I had a great relationship with old ownership. Storage Sense never notified me about new ownership nor did I sign any new contract regarding new policies. Charged me late fee on my acct without notifying me for being late then on top of it tried charging me a fee for using my credit card. I asked them if they could help me out with my first time being late and I was told they have no way to return my late fee at that location. They gave me a number to call. I called it it rang, selected options to speak with someone , then I was disconnected everytime. I ended up driving there to make my payment and the sign said open with no one there. So here I am waiting around for someone to open the door. Called customer service and they told me they would call manager and someone would call me back within 5 mins. No one called so I decided to move all my stuff out and take my loses. I'm a single father with 3 toddlers. I have a very busy schedule. For this to happen to me with terrible customer service really bothers me and I hope everyone understands my frustration with this new company. I highly recommend you use other services in the area like affordable which I have used for over 10 years, love them. I choose to switch over a year ago to be closer to my living location. Well guess what I'm back at affordable. Even though I've added 2 miles to my commute at least I know I'm dealing with awesome customer service. Thanks for nothing during these tough times.

Not a protected storage facility as they claim. Numerous motorhomes were vandalized with catalytic…read moreconverters cut out. The thieves did not even have to break in, they climbed underneath the fence since they had about a foot and a half clearance. They let me watch the outdated video video footage but since the system is outdated it was only motion activated by vehicles. Since this event now they added more rock around the fence which admits negligence on their part but still will not compensate any of us RV owners in any way. Now we are all stuck with the repair bills of over $900 on top of the storage fees. The facility communications did not let any other rent owners know of what happened and during this time I had to let everyone know. The thieves were in their facility a week before this and cut the power as well while stealing converters. The facility can keep saying they are sorry, you signed a contract and this can happen anywhere but a great business owner would offer more than just talk to its customers due to their negligence.

When we came to move everything out... the unit had flooded at some point. EVERYTHING is destroyed. We were reassured by the staff member that everything was okay because we had the insurance. The insurance company came back with an exclusion in our policy that nothing is covered since it was via flooding or surface waters that got into the storage unit.
