I was overwhelmed by her houseful of possessions, almost all of which needed to be given away or recycled, and my deadline was tight. There was no way to accomplish this task with out help. I called Junk Genius based on its Yelp description, and was thrilled with the results. The staff is very friendly and professional, and removed everything in the house down to the last paper clip. All items that were usable were donated to local charities, and recyclable items were taken to appropriate centers. I met my deadline with a day to spare. The cost was extremely reasonable, only $1,800 based on the number of truckloads they hauled. I was expecting to pay twice that. This is a wonderful, local small business. A special shout out to John and Will, who worked on my job, and were my friends by the end of our four days together. I was sad to see them go!

Second, Gavin showed up on time, and thankfully professional and personable. Gavin had the equipment necessary to get the job done of clearing out a ton of junk in and around my barn, and worked extremely hard to get the job done without delay. He stuck to his word and most importantly his quote. Lastly, my neighbor came by and asked Gavin for a quote on moving several pieces of heavy equipment. My neighbor told that Gavin not only gave him a great quote but delivered each piece of heavy equipment without any damage, and completing a difficult job on time. I would most certainly have Gavin for this kind of work in the future and highly recommend his services. My neighbor was just as satisfied with the work that Gavin completed for him. IMPORTANT! They dropped off the dumpster at the scheduled time and placed it exactly where I needed it. The drive who delivered the dumpster was extremely polite and showed me how to open and close the dumpster doors. I didn't need the dumpster for the full seven days so once I was done, I called the office to schedule the pickup. They came out the same day to pick it up and again, the driver was extremely polite. It was a 5-star experience from start to finish and I'll definitely use their services again when/if the need arises.

I used their services several weeks ago and it will be the last time. They dropped off all of our things at a woman's home; they literally dropped it in her front yard. The homeowner found our name amongst the pile of rubbish and called my husband complaining about our stuff being dumped in her yard. He had to explain that it was Junkdrop that did this and we had nothing to do with it. What a debacle and embarrassment to their company. There was also no offer of refunding the expensive costs we incurred. We will not use them again, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend them anymore.
