I thought the process to obtain a storage unit was seamless! Completed everything online and lock was waiting in the unit for me!! I've been using them all over the country for years. I highly recommend Public Storage! read more

I bought a 10 x 10, and was given a 10 x 8 space. No compensation was offered or made. I was told the website is only for 'estimates '

I received bedbugs on my furniture upon removing items from storage. It was obvious right away as I inspected everything expecting to possibly find spiders or mold on pieces at the very most. Low and behold, all my furniture had to be disposed of after a very laborious and costly bedbug treatment. read more

Easy move in! I didn't even have to talk to anyone and it was smooth sailing with my app on my phone. The price was also great for the space. I had gotten a 5x10 and was scared it'd be too small, but it was plenty big and way longer than I expected a 5x10 to be. The vaulted ceilings are great to be able to stack storage bins and such. I love being able to drive right up and unload and load as I need to. read more

Perfect for what I needed, clean and easy to access. Friendly, helpful staff.

I just rented a storage unit so my son could get outta his not sure if I will have it a full month yet gotta see noticed my light bulb is broken inside the storage unit but also noticed rat pellet pack and a rat hole in the steel side wall towards the door hmm we'll see how things go. They say you can rent a storage unit for $1 for the first month all I got was a medium discount and still payed $82 for first month! read more

The automatic gate that you are supposed to leave by doesn't work. No sing or anything letting you know. There was no attendant there during the hours stated. read more

The lady was very helpful and patient with my questions and with helping me make the right decision on size. She also checked on me to make sure everything worked out and getting into my storage unit. What a great thing to have someone in a business actually cares if everything is OK and she did she did that and more thank you for hiring such a excellent customer service person read more

Took over the place where we had storage units for a couple of years. No notice. Accounts completely messed up. Cannot get it together. We'll move out when the weather breaks. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT. read more

This is the second time I have rented a unit from them. They made everything super easy and when I had an issue come up, they were wonderful about helping me out. read more

Buyer beware, Inside storage regularly smells like it has been smoked in and employees will not do anything. I have had a unit for 4 years and they have raised the rate by 20% per year to the point that my monthly rent is more than the advertised rate. They keep saying they will "escalate". Very poor service. Also, the gate was broken for like 6 months so it wasn't even secure. read more

This is the poorest run storage facility around. The on site manager Vanessa is extremely rude and unhelpful. Thinks she owns the place! Absolutely no grace period after rent due date. That is unheard of. In Nashville I rented from public storage for 4 years and never an issue. Up visiting Akron and needed storage so I thought it would be a perfect place. The facility is a mess, trash everywhere on the property. I ask to speak to the District manager and the store manager Vanessa gave me a fax number... and would hang up on my return call. So frustrating. Please find another place before you run into the same situation. Vanessa's assistant Felicia is the only good asset this place has. She is so helpful! read more

Great facility. Site managers are great to work with, especially Sam. Feels very secure. Two cons. The hours could be a little later. They close at 9pm. 11 would have helped me on a few occasions. Also, in the winter, whomever plows pushed snow against my door and I had to dig the door out. Ice damned in the concrete channel the door recesses into, so I had to dig that out as well. read more

HORRIBLE--In 2017 almost half of the lights were broken for 8 months. HORRIBLE--Climate units "trickle" a/c in the summer, almost 90*F HORRIBLE--Winter temps in climate units at 30*F (very very cold ) HORRIBLE--Issues with gates, lights, entry keypads HORRIBLE--SNOW is NOT addressed at this facility....so BEWARE of solid ice patches and not getting vehicle up hills AT ALL ! HORRIBLE--UPPER LEVEL management at the corporate level do nothing to address the constant issues.... read more

Public Storage - Temp in the "climate" control. Actually was 31*F in the entire building.....and that's on the ceiling! So just imagine at floor. HORRIBLE ! - Self Storage Near Me - Akron, Ohio

Very clean. Very nice. And very polite. I'm so glad I came here. Erika was so kind and helpful. She helped me save money instead of buying a bigger unit that I didn't need . if I ever have to move again, I'll be sure to call up and speak with her! I highly recommend Public Storage ! read more

