PUBLIC STORAGE STOLE MY MONEY I've used public storage many times. Never had an issue till now. I went there and the space size was not accurate. I couldn't move in. I never moved in and Glady's wont refund my money. Glady's, the property manager certainly does not understand customer satisfaction. When I arrived, Glady's was inside the gate cleaning a bathroom and told me i'd have to wait an hour till she was done. i waited. when they reserved the space for me they knew i had an 8ft wide trailer, i wanted an outdoor parking space for my motorcycle trailer i accepted a garage with a door. . never had a garage with a door before but its ok. the 10 x 13 ft garage only had a 7 ft doorway. the trailer didnt fit. they had no other space. I NEVER moved in. i left and went elsewhere. Now they aren't refunding the money that I paid in advance to secure the space. It's $50. It's not going to break the bank but this just isn't right. And Glady's is the only person that can help me, and although she created this mess, she refuses to do anything for me. there's no one to talk to. Glady's says call customer service, We Care. Went to my unit today to put some stuff in my unit, & there was rat feces all over the hall leading to my unit.. the ceiling is bulging & it smelt like urine... I opened my unit to find the installation of the ceiling all over my belongings. Clearly there's a rat infestation & doesn't seem like they are doing anything about it. Not to mention my monthly cost went up $40... For what exactly? To house rodents? Cleaning my unit out & finding a new storage unit. Contacted the property manager & haven't received a reply. read more

This Public Storage location raised my rates by almost 25% after only 5 months claiming that my rent was lower than the average units. They are the ones that set the price in the first place. I specifically asked the manager of this facility if they raise the rent before one year because I had a bad experience of this happening at another Public Storage location and she told me they don't. After my rent was raised, I contacted the manager Patricia and she was very nice and tried to get my rent lowered but had no success. Then Patricia tried to get me in contact with the district manager Jeannie Schwartz but she refused to take my calls and refused to lower my rent back to the original price. I do not recommend using Public Storage because it appears that all of their locations raise the rent frequently and then the customers have no recourse. read more

Over-priced. Old, run-down facility. It takes a LOT of work to reach anyone who has any real authority. Finally left after a basic lack of communication in their office left us without reasonable options for securing a smaller unit. Just for laughs, try calling this location and ask to "speak to a manager". They will literally tell you, "we're all managers". lol! First time they told me that I really thought they were just f-ing with me, but I soon found out they were completely serious. Note to the employees: a property manager is NOT what customers are asking for when they ask to speak to your manager. Hellloooooo!?!?! McFly!?!? iStorage is wayyy better - check them out first. We've been so much happier since we took our business to them. read more

after being told I'm responsible for the unit and it had a past due balance. a public storage unit representative called to tell me if I didn't pay it was going to go to collections so I paid the bill and told them to close the account/ storage unit. guess what it's still not closed and is accruing more charges. these places are rediculous never there for the customer always their pockets. Especially since I explained to the that the emergency contact on the account was responsible for the unit after the first month of it being paid. read more

Went to renew my contract today n go to a smaller unit bc my rate had gone up. I went in pretty upset n ready to move but after talking w the lady up front, Kim I think was her name, blond lady w sunglasses, she was able to renegotiate my rate n keep me in same size unit. You rock n thank you for your patience w me. I wish my significant other was as helpful as kim n helped me w the boxes! read more

This place is garbage. I mean, it's just a building for storage right? What could possibly go wrong?! Well, they baited me in with a $1 for the second month deal. The first month was low $280/month, affordable. Month 3 they attempted to hike the storage fee up by almost $100/month as if it's now the Trump Tower Hotel & Storage . Needless to say I'll be cancelling and moving my business elsewhere. Some garbage about current market rates! No, it's corporate greed and I don't subscribe to that. read more

I would've given this location an amazing review , unfortunately it cannot be so. I paid my unit in full AND contacted the property manager Stephanie regarding this matter and had to leave a VM , no response back. Another authorized user came in and showed Danielle the confirmation and my balance that stated $0.00 . She told me that since I used my bank account information it processes as a check . I READ the Terms and Conditions when I accepted that form of payment; NOWHERE does it state that it takes 7-10 business days. If my account states $0.00 and I don't owe WHY AM I NOT ALLOWED TO RETRIEVE MY PROPERTY. On the terms and conditions it states "Payments entered on our system before 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time will be scheduled and processed on the same business day. For all entries made using the service, the time is recorded on our computer controls. Payments entered on a weekend or after 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time on a regular PS business day will be processed on the next PS business day." Then Danielle tells me that she contacted her District Manger and is waiting to hear back. I asked her to have him contact me as well.She then proceeds to tell me per her company policies her District Manager CANNOT contact me ! Excuse me ??? Your supervisor CANNOT speak with me regarding this matter that I need handled??? I'm not sure what kind of business this is but as a manger myself , I handle ALL my customers complaints and get back to them ASAP. DEFINITELY UNACCEPTABLE!! read more

I had been a client at this storage facility for over 7 years; prior to Public Storage it was a Stor All. The customer service is very good. Stephanie is great and she is usually the one who helps with most of my needs, but recently I closed out my storage unit and Renel, who was extremely helpful and polite, as well. Although the facility is an older one, I would use them again and recommend them as a safe place for your items. read more

On a Holiday Danielle was in the Office and as Moving in itself is Challenging this Particular Move was Very Much and Danielle perceived the Duress we were under and Took Initiative and Got us all Set Up while I could be working with the crew unloading the Truck. The day before that as it was very confusing what we needed Stephanie was calm and cool on the phone in just hearing me out and what I thought I might be needing even though in the moment I was not sure of how much stuff was actually trying to be stored for the family. read more

I signed up online where I got a better prices than I'd have gotten at the store. Received a call from the store within half an hour. The signup was a breeze. Everything was explained. Very friendly girls at the front desk. We were shown to our box and we were good to go after signing the necessary paperwork. read more
