Ever since StorSafe took over, especially dealing with Paul, Darin, and the accounting department, it has been an absolute nightmare. Last year was by far the worst. We ended the season with more than **$12,000 in past-due invoices**. Despite months of phone calls, text messages, and emails, getting a response was nearly impossible. Every once in a while, they would randomly send a check for a lawn care invoice, but they would intentionally leave out the late fees that were clearly owed. The irony is that if you're a customer renting from StorSafe, they won't return your belongings until you pay every late fee they charge. Yet when they owe someone money, they seem to think those same late fees don't apply to them. After more than **10 months**, **100+ phone calls**, and **500+ emails**, I finally received most of the money I was owed--but they still refused to pay the accumulated late fees. Even now, I still have an outstanding invoice of about **$1,500**, and who knows how long it will take before that gets paid. In my experience, StorSafe has shown a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for the businesses they hire. Apparently they have no internal system or communication to deal with a move out. They have plenty of automation to take your money and raise the rent though. Nicole was able to have my auto-pay shut down immediately and waived the 10 day notice requirement.