Property 26633 Nikki the property manager was very helpful; always made sure that she would be available for my scheduled day of rental. Sizable property and looks like great security. Daily lock checks each morning! read more

If I could give this place less than one star I would. The units are broken in to regularly. I lost over $10,000 worth of belongings. The staff are unresponsive and unhelpful. The district manager does not return phone calls. Stay away. read more

Felicia is very helpful no issues with the location at all..shes very knowledgable..dont be swayed by prior people see Felicia

The owner lies to her customers. Told us she was going to put asphalt down but turned around and low grade pebbles in. She was supposed to keep everyone who was there before she bought it at their rates. she jacked ours up from $50 to over $100 for a 10x10. This place is the worst Storage Place in Canton Ohio! Plus they got into our unit without permission. We always paid on time! They claim they reason the rates went up was because of the "Improvements" (which are crap). read more

On our move-in day, there was nobody in the office during open office hours (as stated in emails and on the website); first red flag. The way this company-provided lock was forced upon us doesn't please us very much either... Neither does the fact my husband's conclusion of the lock (after inspecting it) is the unit could easily get broke into; second red flag. We hope this doesn't end up a terrible experience and painful memory. Now we're starting to see the good side of a month-to-month agreement... read more

Please, pick someplace different. I have had nothing but issues here. Both the women who work this location are rude. I chose this place b/c there was a deal going on. I switched unit sizes in ONE HOUR, and ended up not being able to get the deal, b/c I wasn't considered a new customer after registering. District manager NEVER returns calls. Looking to move my stuff this month to anther facility, this one isn't worth the money! read more

Very friendly and helpful. Clean and well taken care of. I use them all over great storage company.

It was my first time renting a storage unit and Erika made it painless. She made sure I got the unit size that was perfect and the whole process went smoothly. Highly recommended. read more

The process was extremely easy. Nikki made the experience very smooth and can answer any questions you may have. The storage unit was very clean and as expected. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the area. read more

Storage units are broken into once a year. Staff told me over the phone "there is no lock on your unit". When I showed up, 15 people had their units broken into and some lost thousands of dollars of possessions, and another man there told me the same thing happened the year before. District manager will not answer calls or respond to voicemail. Staff may try to lie about the broken locks (if they even bothered to fix them) and say that the DM had to break them open. This is a lie, STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR STUFF STOLEN! read more

Emily was amazing in informing us of all of our options and ensuring we thoroughly understood the financials, insurance, and property security. Great experience, highly recommended! read more

This place is awful. The site manager Nicky is extremely rude and unhelpful. I've never dealt with a more unpleasant person when I was their customer. I'm transgender and everyone at the location has repeatedly used the wrong name and gender. I have rented from several other storage locations in multiple states and have never experienced such ghastly treatment. They tout the manager living on site as a plus, but then refuse to help you after hours. I was told they would leave the lock off my unit for one day while I moved in the next day (Sunday). There was of course a lock on the next day and the manager refused to help me and berated me for even asking. This cost me hundreds of dollars as I had to wait to move my stuff out of my old apartment. Rude, incompetent, untrustworthy, and utterly useless. Avoid at all costs. read more

The space and the whole complex was very clean. Is truly a one stop shop. Erica ws very knowledgeable about the spaces and the contracts. She made everything a breeze. I have used other storage places, without a don't this is exceptional. read more

Thank you for a great experience Emily and Ricky . Your knowledge about storing our personal items was valuable . I especially appreciated the attention to detail with regard to cleanliness of our unit and the property . Security was important and helping us choose the right lock rather than use the one we had gave us real piece of mind . I never would have thought a large corporate company could have made us feel at home as you did . We will recommend Public Storage to our Family and Friends . Keep up the good work people !!! read more

I went in the office to ask about the units available. Emily and Rickly were in the office and they were very knowledgeable about what would be the best option for me. I would give 4.5 stars just because I wanted to buy some boxes and other things to help me move but they were a little too expensive. Other than that it seemed like a good deal and the associates were very friendly and helpful. read more

Erika helped me out and was truly awesome. She was very personable and helpful. I am pleased with my choice to use public storage.

Emily was awesome, she even did better than the national deal. I strongly recommend Public Storage.
