Gave me a quote for a moving job and I ended up paying 11/2 times the quote. 2 pieces of furniture were damaged unsatisfactory customer service and very unprofessional and rude. Took items to the wrong location. When they payed for the damage it didn't cover the real cost of what they did. broken furniture. angry men moving furniture because they had a feud on the way to my new home. was afraid they would bust walls in my new home the coworker was so angry. can't blame him the lead did no work. intimidating forced me to leave positive review as I was alone in the home. drank my wine and asked my teen son to help put together a bunk bed while he stood and drank wine with me. talked for over an hour while my son and worker did the work. My move date got changed because of an offer falling through. They were able to not only schedule me when needed but they packed my whole house. It was NOT cheap but so worth it. The only advice I'd give them is labeling boxes a little better. I had soooo many boxes just labeled kitchen. Would have been easier if a few big important things like coffee pot were labeled. But the movers we had were fantastic. Really hard workers and super nice guys. Made a tough process much much easier. Definitely would recommend them. read more

Just had my furniture moved from their Cuyahoga Falls storage facility, everyone (movers, manager & owner) knew that an item of mine had been damaged, yet never said a word to me! Once the movers were ready to depart I asked where the item was and that I was missing a blue storage container. Long story short I stayed up all night only to discover even more items missing. Don't use these folks, honesty is NOT their strong suit, is it Ken? To say I'm heartbroken and incredulous about the lies and deceit is an understatement! I really couldn't find anyone for my last minute move but them last August 2018.my house didn't sell for 3 months then suddenly I accepted an offer but had less than 30 to move out. I ended up with move it now. They seemed nice enough, responded reasonably quickly enough. I was very nice to this crew of 3 nice guys that were based at their Medina shop. The 3 were related and did a quick job of helping me pack. Greg, the leader and job manager seemed well versed at his job and at directing the other 2 guys. I ended up giving a lot of nice things to them personally as that is what Christian folks do. I was also donating $100s worth of clothing, furniture and other household items to Vietnam vets, and salvation army. My neighbors also got some good stuff from me. I had to downsize from almost 3000 sq ft to 1320 sq ft now, so why not. I have at least one witness as to items I did donate to these movers themselves, and a couple of items I sold to them for less than a song!! My new place was so packed when it was done one Sat nite Aug 25th, there was little room to move. My good friend Greg B. helped me muddle through moving boxes etc as I unpacked slowly over the next 2 months! I am in great shape for being a 64 yr old woman. But do suffer from severe osteoarthritis for 19 yrs and lots of surgeries.Two of the guys from MoveItNow offered to come back the next Friday-Sunday, to help me unpack for money as a paid job I offered. I got the night.ber from one, and called after my friend Greg B. came over Sunday, but I only got his voicemail, I left several msgs and never heard from him or any of them again. Greg B. and I thought that was strange as they repeatedly reminded me to call them for the help. Oh well, guess they got lazy and too embarrassed to admit it. Within three weeks I came to realize why they never showed. For the first time in my life, and I have moved 4X while a single person/mom, and 5X while married, to different states etc., over 42 yrs. and have never been ripped off-until now. I actually created a list of all 8 items stolen from me. One that meant the most to me was my St. John's cross.My Jawbone speaker that I bought in 2013 was also stolen, and although it was by now5 yrs old, I paid $100 for it! The funny thing was I personally believe the packing leader , their "Greg" (not my friend Greg B), did all the kitchen packing and all the stuff missing almost all came from that area! Gee, so nice to know that when ya try to help, that seems to indicate to some that means they can just help themselves!! I further believe the other 2 guys really did want to come over to help, but were discouraged from doing so by their leader and family relative (for one of them) Greg. I think I he assumed an older fit person like myself would unpack all those 50-60 boxes very quickly and they shouldn't be around when I discovered my missing stuff!! It's alright. I don't seek revenge because from what I've always seen with my transgressors is that truly "Revenge is mine sayegh the Lord". Has always proved true in my life and He does a much more thorough job of rumination than I ever could!! Oh, btw, I also discovered so may banged up spots on the backs of my furniture where the cheaper part of the wood is typically placed-really did a crap job there too!! My advice: stay clear of these jokers. read more

