So far so good. I have had my stuff stored at this location for the past 6 months. No rent increases and no lock issues to date. (Knock on wood). Customer Service is above average. The grounds are clean, and my gate code always works. It's only a little sketchy in the afternoon once the main office is closed. Maybe its just me, but i get the heebie jeebies being there alone. If it wasn't for the employees of this location I would give negative stars if I could. Public storage is such a scam! I hate this company, they are scummy raise your rates with next to no notice, they will lock you out from you account, after they decided to take you off autopsy with no notice even though you've had no issues in the past and then when you get the notice it wont recognize your account but hey you can still call in to make a payment for $10 extra dollars... dont even get me started on the contract with these guys. They put alot of shady gray area things in there. Stay away is my only advice! read more

I started out 13 months ago at $65, within 2 months increased to $85, I am now paying $108 for a 5x5. I feel like they do a "bait and switch" Just went to another storage unit and they guarantee no price increase for a year AND they give you a lock. Won't use public storage again, no one is ever there. read more

We started out with a promotion of $96/month. After the promotion, it went to $113. We are currently paying $252/month (Need I say More) !!!!! I'm now retired and living on social security. I contacted them to see if they offer any type of senior discount or anything but NO so I'll be looking for a new unit as soon as I fully recover from surgery. They did some work around the units and all of our stuff was covered in thick dust and sticky stuff. We screened off the entry wall with plastic like they suggested. We've had to clean anything we've pulled out, even from the far back of the unit. Other than the price and this other issue when they worked on it, it's been fine. read more

Today I helped my mom move out of this public storage because of the price of monthly rent. During our move the lady in the office towed her car claiming we abandoned it. casting 383 to get the car out of impound. A hour later the office lady broke into the unit after we left to go take our second load to our house charged my mom 75.00 despite us informing her by phone we would be back tomorrow to finish. The storage was paid up until 8/1/23 and now occurred more charges due to the office lady being disgruntle that we were ending the contract and moving out because the price of the monthly rent. Do not rent from this company. the office lady should be fired. read more

Christine is the only reason for the 5 stars instead of the 1 star I would have given. I have had problems since day one which was around the end of last month, January. I upgrading in size online no problem. when we showed up we realized it was still too small and was told since we hadn't used the storage yet we were still new customers and could keep the promotion. Each time we paid a $1 plus the difference in price. The guy there was so overwhelmed he charged us for another lock and said if we don't need two locks he could donate it to someone who does for us. He said he can't take locks back which was not true. He never told us to exit out the other gate. When I went in that same night to talk to him he was with another customer who also was frustrated with him. He then called his manager who instructed him on speaker how to help her. I thought he was gonna walk out and quit at any moment, he was that stressed about his new job. Next day I go in and Christine the site manager saved the day! She fixed all the issues we had and is extremely personable. She remembers us and makes us feel good about choosing this location to store our belongings. Thanks Christine!!! read more

The manager, Christine, is awesome! I did everything online which was very convenient but had a question so I stopped by the office. Christine was personable and helpful. Then when I saw her again the next day she asked me how things were going (my apartment flooded) and remembered small details which is always a huge sign of someone who knows what customer service is about! The office was not open even though the sign in stated it was. I was checking in for the first time and I had my own lock and didn't want to be charged for a new one. I tried using the phone number on the door of the "opened" office and ended up talking with a computer that was still learning it tells me. As in "could you re-ask your questions differently?". Very frustrating. I finally calmed down and then realized there was an app that I had downloaded so I tried that. That did allow me in and I did find the unit. And inside the unit was a lock I don't want or pay for. I did load up the unit and put my lock on it. Now I still have a lock to some how need to turn back to them. I went to location initially to speak to someone regarding a storage unit. no one was in the office and so I had to go online. it was confusing regarding the different size storage units and I would have liked to be able to check the units out before purchasing. the representative I spoke to on the phone that was assisting me with my online process. he told me there was someone on site to be able to assist me. so when I was complete with setting up my account and process payment the respresentative told me to go to the office and someone would set me up and give me a lock for my storage unit. billing started right away even though I told him I wanted it for the next day. I went to storage facility the next day with a loaded vehicle and helper that I paid for and was able to get through the gate fairly easily. got to the door where my unit was but was unable to open the door. I called on-site person for help but never recieved a call or anything. went to office and knocked and there was no one. so I knocked on door that said employees only and a kid answered the door and rudely told me it was a private residence and his mother was unavailable but he would call her. I walked back to unit and waited some more. after 30 min of waiting in the heat of 85 degree weather I called manager again with no response. so I contacted customer service . was only able to get a representative once I pushed option for new service. they were not very helpful either. after an hour of all of this we were finally able to jiggle and pull the door open that was jammed shut. my lock was in the unit. whatever happened to customer service where people actually helped you when business hours are open. there should available for new clients setting up their storage unit and explain the process initially!!! this all started approximately at noon and it is 10 pm now and I still have not received a callback from the manager on site. if I would have known the service I would be receiving, I would have signed up with another company . I had a good experience at this location several years ago and that's why I chose to go to this location . it will be the last time for me!!!! read more

