My Rent started out at $113 a month and that was not a special or first month special. That was the normal price. They started going up on my rent every three months. It got as high as $342.60 within 2 years. I called corporate and they did reduce it down to $239. Three months later it started going up again and went to $288. called corporate again and they brought it back down to $265. Three months later it went up to $288. I got a notice that it was going up to $325 so I got my stuff out and would never recommend anyone doing business with them. I have rented storage space other places and they would not go up on rent. The one time another facility did go up on my rent after 2 years it was only a $15 increase. Stay away from this company. they are crooks. read more

When this was Jepco, everything was a-okay. Now that Public Storage has purchased them, we've had to move out. - The prices kept increasing. While it was only a little here and a little there, it added up over a few months and our fee increased by $30 over four months. - The front gate is constantly broken and left open. Including at night. When you pay for the service of security, you expect security. - We paid extra for climate control. Although I'm not sure why since the unit we were in was never controlled properly. This was the biggest reason we left. It was more hot and humid INSIDE the unit than it was outside. Shelving units? Ruined. Art? Warped. Books? Swollen. The people up front are nice enough, but don't really seem to know anything about PS as an organization. Anytime you have questions, they direct you to call an 800 number. So yeah, not worth it. read more

I rented a storage unit here a while back and it just occurred to me that I should review it. I rented a pretty standard 10x10 storage unit because I needed a place for my stuff. I was moving and I didn't have enough room for all the stuff I've accumulated over the years in my new place. I headed over and met the manager, who was able to help me quickly complete the paperwork... and 10 minutes later I was the proud renter of a storage unit. I went in to check it out and it was nice and clean. There's a single flushmount bare light bulb attached to the interior wall to give you some light inside. The bare walls go almost all the way up to the top, presumably to allow for some ventilation. You can't see into your neighbors unit, but you could certainly throw something over the top of the wall if you needed to. Not that I would know anything about that.... The hours are pretty convenient and they have several options for making payments (auto draft, credit card, etc). There's nothing really special about it. It's just a storage unit. But, if you need a place for your stuff, this is definitely a good option. read more

Over the 3 years I have been renting an RV parking space here, the price has increased every year from $46 monthly to now $60 monthly. They recently announced big changes in the hrs of access to the property. Formerly it was 6am to 9pm. Now it will be limited to 9:30am to 6pm seriously limiting access to my site. I have also had problems with the employees here parking their cars and golf cart in a position that reduces the entry lane by several ft. I will be canceling soon... read more

I have had a storage here for over 4 years. We move stuff in and out every month luggage, decorations, Christmas stuff etc. We went in last Friday and in was full of rat pee and poop. Management gave us some rat packets to through in the unit. We are going back in Thursday to clean out the unit but I'll bet the whole building is infested and Public storage is not telling anyone and not doing anything about it. I'll never rent from them again. read more

Initially we were satisfied with the storage facility because of the location and availability. However, the prices of both of our units were increased within the first three months. We moved our entire house full of furniture into storage. When doing this, we expected much better service. Within a year of moving our stuff into storage, rates had increased by more than 30 percent. The rates were even increased well above what the website claims as regular price. The office always says they can't do anything. So, I contacted the district manager. No returned phone calls. No returned customer service phone calls. We felt like we were stuck with the rate increases because of the volume of stuff we had in storage and how difficult and time consuming it would be to move our stuff out. Then, in December 2017, they changed the accessibility to essentially be only during bankers hours. This made it very difficult for accessing our stuff during the week, especially. This was the last straw for us. The office didn't care about our desire to access our stuff and neither did the district manager. Over the holidays we labored and vacated one of our units. We will be vacating the other unit this week. They just do not care about their customers. Save yourself time, inconvenience, and money. Find somewhere else to store your stuff. read more

I was in this facility for over a year. After one year was up they raised my rent by $20. When I called and asked why they said they raise their rates periodically. I told them their competitors were $50 less a month and if they raised my rent I would move out. The following month they raised my rent another $10. When I moved out I discovered rats had destroyed many of my items. I spoke to the property manager about the rats and she admitted they knew they had a problem. I have several hundred dollars of damage from rats chewing and peeing on my stuff. Many boxes had holes in them from the rats and the box was full of rat poop. After moving out they charged me another months rent. I asked them why they are still charging me rent and they said because I moved out on the first of the month and they are entitled to that months rent. When I was moving out they told me I had to be out by the end of the day on the first. They have refused to return my calls and refused to refund my last months rent. I would not recommend this place. Hours are very restrictive and the manager does not return calls. I would never recommend this storage facility. read more

Office staff as of 5/1/18 (Amanda) does a great job! However, the decision to limit access hours to only 9:30-6 SUCKS! This really sucks. Especially in the summer when I need to get in or out of my spot before 9 and after 6. Also, if they are so damned concerned about security, then why are most of the parking lot lights not working? The front sign and driveway lights also are not lit. This place is close to being considered a dump. It could be way better than that, and Amanda agrees. If you really cared about customer service, you'd find a way to open up your hours AND keep it secure. Can't imagine the lost revenue you've experienced by corporate management making such piss poor decisions. I've already moved one of my units to a 24/7 place, and for 20% less cost. Keep it up and you'll be closing your doors at this location sooner than you think. Or maybe someone who knows how to provide great service to storage customers will take over the place. read more
