I tried to move some things into my new unit on the second floor, only to discover both elevators are currently (as of 4/23/26) out of order. From the loading dock I could read the sign for the closest elevator that says it's broken (2-3 weeks now). However, it was only after I had fully loaded a cart and pushed it down the hallway that I discovered the state of the second elevator. We could clearly see an employee was present in the office, but he was not proactive with informing us of the inaccessible state of the building. I could have been spared from loading and reloading the car with 150+ lbs of items. The employee said the second elevator just broke down recently, which could have been fine if it weren't for the fact that the first elevator was not serviced in a timely manner. To add insult to injury, he said one of the elevators was supposed to get fixed today "in the next couple hours" and that he'd call us once it got resolved. Well, it's past 10pm and that didn't happen. Without the elevators, we (and even the employee) are unable to access the second floor. There was a deconstructed couch just sitting by the loading dock, which seemed, potentially, like evidence of another customer who had an issue accessing their unit. Public Storage should notify customers if there are any issues that may impact accessibility to their products and services. To people considering this place, I highly advise taking your business elsewhere. Sure, it seems clean--but at what cost? Would I recommend this business to my enemy? I'm not that cruel. read more

They have a significant roof issue that needs to be fixed. I now live out of Philly and my unit has a significant roof leak that ruined a lot of my stuff. Their response so far is that I should claim it in insurance. Since the stuff can not be replaced they need to focus on fixing their roof not telling people to claim the loss on insurance. They have had at least five leaks and they need to fix the roof before other units are also ruined. Waiting for a manager to return my call. So far no response but I was able to move downstairs away from some of the leak issues. read more

The property manager and the weekend contact were very nice and helpful. The property manager helped with options of storage units and was very patient and informative. The property has an inside drop-off area with flat beds for unloading. It felt safe and was kept clean. The property manager even offered and helped in unloading my "stuff" into the unit. Update on my review: Pro: They now have 5 or 6 carts, so they're more readily available. I'm not sure whether that's a coincidence or they read my review. Con: After only 3 months renting the unit, they increased my rent. WTF? Shouldn't that be an annual thing? Original review: Facility is clean and renting a unit was easy. One of the selling points was carts that we could use to move things into or out of the unit. Unfortunately there are only two carts and they're always taken when we show up. A faculty of this size should have more than two carts available and they should have a policy/signs posted that you can't use both carts when other people are there. Maybe during business hours, the carts need to be signed out and there's a time limit? Something needs to change. I'll update my review if this improves, but right now it's incredibly frustrating given the amount I pay on a monthly basis. read more

Ok, so lets start with the PROs: - easy but mostly controlled access with a unique lock - friendly and helpful employees - they call you the day bon or efore late fees are due Now the CONs: - Overpriced: with all taxes and fees factored in I myself, and your mileage may vary, pay over $160/mo for their most basic slab of concrete. Be wary of the promotional promises. I have no idea if this is true, I am just stating what I believe based on personal and unverified experience. - Autopay or AutoPenalty: they only invoice via email, and usually on the day the bill is due. IME they only accept a checking account and if you don't pay immediately by the due date they charge 20% extra. They probably do this intentionally to capitalize on those that may not immediately have cash in their checking, and to avoid fallout from complaints of predatory bahavior. I have no idea if this is true, I am just stating what I believe based on personal and unverified experience. - Difficult access off of 202; the Paoli exit which is practically right next to the business is westbound only (and otherwise proceeds down to US 30) so you have to find a place to bang a U-turn or get off a mile away at Valley Forge Road and head down Swedesford. This doesn't seem like a big deal until you've moving out. I have no idea if this is true, I am just stating what I believe based on personal and unverified experience. In the end, the employees are great but the business is a shark. Ask yourself how valuable what you want to store is really worth; it may be cheaper to sell or give it away on eBay rather than make yourself hostage to this company's bottom line. Overpriced after promotion runs out. I started off paying roughly 130 and every month it went up. Haven't been there for a year yet and it's at 180. I had a 10x10 which is decent sized so I guess it's expected it but I'm not sticking around to find out if it will continue to grow. Originally known as Suregrard, the current PS needs some investment in: carts, garage doors that open and close on command, HVAC for the areas designated as "heated" or "climate controlled". They get you in the beginning by offering you a cheap rate, but then raise it about 10% each year! Far far greater than the rate of inflation, but they know they have you hooked once you move your stuff in as it's a hassle to move to a different company somewhere else. You can avoid the increase by having a family member rent another unit there at the low price at the end of the first year, cancel your account and move your stuff to the new locker. The following year you can then rent another locker at the intro price and move again.. Otherwise if you can afford the increasing rent, it's a good, accessible facility. Rosie is the property manager, and did an outstanding job explaining everything, and even gave me a ride to get lunch while waiting for my unload crew to arrive. Great to unload from a dock with a 26' truck. Only thing that would be better is to have a small dock plate. Some folks complained about carts and availability. We have been renting a large unit here since 2009 and have no complaints the facility is clean and well lit. The indoor setting feels very safe and secure. Moving days have always gone smoothly in the garage accessed loading dock or ramp that are protected from the elements. The store sells a myriad of boxes and moving supplies which is very convenient! I would highly recommend this storage facility! I'm told small units can often be hard to come by so expect a waiting list for less than 10 x 12 ft! read more

Great location, very clean, well lighted and maintained storage facility. My only issue, safety: Building was very big with multiple long winding hallways. Some units were quite a distance from the front door and down long desolate hallways, far from civilization. As a woman, I would not come here after hours or alone if my unit was not outside or very near the door where you drive into (close to the store). I am sure they have cameras but probably not manned (would catch a crime after the fact). read more

THE WORST! I've been renting for a year-and-a-half. Did NOT receive the $1 first month rate - they said because not too many available (supply vs demand). Have a 10x15 unit. They jacked my rent up $50 AS SOON AS THEY WERE ABLE per the contract. I didn't spend much time going in and out as it was stuff that I don't need/use much. Hadn't been in a few months .. come in to find MOLD over MOST of my stuff! When I asked about it, they said "there must be a water source for mold". I didn't/don't have water in there! It's THEIR UNIT .. I asked about a leak, etc .. "Nope!". MAJOR disappointment. MAJOR damage to my stuff. Apparently, mold IS NOT covered by the insurance they make you purchase. They have since jacked my rent UP YET AGAIN! That's how they treat their loyal, LONG-TERM customers .. by raising the rent! HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT rent a unit here! read more

I've been very satisfied with my experience here. The location is convenient, great parking and truck bays, and the facility is very clean. I've rented a large unit for several years, and it has been a stress free experience. Bonita, the manager, is friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like my belongings were in good hands, my questions were welcomed and answered in full. She gave me reminder calls and I eventually opted to sign up for auto payments, which was the best option for me. I purchased boxes to replace my old Lowe's boxes that were buckling, the price was reasonable and of high quality. I will be moving away, so my stay is ending, and am actually a little sad to go! I signed up a few days ago and just moved my mother-in-laws items into storage today. Both times I was at the storage facility, I was greeting by a Bonita and her welcoming smile. The facility is easy to find, the truck pulled right up inside and out of the 90 degree heat today, and unloaded into the unit. Both the store and the storage facility were clean and well-organized.