I typically use 2 men and a truck regularly but they didnt have the day i was looking for. So i contacted Move it now. When they arrive was okay. They loading most of all my furniture then at the end of the truck being loaded they told me that they could not complete the move because i had bed bugs. Really at the end. Then they unloaded all my furniture back off truck and my treated me very rudely and unprofessionally. They ended up loading my whole living room with all my furniture. If that was the case they should have inspected my furniture before hand. My furniture didn't have bed bugs and I explain that to them. I ended up contact another moving company that did a beautiful job moving my family to our new location. read more

Found out about this company when one of their trucks was in my neighborhood. I liked what I saw on their website, so I decided to hire them to move from an apartment into two separate houses. Movers were friendly, quick, and very strong! Everything was taken care of in 4 hours, despite elevator problems in the apartment building. I closed on my old house and new house on the same day, which left me only 48 hours to move my 3-bedroom home into the new 4-bedroom home. I also had a full 10x10 storage space I wanted moved at the same time. Move It Now was able to handle this large job professionally, quickly, and on-budget, which left me an entire day to give the old house a good scrub before handing the keys over to the new owner. That would have earned them a four-star review from me. However, they managed to do the whole move without breaking or losing any of my property. They didn't even scratch the furniture or bump the walls of either house. Furthermore, they were just nice people. Five stars. I wouldn't hesitate to work with these folks again. read more

I used the company to move me. They broke my desk, a light and dresser mirror, scratched doors, and struggled figuring out how to get items out of rooms. They had three guys working, and took them forever to load. I ended up helping unload just to get the job done more quickly. I would advise not letting children around the movers as they bickered and cursed because the job seemed like an inconvenience to some of the workers. It took the guys 20 minutes to back the truck up a driveway and they bickered over who was going to drive it out of the driveway because it seemed like an impossible task to one of them. Within minutes of them leaving a UPS truck backed in to drop off a delivery, and I was amazed because the movers made such a big deal out of backing in the driveway. I really advise anyone to go with a more reputable company and spend the extra money to get professionals. read more

They were the only company able to accommodate the date I wanted, which was about a weeks notice, and they were also the cheapest. All 3 of them were nice and polite. Nothing was damaged during the move, they put things up and down stairs where we asked, and they were done in less time than we were quoted. Definitely recommend them. read more

I called for someone to come out for a moving estimate, and I got a confirmation call for the day before. I told Skylar that he could come out that day, which was a Tuesday, but that my confirmed day was for Wednesday. He apologized and said, sorry he made a mistake and would come out Wednesday like originally set up. I said, ok, I'll see you then. When no one showed up at the expected time, I called the office and the woman apologized saying I was not even on the schedule. She then said she would talk to Skylar and get back to me, which of course never happened. Ultimately, I found another moving company...a more professional one!! Your company was a referral from my realtor, and I'll be sure to tell him not to recommend Move It Now anymore. FYI, I never write bad reviews, but this really p...ed me off. They moved my elderly parents from Hudson to Perrysburg (outside of Toledo) and somehow damaged almost every single piece of furniture they owned. Some of the damage was beyond repair. I sent a stereo my parent's purchased in 1957 with the manager because he assured me it could be repaired by a company they used in Akron. 4 months later it was returned (after many phone calls) and the beautifully lacquered piece of furniture that left here was now partially lacquered and partially polyurethaned. It looks awful. It might have been better to leave it the way it was. This particular piece of furniture has been moved 10 times (twice across country) without a single scratch on it. But Move it Now managed to destroy every single surface on it and then couldn't repair it correctly. I am weary of fighting with them and I strongly recommend passing on Move It Now as they are slow to respond, unprofessional and terrible movers from beginning to end. My parents are sad that their prized possessions were treated so poorly. They have decided that what's done is done but every time I go to see them (twice a month) I have to look at the dresser my 87 year old Dad has had since he was 16 and see the stain runs down the front of it from Move It Now's repairs. I get physically sick to my stomach because I recommended this company to my elderly parents for their move. So sad. If you value your property Move with another company. read more
