My good furniture were scratched and some were broken especially our beds. They work by the hour but they're taking their grandest time. Beware of this movers. They're not really affordable and quality movers.

Overview: Had a wonderful experience yesterday with this…read moremoving team. Had 4 movers at a very competitive price who were willing to move my husband and I out of two apartments and into our new house. They were kind and considerate of our home, and worked very quickly and efficiently. This team was excellent to work with, and Daniel was very communicative of any questions we had before, during, or after our move. They even removed trash for us and set us up with local cleaners to do a move out clean and carpet clean of our apartments for a great price. Can't recommend them enough! -- Setting up the move: I reached out through Yelp and they were extremely communicative there, answering all my questions and following up on my timeline. We did a final discussion over the phone before scheduling the move. Daniel was open to discussing pricing and adjusting the size of the team accordingly. He estimated around 6 hours for this move all in, and the final timing was 5.5 hours from the time they left their warehouse until they returned to it, so his estimate was very accurate! One small thing - I never received a confirmation email for their services ahead of time, which I had asked for, but Daniel was great about keeping in touch over text and made sure to respond to my confirmation about a week and a half before, and then send a text to confirm a few days before as well as the day before. So this is a very small complaint, and realistically wasn't something I needed to worry about! So just a heads up to expect communication by phone/text -- they will absolutely follow through! -- Moving day: They were able to move us out of our two 900 sq ft and 700 sq ft apartments in a little under 2hrs. Once they arrived at the new house, it took around an hour to move everything in. (To note we had mostly boxes and very little furniture, but was still much faster than I expected!) Each of the 4 team members was extremely courteous and very respectful of our home. I stood by the truck to let them know what rooms to put things in and they followed all the instructions to a T. We had a lot of boxes and trash from new purchases in our basement, including a huge 85" tv box, and they took all of it for us and loaded it into their truck after moving in our things. Was a small fee for taking the trash and was a huge help for us. We didn't know ahead of time we would need this service, and the team was flexible with us and agreed to this day of, which was exactly what we needed! -- After move: Daniel had set me up with a local mover to do a move out clean and carpet clean on one of our apartments, and he made sure to follow up to make sure I was able to get in contact with the cleaners and that they did a good job afterwards. Was a huge help to be able to set this up in one go and was very appreciative of the follow up! (Also the cleaners did a great job and were flexible with our schedule!) -- Final thoughts: This was an excellent company whose team did a great job and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone moving in this area. We will likely use them again in the future due to the quality of our experience yesterday. Their prices were extremely fair and they are willing to work within your budget to make sure you get the move you need for the price that works for you. They are flexible in their services, and do everything from packing and moving to junk removal and cleaning services, and are truly a one stop shop for all your moving needs. If you are unsure about who to use for movers, don't be -- hire J&R Affordable Moving!

It cost me nearly $6,000 in assets to do business with this company…read more Was a bit shocked to find out that my account was $70 behind and that my stuff was already auctioned all in one text message. The part I'm accountable for is that I didn't update an expired card on my account but the part I feel they're accountable for is not communicating this information to me using all available contact info in my profile. It was a cool text to get but I'm glad they at least got in contact with the one method in my account they never tried until they sold the belongings I entrusted to them for storage and the sensitive information contained within. I'm very vulnerable to identity theft now because of this. I understand as a business this is the best case scenario for them but it sucks because this was easily preventable if they'd successfully contacted me. It was only $70 and they sold things that were very important to me and my family to the lowest bidder. Just be sure that you're pro-active in your communication because they will do the bare minimum legally required of them to contact you as they are heavily incentivized to sell your valuables and family heirlooms for even a minor delinquency.

The truck was full of gas, very clean, and they allowed me to leave my car parked in the lot. They also have funny signs in the bathroom for guests and it made me laugh! My issue is, which I did not knock the rating down for because this is not John and Sebastian but really a U-Haul rule, is that you cannot tow with the pickup truck. There is a tow hitch, but a lock on it. I did not notice the lock until I got back to the house with the pickup truck. I called John and he was super nice explaining that you cannot tow with the Uhaul pickup unless it is a uhaul trailer. I do feel this is misleading on the website when you rent the pickup because it states that there are tow hitches on all pickup trucks...so one would assume you could tow with it- responsibly of course! I understand there are weight limits with towing and I would be responsible. This was just super frustrating because when all was said and done it was 130.00 for a rental that I could not use. Again- not upset with John and Sebastian but the Uhaul policy.

