When I talked to Brittany the manager of the store she rudely told me they are allowed to do what they want. They have a clause in the contract that says they can change without my knowledge and its my problem not hers. I received notice for that but never for a late fee. We also received steep increases in the actual rent price. Be prepared to pay double your initial rate at some point.

The front desk employees are extremely pleasant and willing to get you all of the information you need! At first, I was unsure of what size I needed so they showed me 2 different sizes of units. I didn't need the storage unit for another few weeks but they assigned me a unit and held it for me until I needed it. The employee also tried to get me a unit close to the elevator so I would have easier access since they did not have my size available on the first floor. You can pay by going to the main office or paying online. Setting up payment online was very easy. They also have an option to set up auto pay which was a bonus for me. Access to the building is extremely easy. There are multiple entry points in which you enter a code specific to you. They have carts near the elevators you can use for free to take items from your car to your unit which are extremely helpful! The unit is extremely clean! The floors were not dirty nor had stains on them. They have great climate control! This past week, it got up in the high 90's and when I went to my storage unit, I did not feel warm.

I have been a customer with REC Nations for nearly three years, and until recently my experience…read morehad been acceptable. Unfortunately, an incident that occurred during their recent ground remodeling project has completely changed my view of this company. My RV was moved from its original spot to another location as part of their construction work. They have asked for my persmision to preform the task. During that move, my RV was damaged, resulting in thousands of dollars in repair costs. What has been most disappointing is not just the damage itself, but the way the situation was handled afterward. They didn't take any responsibililty becuase they asked me to sign a weaver. I made the mistake to think they are professional at what they do. BIG MISTAKE. I made multiple attempts to reach someone to discuss the issue and find a reasonable resolution. After several calls and emails, the only response I received was that I should file a claim with my own insurance, and the company refused to take any responsibility for the damage that occurred while my RV was under their care. After this experience, I decided to cancel my lease agreement. I had just paid for the upcoming month, and when I called to request a refund for the unused portion, the representative refused and simply stated that the termination date would be March 31 instead of April 9. After nearly three years as a paying customer, this response felt dismissive and extremely disappointing. Businesses make mistakes -- that happens. But how a company chooses to stand behind its customers when those mistakes occur is what defines their integrity. At this point, I am simply asking for fairness and accountability. I hope REC Nations leadership reviews this situation and considers reaching out to resolve the matter appropriately. Until then, I cannot recommend this facility based on my experience.

It is so refreshing when you encounter an employee who is competent, knowledgeable & actually cares…read moreabout YOU, the customer. Angela, who Is a lead trainer, & I believe a manager (if she isn't, she SHOULD be) is one of those employees. Angela sorted through a crazy mix-up with our storage spaces, created by a different employee at a different location. She reached out to us with many phone calls, keeping us informed about her efforts to make a stressful situation right for us. Angela took matters into her hands, because she whole-heartedly wanted our situation to be corrected, and for us to be treated fairly. We are incredibly thankful for Angela's determination, experience & knowledge. I have no doubt that without her, our tangled situation would not have been resolved. We recently sold our home and rented some storage units for our household items until our new home is ready. However, the elevator in the building was not working. This is a TERRIBLE situation for our movers who needed to unload a huge truck of our stuff into our spaces. We decided to transfer our spaces - one to a different location nearby - (Angela's location) with a working elevator. From there, everything got scrambled. But from the moment we met & spoke with Angela about everything it was clear that she was thoroughly frustrated that this happened to us...& she was going to get it straightened out. It took a few days- but SHE DID IT!! Diligent, kind, knowledgeable, experienced & smart! This is Angela! I highly recommend her & her location & team. You can be confident that you will be treated well! Thank you for all you did for us Angela! You are a Shining Star Public Storage Employee...they are LUCKY to have you!! 5 star experience with Angela!

The rent goes up fast!…read more The facility was clean and easy to access. The rate for the 5x10 unit was $51/month in August 2024 (after a $41/month introductory rate for three months). They increased the price quickly. In May 2025, they raised the rent to $66/month, and they just notified me that on February 2026, the rent would increase to $86/month. That's a 30% increase every 9 months, a 70% increase in a year and a half. I'm moving my stuff out before the next rent increase goes into effect. If I were to do it again, I would only consider Public Storage for short-term rental (less than a year).
