Horrible services. Can't get manager or anyone in the front office. Facility also have something wrong with the doors. Price goes up every year from 86.00 went up to 111.00. 3 days couldn't get in storage and noone was around to help. I moved out today. There other places that's way better than this place. read more

There is too much to say. When I first moved in like anywhere they want your business so they give you a low price but then I noticed throughout the months just steadily increasing from $60's then $100+ to now and one of the reasons why I'm moving out is now my storage went to $209 you think they would do something to keep customers that always pay but I think they do not care. The office is never open and I had to keep my storage another month because their elevators were broken for several days and I didn't feel like taking the stairs. This review is directed at the facility, not the staff. They are wonderful. Last weekend of the month and there was only one elevator working. It was a nightmare. It took twice as long as it should have because there was a never ending line for the elevator. One entrance to the facility, traffic jam just trying to get a spot to back in. A wait for a cart that there are not enough of. Five minutes waiting in line each time to get on the elevator. Then you have to put a code in to go to your floor. If you fail to do so in a timely manner which is a race because there's a line of angry people your floor gets skipped so people are riding up and down. Not to mention shaded covered loading would have been nice. Horrible design. Horrible location. You have to drive a mile past it to u-turn in a Uhaul and sit in Northpark traffic for ten minutes to get into the parking lot. Flooded 6/9/24 entire 1st floor will not allow access to mitigate your damage till 6/11/24!!!!!!!!! Just left there and they would not allow me to open the door to air it out, nor did they have blowers or dehumidifiers going to mitigate everything only mopping their hallway!!!! Avoid at all costs when I moved in someone had police out there as people were breaking into cages and today I was notified yesterday the entire 1st floor flooded with over 2 inches of sewage and they won't let anyone in to their unit until tomorrow we're you might have a shot at mitigation of items today or yesterday when it happened and nobody was told till this afternoon!!!!! Public Storage - Self Storage Near Me - Kingwood, Texas

Overall, the facility is new and modern... but that seems to be the only thing they have going for them. When I first rented a 10x10 unit in Jan 2023, the rate was $117/mo. In June of 2023 (5 months later) the prices increased to $157/mo. Then in March of 2024, they increased again to $178/mo - so, in less than 15 months my rent went up by more than 50%!!! On top of that, within the last few weeks, there have been multiple reports of break-ins (with police reports filed) and all floors of the building. Fortunately I was not one of them, but I never received any sort of notification from Public Storage that this occurred and found out via facebook posts from other renters. Earlier this summer there was also flooding that happened on the ground floor - still no notice to check my unit or belongings. It's a shame that this nice facility is poorly managed and is not secure. I have since moved out and found the same size unit for much cheaper and for now, seems more secure. read more

Beware! DO NOT rent a storage in this place. The facility doesn't have video surveillance to secure the storage units. My padlock was removed by thieves and some of my belongings were stolen. Then a new lock from Public Storage was installed in my unit and they never inform me until I went to the unit to load some stuffs. Christine who works there was NOT helpful at all. She insisted I bought a lock from them without even checking the records. I had to hire my own locksmith to open the unit and they never bothered to compensate. If I could give this storage a ZERO stars I would be happy to do so! I have never in my life experienced such a terrible service. I would avoid this Storage company like the plague if you have the choice to do so! If it happens to be the only show in town, I wish you the very best of luck! read more

A really excellent storage facility and one of the few in the area that has climate-controlled storage units. The surrounding grounds and interior of the storage building are kept immaculately cleaned by Miss Chrissy. She is an amazing manager and she helped make my move into this locatio, smooth and trouble free. I highly recommend this storage place for anyone in need of one! A+++!!! read more

I understand that business are hurting. Regardless, I don't appreciate raising the rent twice within a two year period. Their excuse "we need to bring it to market value". It is not my fault the unit was listed at the price they advertised when I got the unit. I have rented from other companies in the past, and they have never increased the rent this often. Both times they sent me a letter to inform me of the price increase to the previous address. I had given my new mailing address to a customer service representative over the phone awhile back before they had increased the rent the first time. I found out recently that they can't make address changes over the phone. It must be done in person or on their website. They need to do a better job training their staff. If you like your rates to jump high within the first year (month 8), this is the place for you. Their prices. They suck you in with that "first month is free", but you will pay for it later. Bad business and not professional at all. They said the sent me a mailer with my increases, which I never saw, yet they communicate every other way via email. No email came with the rate increases. Sneaky at the very least. Will not recommend this business to anyone on social media. Only thing I can say positive is that it is small and relatively safe. But the location sucks on the weekends with all the traffic. When they start construction of the overpass at Northpark and 494, you will not want to be here at any time of the week. read more

This property is GREAT and so is Jesse (he has gone above and beyond trying to help)....my issue is with Corporate and their technical support, which is nonexistent when it comes to their app. I have been a customer of theirs for about two months and to this day I still can not access auto-payment online either through their app or the website. There is an issue with their system that I emailed them about and have had no one get back to me....maybe someone will read this? read more

I've used public storage before when my mom moved but at a different location on Fry Rd. The manager at that location was more helpful than the one in this location on Northpark. I called and spoke to the manager to see if she can help us since we needed the unit for 1 more week if she had any discounts but she was rude and you can tell she didn't want to help. This is the last time I use public storage. I won't be referring anyone anymore. read more
