I received bedbugs on my furniture upon removing items from storage. It was obvious right away as I inspected everything expecting to possibly find spiders or mold on pieces at the very most. Low and behold, all my furniture had to be disposed of after a very laborious and costly bedbug treatment. read more

Easy move in! I didn't even have to talk to anyone and it was smooth sailing with my app on my phone. The price was also great for the space. I had gotten a 5x10 and was scared it'd be too small, but it was plenty big and way longer than I expected a 5x10 to be. The vaulted ceilings are great to be able to stack storage bins and such. I just rented a storage unit so my son could get outta his not sure if I will have it a full month yet gotta see noticed my light bulb is broken inside the storage unit but also noticed rat pellet pack and a rat hole in the steel side wall towards the door hmm we'll see how things go. Buyer beware, Inside storage regularly smells like it has been smoked in and employees will not do anything. I have had a unit for 4 years and they have raised the rate by 20% per year to the point that my monthly rent is more than the advertised rate. They keep saying they will "escalate". Very poor service. Also, the gate was broken for like 6 months so it wasn't even secure. read more

This is the poorest run storage facility around. The on site manager Vanessa is extremely rude and unhelpful. Thinks she owns the place! Absolutely no grace period after rent due date. That is unheard of. In Nashville I rented from public storage for 4 years and never an issue. Up visiting Akron and needed storage so I thought it would be a perfect place. The facility is a mess, trash everywhere on the property. I ask to speak to the District manager and the store manager Vanessa gave me a fax number... and would hang up on my return call. HORRIBLE--Climate units "trickle" a/c in the summer, almost 90*F HORRIBLE--Winter temps in climate units at 30*F (very very cold ) HORRIBLE--Issues with gates, lights, entry keypads HORRIBLE--SNOW is NOT addressed at this facility....so BEWARE of solid ice patches and not getting vehicle up hills AT ALL ! Great facility. Site managers are great to work with, especially Sam. Feels very secure. Two cons. The hours could be a little later. They close at 9pm. 11 would have helped me on a few occasions. Also, in the winter, whomever plows pushed snow against my door and I had to dig the door out. Ice damned in the concrete channel the door recesses into, so I had to dig that out as well. read more

The owner lies to her customers. Told us she was going to put asphalt down but turned around and low grade pebbles in. She was supposed to keep everyone who was there before she bought it at their rates. she jacked ours up from $50 to over $100 for a 10x10. This place is the worst Storage Place in Canton Ohio! Plus they got into our unit without permission. We always paid on time! They claim they reason the rates went up was because of the "Improvements" (which are crap). read more

On our move-in day, there was nobody in the office during open office hours (as stated in emails and on the website); first red flag. The way this company-provided lock was forced upon us doesn't please us very much either... Neither does the fact my husband's conclusion of the lock (after inspecting it) is the unit could easily get broke into; second red flag. I switched unit sizes in ONE HOUR, and ended up not being able to get the deal, b/c I wasn't considered a new customer after registering. District manager NEVER returns calls. Storage units are broken into once a year. Staff told me over the phone "there is no lock on your unit". When I showed up, 15 people had their units broken into and some lost thousands of dollars of possessions, and another man there told me the same thing happened the year before. District manager will not answer calls or respond to voicemail. Staff may try to lie about the broken locks (if they even bothered to fix them) and say that the DM had to break them open. This is a lie, STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR STUFF STOLEN! read more

This place is awful. The site manager Nicky is extremely rude and unhelpful. I've never dealt with a more unpleasant person when I was their customer. I'm transgender and everyone at the location has repeatedly used the wrong name and gender. I have rented from several other storage locations in multiple states and have never experienced such ghastly treatment. They tout the manager living on site as a plus, but then refuse to help you after hours. I was told they would leave the lock off my unit for one day while I moved in the next day (Sunday). There was of course a lock on the next day and the manager refused to help me and berated me for even asking. This cost me hundreds of dollars as I had to wait to move my stuff out of my old apartment. Rude, incompetent, untrustworthy, and utterly useless. Avoid at all costs. read more

I went in the office to ask about the units available. Emily and Rickly were in the office and they were very knowledgeable about what would be the best option for me. I would give 4.5 stars just because I wanted to buy some boxes and other things to help me move but they were a little too expensive. Other than that it seemed like a good deal and the associates were very friendly and helpful. read more
