The manager of this unit Sherry is borderline very curt or rude or can be after one year of utilizing the service here. Was downgrading my unit to a smaller size plus the issue of the unit being invaded with sand-like substance which damaged much of my property including clothing, this lady showed no mercy even when i ask for her to come and view my unit. She went as far as to suggest I still clean the unit for the damage done by whatever contract company was utilized to do maintainance service when i decided to leave. Can you believe this? Often hesitant to share information. Thank God for a lady named Dee whom substituted for her on a Sunday who provided the conatc for the area manager. After my last encounter with her I decided not to even move into the unit I requested. I went to Uhaul. This lady I am sure is impacting this business in a negative way with other customers.. read more

This is my first experience with renting a storage unit, and it's been a mixed bag. When I arrived at the office, I was assisted by a very friendly associate named Paula who was pleasant and informative. She took the time to explain the fees and all of the terms of the rental agreement, and she cheerfully answered all of my questions. I was assigned my unit, received my keys and gate code, and then I was quickly on my way. Access hours for the unit are from 6am to 9pm every day, and there seems to be ample space for large moving trucks to go in and out of the facility. I inspected my unit which was clean and ready to go, and all that's left is for me to fill it up. There are no time commitments, so the unit can be used for only the length of time I need it. They only require two days notice for termination, so that's very reasonable. I took advantage of an awesome summer sale, and my discount will apply for as long as I rent the unit with the exception of a standard yearly increase that all units are subject to. That's where the experience goes sour. They do their annual increases every December 1, just in time for the holidays. Six months after moving in, I received an increase of $28 per month. I questioned it and asked for leniency since I had only been there a short time, but no luck. The following December I received another increase of $39, so I began contacting the district manager and regional manager. I never got a response from either, but one of them decided to give me a reprieve that year which was a tremendous relief. Unfortunately December 2021 rolled around, and the Public Storage Grinch tacked on another hefty increase of $32. My most recent increase was supposed to be an additional $48 per month, but after multiple attempts to contact someone they agreed to modify the increase to approximately $24 per month. At any rate, I am paying double the amount that I was paying when I first moved in and it's absolutely disheartening. I will definitely have to start looking around for an alternative because I can't afford the hefty yearly rate hikes. My advice to anyone looking for storage is to bypass Public Storage and look at other options. If you are lucky enough to get a great deal from Public Storage like I initially did, I guarantee you it won't last long. read more

I have rented multiple times from multiple storage facilities. In fact, our family owned a facility for many years, so I know the business very well. This recently happened at this particular facility, but it has happened before and all at Public Storage facilities. This particular time, we were moving out of a unit, and came back that night at 9:15, to clean out the unit. but made it there after they closed and locked the gates at 9:00 pm. No problem, our mistake, we should have paid attention to the close time. But we woke up early, and were at the gate the moment it would work, and had cleaned out the unit, and left by 7:30 a.m., prior to the office, and facility had opened for business. So they lost no opportunity to lease/rent or whatever, as no one was there to take new customers anyway. They knew we were moving out, so even online they could rent it. But they are still charging the amount for the monthly rental to us?!? We never did this to our customers when we owned our facility. This has happened before, and at multiple facilities, and I know, because I spoke to other renters, and the actual employees. In fact, 3 of the employees I spoke with complained, and said they can't stand it, and it is the corporation, and they do not care. Its another way to screw the renters. At one of the facilities, my nephew that is wheelchair bound, had the same thing happen on his account. But at least in his instant, his unit was not completely cleaned out until the first. I can understand that kinda, but still some pro-rate or partial charge should happen. That is them taking advantage of customers. Unfortunately, I still have a unit here, but I will move out this month. And will never rent from them again. Pretty sad, no income lost to the facility, nor the corporation, but they will still screw their customers for profit. read more

Absolutely horrible. Nice staff but terrible at their jobs! Gate was broken on the day I was helping my friend to move out of her apartment and into storage. They were only allowing access during office hours 9:30-6pm, which is understandable. However, day 2 of the gate being broken I end up sitting outside the gate with movers and a bunch of other customers waiting to get into their units for hours past the posted office hours. No one has showed up to fix the gate or open the office. There isn't even a note as to the reason for the office not being open during normal hours. Having no access to a unit that is costing 210 dollars a month and paying movers to wait around for hours is not acceptable. There is also no easy way to get ahold of people at corporate to remedy the situation. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! read more
