The biggest issue, though, was the lack of urgency and professionalism once they arrived. You're paying by the hour, and Michael spent what felt like the majority of the move scrolling on his phone between nearly every box he moved. He didn't introduce himself when he arrived. He flung our stuff around with ZERO care. To make matters worse, we eventually realized that Michael was the person in charge!? Herberto, on the other hand, was a hustler. Then, in the middle of the move, they took an HOUR-LONG break without communicating anything to us. Conveniently, that hour was still included on the bill until we caught it and called them out on it. Watch your bill carefully. I emailed back and forth with owners Robert and Angela to narrow down specifics, and they were helpful and prompt with each response. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. We would definitely hire A&R Moving Solutions again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services in Greater Nashville.

We had a very disappointing experience dealing with the owner, Brian. Without going into too much…read moredetail, after we reported damage that occurred during our move, Brian's response was extremely unprofessional and confrontational. Rather than trying to understand what happened or help resolve the issue, he immediately insisted that we had caused the damage and refused to assist us. We reported the situation to Belmont University, which has been very helpful and told us they would speak with Brian. Unfortunately, it appears their ability to intervene may be limited because his company holds the moving contract. In my opinion, the way this situation was handled was completely inappropriate, particularly for someone working with college students and their families. Moving is already stressful, and customers should be treated with professionalism and respect when problems arise. We are continuing to work with Belmont to try to resolve the matter. I never asked for a refund -- just for him to acknowledge the damage and he treated us poorly. We may report this to the BBB as well.

I was very frustrated as the trailer had to be driven back to Detroit on Sunday. I called College Hunks at 7pm on a Saturday night and miracously they were able to help. Two nice men showed up at 8:45 (15 minutes early!) on a Sunday morning. They were efficient, polite and turned my previous terrible experience around. I try to use local businesses whenever I can but I highly recommend this national franchise! #thankscollegehunks

I had 4 items to move. 2 young guys half my age took over 30min to move these items into the truck. It felt suspicious to me. I follow behind them to the delivery address and they get in the wrong lane. I pull-up and ask where they're going, and the driver proceeds to say they need a break and have to eat something. I followed them to a gas station where I'm speaking to an agent that I'm not paying for a break that could have been taken between jobs and was told I won't be paying for that -- they charge $170 an hour btw. They get back in the truck and continue to go in the wrong direction. They pull into their office on Donelson & park the truck. I hop out and accuse them of purposefully wasting my time in order to bill me more for 4 items. We get into a shouting match and the driver who lied and said he was getting gas when he was just at a gas station said he could take a break whenever he wants and doesn't have to tell me, he told me to f**k off, and that he could waste my time and money if he wants to. Then they refused to open the truck so I can get my items and the office staff called the police. I explained to the cops what they did and that I will take my items in my car myself. And, I did. It took one highly aware and strong woman, who called-out these fraudsters to their face, less than 25min to load & unload my 4 items. This company should be investigated for billing fraud - they are dishonest, lack integrity, and are lazy. This isn't just a horrible experience. This shows everyone reading what is wrong with lazy people who think your money is their money -- and I don't have money like that -- I work 80hrs a week because I was homeless 8month ago. Stay far away from these criminals!