I have rented a unit at this location since 2010. I'm writing this review as I finish scheduling my move out because where I live now has storage of a similar size, at 2/3 of the price. First, the positive points. Suzanne and the rest of the staff on location are nice, very helpful,and do a great job of keeping the grounds clean. I would rate them and the location 5 stars. They are the only reason I gave higher than 1 star. Unfortunately, there's no way to do a split review/rating of the specific location and the corporation that lords over it. In response to Amy F.'s review, I had my own lock and was allowed to use it, you just have to bring the right kind of lock. And now... The rest of the story. Public storage as a company, in a word, sucks. First, is the questionable practice of requiring you to purchase insurance from them. Lots of fine print, little coverage, more money for them. Next, they average a 10% rent increase every 6 months or so. It gets old fast. Also, corporate customer service is lousy. When I received a rent increase notice in the mail that put me at almost 33% higher than what my original rent was, I started looking around for a new unit, and discovered an advertised price that was less than I was currently paying at the same location. I asked the staff if there was something that could be done to make an adjustment. That's when I learned that their hands were tied when it came to pricing, corporate handles it all. When I contacted corporate, they basically said, if I didn't want to pay what they were charging me, I could move out. So I did, into the unit next door to mine. That reduced my rent to $10 less than I was was currently paying, not counting the pending increase. Finally, the late fee is nearly usurious. The one late payment I made taught me a lesson. They charge 20% as a late fee. That's more than my apartment complex, both in percentage and dollar amount. The company needs to remember the customer is who keeps them in business. Do a Google search for "Public Storage complaints," you'll unfortunately see my experience is not unique. To Suzanne and the rest of the staff, please understand this is not a reflection on you. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! First i signed up for auto pay when a gentelman was working... he apaprently didn't sign me up for auto pay and i was charged a late fee that they refused to waive! I moved out shortly after on July 15th and corporate is telling me i don't get a refund for the remainder of the month that we didn't use it! Do NOT rent from here!!! Not to mention we got a storage unit three times the size for $10 more up the road!!!!! read more

Been renting two units here since 2000. My rent has more than tripled in that time yet no increase in services. They seem to offer short term renters great deals but do not reward long timers. Everytime I have to update my credit card there never seems to be anyone in the office....always a "Back in 20 minutes" sign out....even 30 minutes after opening; they always seem to be on break. Additionally, they removed the gutters and downspouts on the majority of the buildings over 2 years ago and have never replaced them. I get drenched getting into either of my units on a rainy day and the rain water has leaked into the units under the door when heavy. I have asked repeatedly about new gutters and I only get "that wasn't our decision...talk to corporate." read more

Complete lack of customer service by on site representative Luke while trying to finalize our lease. We have rented Public Storage facilities (currently still have one) in Texas for 2 years. We reserved 2 storage spaces at this Aloha facility during our move to the Portland area. Upon arrival, we had nothing but poor service from Luke. After driving 2,000 miles 1. Luke suggested we go to another location because his internet was down. 2. When internet did "come back up", Luke would not let us start loading after we have provide our credit card. We had limited time with our unloading help, but this was obviously of no concern to Luke. 3. Luke would not honor reserved pricing because it had not been 7 days since we closed our facility in Dallas (we were moving from Dallas to Portland). Exactly what Luke wanted us to do for 7 days is unknown. We found another company to store our belongings. They stayed late to allow us to complete the rental and get started unloading. Much better experience than the Aloha Public Storage. Our Public Storage experiences at two facilities in the Dallas Texas area were also much better. read more

I work for a moving company and we were delivering a clients belongings to this facility. I couldn't believe the way we were treated. The two employees, husband and wife, seemed to do and say everything they could to make us feel uncomfortable and unwanted. My two coworkers and myself are all clean cut. We have no tattoos, we wear company uniforms, we are well groomed, and all of us are very polite and respectful. While we were standing out front of their office waiting for our client to fill out paper work the man came and told us we were intimidating their customers, which there was only one, who later told us she never said that. They were rude about which way we wanted to pull the trailer in, they treated our client like a criminal. They made remarks about your clients sexual orientation, and never once smiled or said a friendly word or thanked us for our business. I don't ever plan on needing to ever use a public storage but if I do it definitely won't be this place. read more

Can you give no stars?? This place has been the pits from the start. First the lady never tells you on the phone that they require a special lock for your unit..until you show up with a truck load of your stuff and all your pals and she won't let you in until you buy one at a convenient $20 price from them. Then the unit she shows is nothing like the description and to even try and squeeze a couch at that angle is impossible...yay another unit. Also they don't tell you when your first bill is due and call to harass you about being late...... I'm now sitting in the parking lot for the 4th time in the last 3 months waiting for the lady because every time I go to use my given code it never works and I have to wait for her. Hey look some old guy just made it in with his code... Really wish they could get their shit together on this. It makes it rough on someone who doesn't have all day every time I show up to grab something. read more
