I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a safe, clean, secure facility located in the middle of Rhode Island just 2 minites off the highway. I cannot recommend this place enough read more

They were available for last minute storage. We rented a 5x15 for a mower and other misc items. When we pulled up, we noticed the door was not 5 ft, which would not fit our mower. The gentlemen was very nice and due to no other storage units available last minute, we kept it. Here are the measurements of the door and inside unit. Just be aware before purchasing. read more

The same exact thing I just experienced by the same woman and man. This is really unexceptable and very unprofessional, the foul language that was spoken to me. I came through the gates at 8:45 and didn't realize I was about 6-8 minutes over 9pm. I was then screamed at and also cussed at by the gentleman with Kathy the property manager. I really can't believe my experience and will be canceling my storage unit and reporting them. read more

If I could leave 0 stars that would be more appropriate. My husband & I rented a unit back in April of 2023 & it is June 2023 now. We are paid all the way up until November. We use the storage unit mainly for storage (obviously) & order fulfillment for our online business. So we are there a lot, which is one of the reasons we choose public storage bc of there ad stating "Think of us as your home away from home" it's an outside unit & it's open daily from 6am-9pm. We have NEVER, let me repeat NEVER tried to SLEEP or LIVE in our OUTDOOR STORAGE UNIT yet we were just threatened by "Kathy" and another male who doesn't even work there with eviction, police, & now bodily harm if we don't leave! Mind you IM PAYING THESE PEOPLE TO RENT THIS SPACE!! I'm a homeowner, business owner, & I'm in my 1st trimester of a high risk pregnancy & I'm being treated like some homeless, vagrant, criminal!! I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life. I'm at a loss at why I suddenly am not allowed to be at the space I pay for. How is that loitering?? Please, tell me!! read more

Worst place to store your items and public storage itself has THE worst customer service ever. Not even can the coronavirus encourage kindness and and change the carelessness of these employees. Never again. Keep my things I'd rather never come back. I know next time to choose wisely with my storage selection. read more

Con Job! We rented a space at Public Storage. We expected a unit that was not leaking. uh oh. Buyer beware at Public Storage. We had thousands of dollars worth of items ruined from rain. Not a tornado, not a nor easter, not a hurricane...just an average rain. The property manager told us oh well....you'll have to take it up with your insurance company. Why is this our problem to deal with? Also, we have a deductible for our insurance. Why should we have to pay that if your leaky roof is what has caused the damage? The lack of professionalism is uncanny for a PUBLICLY TRADED COMPANY. When we rented this facility we rented DRY STORAGE. So far, NO ONE has helped us. I'll revise this listing if they correct the problem but only if they make it right. read more

Nice place ,very friendly I would recommend public to friends .u- haul is twice the price .

Mouse poop all over. Urine feces and all our stuff is destroyed. A big waste of money for 6 months of rental and the staff will do nothing for us. Please never give any consideration to give your business to this company. I can say more and will but I am waiting for a chance of some restitution and good will by the company and staff. I am not happy about this and very disappointed not to mention upset by the total loss and waste of money. This place is a mess and I am so sorry I entrusted the place which is infested. read more

After a few months the bill went up, did not expect that or warned when we took the unit. The ceiling leaked and many of our things were ruined by water damage and mold. We showed the manager and she told us they would provide a dumpster for whatever was ruined. Also found dead mice in front of many of the units. When we requested a dumpster was told they do not do that and we would have to remove the ruined things ourselves. When we told the manager she told us they would provide a dumpster she denied it. Called their 1800 number requesting the district manager's number. They would not give it to me and was once again told that we would have to remove the items ourselves. read more

Let me see .. I had a unit at the Cranston, RI. facility for over 2.5 years. I put a brand new bed (along with some other stuff) in my unit that I paid for every month as the fees continued to increase on me. I thought I was paying for my stuff to be dry right... Well the bed has mold on it. I have called the district manger and the building manger sent her an email for me. Guess what no reply from either. They don't even have the respect to call there clients and apologize for the inconvenience that there building has created for there clients. You wont get dry storage here... GO ELSE WHERES..To much money for my stuff to be no good why did I bother. Very UNSATISFIED, Melissa read more

OMG, what a nightmare! Mouldering mattresses on the grounds, rusting and moldy odors in units, slimy, damp mildew stench. And did I forget to say the place looks like the ones on TV-where the bad guys hide bodies? How on Earth is this dump still in business? The Board of Health needs to step in here immediately! read more

Was told on the phone that the initial cost was going to be 25.00 to hold the unit. When I arrived, they informed me that I couldn't use my own lock, that I had to buy one from them at 20 bucks!! Also, no mention that I had to also get mandatory insurance. I was out of pocket over 60 bucks just to get the unit. read more

Great service. Very comfortable atmosphere. I would recommend this facility to everyone

Clean facility and friendly service. Used for temporary storage at a reasonable rate.

This was the best experience I've had at a storage facility. I've used 4 in the past 3 years for work. The manager, Kari, is great. The road inside is always free from debris and the snow plowing is great. It is well-lit. Look at the dates on reviews before you make a decision. I had my unit for a year. read more
