Update So they go up on the storage fees every 3 months then they keep people hard earned money. If you move out early (5days) at the start of a new month you have to pay the whole month with no reimbursement. So end up paying almost $600 for 5 days. Because that's was the easiest we could move in the our new place. After a year 4 months of paying storage fees with them going out all the time. This is how they treat people!!!!

The facilities are clean. The staff will help you get set up but that's about it. Security is…read moreminimal. Cameras only cover the exterior of the buildings, but there aren't any covering the interior, where they are needed. We had a unit for a year while our house was being built. Our unit was robbed and half of the contents either taken or damaged. The security cameras revealed nothing and were so grainy, they were nearly useless. And since there are no cameras covering the interior hallways, where they would be the most helpful, there was no way to find out anything about the robbery. The staff did the minimum required, and the management was more concerned with making sure they weren't held accountable than helping us find the thieves. Based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend Compass Self Storage. They need to improve their security.

Don't use this storage facility. I had the worse experience ever. When I attempted to resolve a…read moreproblem with my April payment I couldn't reach anyone by phone . I received a message the number could not be reached. I reconfirmed the number and no success. A text message was attempted but while we awaited a reply. I physically drove the facility. I however discovered I was locked out of the facility. After about a hour we were provided a different number to call. The person we spoke to was rude and was reluctant to meet us at the site. I later learned he was the owner. This facility is not staffed so you're out of luck if there is a problem because their phone doesn't work either. I received three different numbers to call via text. Finally once the owner arrived on site he was belligerent, condescending and belittled me. At one point he called me a fool and said he hated people of my generation. This guy has no business working with the public. Total loser ! I gave them one star because it's required but I would have given him zero.

Called the number on the door for customer service to ask and all the automated system cares about is your account and payment. Other than that it will hang up when pushing any other numbers to try to bypass questions to talk to someone.

Bad customer service. The manager is very rude. I just…read morerented my first unit at this location and we moved a big load in Saturday 05/13/23 evening at 4:45... the gate was not working to get in so we went through the gate by the office. As we go in with a load the manager comes out to tell us we only have 15 minutes or she will lock us in. I told her we can not unload everything in 15 minutes because my storage is on the 3rd floor. She said she will lock us in if we aren't out by 5pm. I told her I pay rent here and I have to move today, she replied, and said "yes, I know you, we've dealt with you"... I am new here and never dealt with any one from this place with any problems until now. How does she "know" me?? We finished as fast as we could and the time was 5:27pm we went to leave but we couldn't get out because she locked us in. We were not the only ones locked in, another customer was locked in too. We called the office and no one answered. We knocked on the back door and she didn't answer. Her car was parked there and she was inside the office. After a long moving day this was very stressful to deal with. I won't rent here long or recommend this place to anyone because this is no way to treat people. After a long wait, we finally got out, no thanks to the manager.
