When I finally moved to California from Minnesota, they handled the move personally. They have given me nothing but sterling first-class service. This is a family owned business, and I would recommend them with my highest praise. Their work, their care, their honesty, their fair pricing is beyond anything I have experienced from another moving company. Anyone needing moving and storage service can be confident that they will receive first-class treatment at an absolutely fair price.

We've become a return customer over the past years. It's hard to say that small-staff, home town…read moremovers match the quality of the large over-the-road firms, but this company does. Being a local enterprise, they are attentive, easy to reach and do business with, adhere to their quote (an unusual event these days) and willingly finish as early as the job ends (also sometimes an unusual event with other firms). All in all, with a customer experience doing business with them that goes back to 2002, these are honest, good people to do business with. A move is stressful enough. Don't complicate it more than necessary.

They promptly came out to look at my move and gave me a written estimate (very competitive) and picked a date that worked for me. They came on time, were very careful with my furniture, and got it moved to the new location without incident. The real value came when it was time to pay and found that they actually saved me $$ under their budget. How often does that ever happen. If you have to move short or long distance I would strongly recommend this Company. Absolutely wonderful experience!!!

After approximately three years as a paying storage customer, I feel compelled to share my…read moreexperience so others can make an informed decision. Repeated delays and poor communication have made retrieving my belongings unnecessarily difficult. Despite multiple follow-ups, I still had no confirmed access date. When I requested a clear plan and answers to billing questions, Ben said he would coordinate with my representative and added, "Do not contact me anymore." My questions remained unanswered. Reliable access to your belongings and respectful communication are basic expectations, and my experience with Cannon Valley Moving has fallen well short of both.

It was due to conflicting schedules with my roommate's work and school timing so that in order to begin our lease earlier than anticipated we would have to move in earlier also. Thankfully we were able to reach out to these guys and they helped us make that huge dilemma of ours into a simplified and easy move. We had to move north about six hundred miles and were considering all of the possible things that could have happened to our stuff on the way. Thankfully this company had accounted for that and they had several different types of crates, boxes, and even insurance deals to help us get over our doubts and fears. All of the electronics were packed neatly next to each other while the clothing were all folded and neatly layered in the crates.  It took us about four days or less just to get everything packed up, labeled up all of the boxes and carried the furniture out into the trucks from the house. After that it was all up to the movers to get the things shipped into our new place by the end of the following week, they told us this would be no issue. Fortunately enough, the movers did exactly as they promised and had our things delivered in under seventy two hours, expedited shipping was also very cheap compared to other places. Definitely give them a call for a helping hand in moving.

As a military family, we've moved many times both within Minnesota and across the country, and this experience was truly our best. Apparently this is the shadiest of all shady industries as searching for movers via Google will attest to. Fortunately, these guys are totally above the board and were terrific with our move. Aaron and his team of two packed our entire house in a single day and I would say did a better job that I ever would have in packaging our stuff. Other than a slight snafu where they didn't realize we needed a parking permit for the moving van on the SF receiving end, everything went far smoother than I could have ever hoped for. I highly recommend them for making such a stressful event very not stressful for us.

The movers arrived promptly in a truck that looked new and clean and reliable. The movers were courteous and extremely careful with my furniture, wrapping and padding almost everything. I was moving out of a tricky location (three level townhome with narrow stairwells that had the added fun of 90 degree turns in each one) with some heavy, bulky furniture and into an older home with some less than desirable traits as far as moving goes (entry up stairs, narrow staircase into the basement with low ceilings) but they handled it all very well. The move went faster than I expected and my cost ended up being under what they'd quoted, which was honest of them and much appreciated. The only thing I'd liked to have had was an email confirmation or something when I scheduled the move. When I called to schedule they said I'd receive a call about a week before to just check in and confirm the date and time, which they did do, but an email confirmation the day I booked would have helped me know I was definitely on their schedule. Not that I needed have worried, they were great and I'd highly recommend them to move your possessions, too.
