind the lock off if I didn't have the key??? Ummmm whattt????? Is this normalll? This was just yesterday. She was not helpful, no customer service skills, rude and unprofessional not helpful whatsoever. So if you get a unit here make sure you avoid the lady at the office because she is rude as hell. read more

Went to Public Storage today met a really nice associate Christina who was very helpful showed me 3 different size storage areas explained everything really well on payments , insurance ect .Christina also got me in and out and set up my first storage experience. I would recommend checking Public Storage out very reasonable prices and a great location. I think the reason Christina and I got along so well was that we are both Capricorn December babies. Expensive, and false advertisement! my first month was not $1 dollar but more like $200 dollars. Oh and by the way they have it set up where you can not lock your unit with a reg old lock, you will have to pay $20 bucks extra for a lock that only works on their units. Also I moved out all my stuff and was planning on coming back to storage some stuff back in the middle of the month but they took it upon them selves and moved me out automatically from my unit even if I had already paid for the month ? I am currently renting the largest unit this place offers. I've been renting from them for over a year unfortunately and have nothing but problems from leaky ceiling and bugs to my rent being raised from $250.00a month to $312.00a month! When my rent was raised there was nothing I could do about it, they have all my belongings and locked me out of my unit and threatened to auction it off Until I paid the balance! Before the rent being raised, I also have had non-stop issues with the employees being extremely rude and they can't explain the up charge in late fees and random other fees. On two separate occasions, when I was late on monthly payment, she charged me different amounts each time. When I questioned why, she rolled her eyes and told me the rates fluctuate because every day the prices go up and down daily online and it just depends on the day?!?! What?! I feel like I'm being bullied into giving them whatever they feel like charging me! Now they are saying I owe almost $800.00 plus late fee! When I call them they have no explanation! Just that I owe that amount or they will action off my unit! Really wish I would have never dealt with these people,I hope that this review helps someone thinking about using this company. I have had nothing but great service from Amanda and Delon. The place is always clean I have never had a problem with my storage. When I asked to use the restroom it was nice and clean. Rented a unit at this location for almost 2 yrs and the monthly rental fee kept going up while the customer service went down. I needed to get something out of my unit and when I went to open the lock, I noticed the lock latch was missing a screw, so I contacted the office right away and told them about the latch and was told they would have it fixed right away. WELL...months later it still wasn't fixed! It was impossible to open and close the storage door while pregnant due to the latch being broken. After several phone calls to the office, finally someone came over to the unit to see the latch and I gave them my key to fix the latch. a month later the latch was finally fixed and at this point I just decided to start moving my stuff out of the unit. it was the beginning of the month so didn't think I would get charged for a month but THEY CHARGED ME!!!! after complaining to the office was told the manager said if I could have ALL MY STUFF OUT BY 6pm they would refund me my monthly fee. It's now January 2020 and I still haven't received my refund!! this happened months ago!!!! this location never kept their word on anything!! read more

This is the worst storage place I've ever done business with. The management team is immature and extremely unprofessional. I've had a storage unit with them since early this year. I pay my exorbitantly high rent every month and yet these losers continue to deny access to my unit month after month if my rent isn't paid by the 6th. My access was restricted this month by the 7th. I pay my rent every month. I might pay late but I still pay every single month. I have been treated very poorly by a bunch of unprofessional jerks. They work bankers hours and never answer the phone, but prefer hiding inside the office. I'm a single mom living paycheck to paycheck. These jerks hide behind the skirts of the corporate office. I'm reporting the to the BBB and the Attorney Generals office. AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!!!! read more
