Patient states that she had hired a moving service to help move a lot of heavy items to her home. She states that she originally agreed to pay a certain price but yesterday when they arrived they wanted her to pay more money for them to move heavier things such as barrels and bags. She states that she refused to pay them so they left her stuff in the street. She states that she had no other way to move the items so she forced herself to move all of her things. She states that she used the right side of her body to help move and push the items. She states that now since then she has had pain to the right shoulder, side hip, leg and lower back. This increases with movement. Pain can radiate up the back and down the righ leg. I hesitated a bit, thinking that maybe they would not have enough movers, so he then said he would be sure to have 4 men, but requested $400. That was still very reasonable, much less than other movers I called. He arrived a week later with the truck, 3 other men, many straps to keep the piano stable in the truck. What amazed me was that he then proceeded to wrap my 60-year old piano in plastic, further protecting it from damage. The men were super polite, and they made the transport within an hour, moving into my friend's home flawlessly. I highly recommend this outstanding team! Just one more item: I did prepare a written contract with the agreed-upon quote and delivery address. Kelvin gladly signed it, keeping his copy and returning mine. This gave me peace of mind that I might not have had otherwise when hiring someone I did not know. When I phoned about the damage several times I was told that the Company would take care of it. It has been 2 months now, and I haven't heard from them. I am going to go ahead and pay to get the repairs done. The movers left a furniture pad in my back yard. I phoned several times to ask them to come remove it, but they never did. On the last call I was told to put it in the trash. It was soaking wet and weighed a lot, probably 50 pounds. I am elderly. I finally managed to get it into the trash bin. I am lucky I didn't injure my back again, but I should have used a different moving company.

Movers are 95% felons, the company makes the workers sacrifice their body, take all the profits then put it on YOU as the customer to tip / pay them properly. expect to fork over an extra 100$ bucks as a standard on top of what they quote you or you will get massive attitude and stink eye from the movers. there is no actual "schedule" (unless you're the first house of the day) and they just take any job they can and overload everything instead of actually having a nice fresh crew show up on time. You will get burnt out guys 1-2 hours late ready to fall over on their 3rd move of the DAY. This is the SHOPS problem, transferred again to the customer I would never hire 2 men and a truck after what I've seen at this location. Just know when you hire 2 men and a truck, you are getting the bottom of the barrel.

No one was reading the "fragile" signs written on the boxes. And when they arrived at my new location not all the boxes ended up where they should have been placed.