I gave plenty of notice of my intention to vacate, and moved out prior to the end of the month. I was charged for the storage unit back in March. I addressed this issue then. Nothing has occurred with being reimbursed. Fast forward to April, I am charged for a storage fee again (Now the total is up to $123.50 owed back to me). I call, they verified that I had moved out, and received an apology and a promise that I would be contacted by the manager, and that they would return my money. Well here we are in May, and I was charged this evening for the storage unit again. That brings the total to $185.25 owed back to me. I called them again and left a heated voicemail demanding that this situation be resolved by Friday. Above is my initial post from earlier this month. I am proud to announce I have an update to my situation. My situation has been resolved, and I received full reimbursement. I would like to say thank you to Mr. Richard Graham (the owner) for personally looking into and addressing this issue. I appreciate him taking care of this matter, and recouping the fees that I was assessed. Overall, I had no issues with storing my belongings there when I was occupying storage. Dewayne

WARNING!!! DO NOT RENT A UNIT FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!!!…read more I have rented from various storage facilities over the years during many moves and this is by far the WORST experience I have ever had. I rented a 5x5 unit from them but upon even moving in, even stepping foot in this facility, I realized I needed a larger unit. I called to see if I could be changed to a larger unit and was told that I'd have to just pay for BOTH units for the following month and then "move out" of a unit I have NEVER EVEN MOVED IN TO. I decided that I'd go with a different facility completely at this point and asked for my account to be closed to which I was again told I'd have to "move out" in person... MOVE OUT OF A FACILITY IVE NEVER BEEN TO?! About two weeks ago someone reached out to me about my unit saying it was red tagged or something to that nature. I said once again, I've never been to this facility, I've never been in the unit and I asked to stop being contacted and billed for this weeks ago. The man I spoke with asked if they had my "permission" to access to the unit to confirm it's empty. I told him that I don't even know how to access the unit so sure! have at! 3 days later I'm charged for the unit. The first person I spoke to said that they could see id never been there and could see that it was confirmed empty. They disconnected and when I called back I got "Darian"... she said that I won't be charged after this month but they have to "confirm" I've "moved out" so that's why I was charged again. You're joking. Everything is electronic... you know that I've NEVER been there and it doesn't take a week to determine whether I've moved out or not when I have quite literally NEVER moved in. I have disputed this with my bank and the bank is getting kickback. The charge is minimal but it's the principal of this. I'm going to pursue legal action if the charge is not reversed and I've already reported them to the BBB. Charging people for services you aren't providing them is illegal and trying to convince them that you need all this time to confirm x, y & z may work on someone who doesn't understand that all of this is electronic but it doesn't work on me. It's not bad enough y'all have had INSIDE JOB theft? You want to continue the bad reputation by charging people for things they aren't even receiving? I went with another facility and have had nothing but the BEST customer service and EASY payments, move ins, access, etc. save yourself the stress and do not even risk working with a facility that's this scummy.

I hate this place. There's nobody physically there to help with anything! They have a "virtual…read moreassistant", and each time I've used it, it takes at least twice as long to get anything done! There is a "manager" on site, but who knows what he does. He doesn't help the customers. My rent more than tripled in the last couple of years. Out of nowhere I got an email that said my storage unit was found unsecured. I just moved to a different (smaller, less expensive) unit a month prior. When I called to try and get some answers, nobody answers and I leave a message. I also sent a reply email. Someone finally called me back a couple of hours later and explained that my unit was likely locked open. They put a lock on my unit and the email said I was being charged for it. I go over to my unit to investigate, and what a runaround! First, I get there and my original lock is nowhere to be found. So I go back to the main office. I then get told that they know nothing about my lock and that I probably had a break in. I go back over to my unit to look at the contents and nothing appears to be disturbed. Meanwhile, I have to use the password key pad for each entry and exit, and the new explanation makes even less sense. I purchase yet another lock from them via virtual assistant. So very frustrating that I can't just talk to a person in person. It's a huge waste of my time. When I asked why they have a manager on site the assistant said they are there to clean the property. Sounds pretty cush to me. I'm not planning on staying there much longer. Don't rent a storage unit here.
