I really like that management lives onsite & is always very friendly. This location is clean and well lit. The downgrade in the star rating has to do with how the price jumps drastically and often. With the Labor Day special online, a small unit is currently $36 for first month. So regular monthly rate would be $72 going forward.. However after many years of being a loyal customer, our bill just increased AGAIN ...& for the SECOND time this year!!! $140/month total is too much imo ...especially since another increase is prob around the corner. I guess it's time to call around :(

This is where things go from very good to very NOT good. As with so many similar experiences talking to almost anyone on the phone these days, the representatives: 1) Talk extremely fast, much faster than necessary and certainly far too fast than a normal conversation between two people 2) Their accent is so thick, it is VERY difficult to understand exactly what they are attempting to say. 3) They do not listen carefully to the question(s) that I am attempting to ask. 4) They are compelled to repeat everything back to me in a robotic-like fashion. 4) They repeat their answer to me 4-times over, even if I clearly understood what they said the first time.

She was lovely to speak with over the phone, and made me feel comfortable and taken care of. She informed me of the office hours, and also gate hours! Things I wasn't even aware of! I've been there since 2023 prices consistently go up Downsize since I'm a single mother paid a few months in advance then having to move out of the unit I downsize too because it smelled like dead animals in there in building 400 Jamie, the office manager moved me out four days after told me, I was paid up until August started receiving late payments emails in July. Charges me late fees when they're not supposed to after my contract starts on the seventh day of the month and they charge me on the second of everyone putting causing me to have late fees, lien fees, etc.. do not rent from here definitely don't go to the building 400

We store our holiday items and stuff we simply can't let go of. We are not hoarders, our rental property is just on the small side. We pay rent on the unit for 3 months at a time. The area is kept clean and the process of entering and leaving is simple. Cameras are located throughout the area. All the units are located outside. None that I am aware of are air conditioned. The monthly pricing seemed to change every couple of months, and the locker sizes are awkward and not particularly well suited for storing wine. Access is another major issue. Getting in and out of the facility is cumbersome, especially when you're carrying multiple bottles or cases of wine. Overall, the wine storage area feels like an afterthought rather than something that was intentionally designed and properly managed for wine collectors. The tasting room was also disappointing. While you're shown a tasting room, members apparently don't have access to actually use it, and the overall setup is strange and not very inviting. For a facility specifically offering wine storage, I expected much better attention to the practical needs of wine collectors.

I scheduled a pickup for 2 PM on a Friday. I arrived at around 1:50 and the front door was locked. I knocked on the front door and no one came after about 5 minutes I figured I would log onto the app and start the pickup process through the app thinking someone would be in the office at 2 PM since that was my appointment time. After I uploaded my DL, I got a message on the app to call U-Haul because the app could not check me in. I called the number provided to me in the message on the app and the customer service rep asked me why I was calling. I told her I was at Greenfill Lone Star Self Storage LLC to pick up the trailer but the front door was locked and I was told through the app to call this number after I uploaded my ID. She was very nice and said that she would see if she could see why no one was there since it was now 2:10 PM. At about 2:15 I could see through the window someone walking in the back door and the customer service rep at U-Haul told me she found someone to help me in the office and they would be right there. The lady opens the door and immediately tells me I did not have to call U-haul that I should have call the number on the door, never saying I'm sorry she was late, no remorse at all for making me wait. I told her that my appointment was for 2 PM it was now 2:15 and now I will probably be late to my appointment. The second employee told me that I had better cut the attitude that she has the right to refuse business anyone she want to, I said, you are late and have an bad attitude that I called U-haul, but I am the customer and should not have to call anyone, you should have been in the office at 2, I said just get me my trailer so I can get out of here. She told the older lady she was not going to give me the trailer and told me to leave. Do not do business with this company, they are rude, do not appreciate their customers and even when they are in the wrong will gas light you trying to turn it around that I was the issue. This place is very dirty and they park the trailers in a overgrown field. All I can say is stay away and go to another place.
