I want to Thank the Blue Men Moving Team for such a fabulous experience with stressful moves! We have used them personally 5 times and with family more than a dozen times. From a challenging move from downtown Chicago or our most recent experience of Medina to Medina these guys are the best! They cover floors to protect it, they wrapped furniture to protect glass, protect doors from opening on antique cupboards, they even wrapped wicker pieces to protect against breakage. If you watch them, they are totally in tuned with each other when standing furniture not to hit chandeliers or sides of walls.....going around bends they slowly maneuver pieces to make sure NOTHING gets damaged or broke. I was so thrilled to see our pieces in their new home and yet they always asked....."Is this where you want it, is it centered ok for you?" They took care of our things as if it were their own! Thank you for your care, patience and strength! And last thing as they were leaving....they asked if there was anything else we needed moved, positions changed and if we were happy with where everything was put. These guys are beyond amazing and appreciated beyond words!! Thank you all for all the moves! This was our first time hiring movers. We were moving from a 3rd floor apartment and wanted to leave moving everything down two flights of stairs to the pros. That is exactly what the movers from Blue Men were. They bill you hourly and the movers knew that. I don't think I saw them stop once or make a trip down empty handed once. They were careful with everything and if someone was marked fragile they would ask about it and then set it aside to make certain it was not damaged. No one can enjoy moving boxes and furniture down three floors, but the three guys we had did the whole process with a smile. They were polite, professional and respectful the whole time. They could have been three friends we asked to help us move because they were s enjoyable to work with. I would recommend them to any one that is moving. I had never heard of them prior to this move and our realtor recommended them. I had originally emailed and left messages for two bigger moving companies in the area and got no response from them. The same day I sent in my quote request with Blue Men I had a call later that day to go over all the details. Three days before the move we realized that we should probably have three movers instead of two. I emailed them and got a response right away about our request and that they would send the extra man. This moving company is INCREDIBLE from the moment I made first contact to the time they drove off. I was in a unique situation where time was the essence and I had unusual requests. I told them I was in no mood to shop for the lowest price so be fair and give me the best initial quote. They were straightforward and upfront with me as I was with them. The estimator was polite, empathetic, and understanding. 5 days prior to the scheduled move date I had to re-schedule to the following week. They were understanding and acted like it was not a big deal to them. On the day of the move, we had inclement weather, however, the movers arrived 15 minutes early. The movers were friendly, clean, and tidy. They too were empathetic to the situation, delicate with my furnishings, and very flexible. The crew was FAST, smart, and organized. Knowing that they get paid by the hour, chit-chat was very minimal to almost non-existent. If anything I was the culprit slowing them down. At the end of the day, the move went way quicker than what I was planning and expecting. The final bill was too. I can't stop ranting on how professional the entire organization was. From the top-down, everyone in the company was gracious to me in selecting their service. Lately, it seems to be a challenge to find and pay for good-quality help. As a realtor, I make sure that if I am going to recommend a service to a client, I have either used it myself or I have multiple other clients or people I know ( who's opinions I value), who have used the service and are very satisfied. This past weekend my family moved after selling our home. A VERY particular client of mine recently used and highly recommended Blue Men Moving so I decided to give them a chance. Oddly enough we were buying the home of the people who bought our home, so it was a house swap (we know each other) and they also used Blue Men Moving. I am very happy to say we couldn't have been happier with their service, professionalism, quick yet careful moving of our furniture and belongings. This was NOT an easy move on their part I'm sure but they never complained, never stopped, were very polite and FAR exceeded our expectations! I've rarely seen people work so hard for a days wage. We recently hired Blue Men Moving to help us move our heavier items - furniture to be specific. This was the first time we had hired professional movers, and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. Nick and Dawson were professional, polite, efficient, careful, and thorough. Five stars for both of them. Setting up our move was also easy; the office staff members were courteous, efficient, and thorough. They sent reminders about the upcoming move via text and email (as if we were likely to forget ). I had gotten estimates from three moving companies - trying to choose those that were local to us. Blue Men were by far the cheapest, by so much that I worried a little about whether the service would be any good, but we were very happy. Nick and Dawson packed our furniture carefully and seemed to carry it with an unexpected ease. I have moved a few times and each subsequent move have used a different moving company because the experience with the previous mover was not good enough. After working with Blue Men Moving, I will always look at them for any future moving needs I have. They actually just completed two moves for my family. We had an amazing experience with Blue Men Moving! I had to coordinate a move for my 100-year-old grandmother from Cincinnati to Columbus while living in Virginia. She has many sentimental and delicate items, so finding the right movers was a top priority. This was our 2nd time using the services of Blue Men Moving - and once again - the experience was simply amazing - I might even go so far as to say it was downright enjoyable! I would be remiss if I didn't call out Andrew the "gazelle" of the crew (and a leader) - I have never seen a mover "move" so fast and jump so high (from the ground right up into the truck - over and over again) Andrew is incredible and with energy that just doesn't end - and super human strength too. And what about Jake? (another leader) The man has the strength of a bull and super skills - His direction of the crew - along with Andrew - really shined through! These guys are the BEST! Blue Men Movers have great customer service. I was pleased with the communication. they worked with us to get to a price we thought was fair, and they did a very good job answering all our questions. the men that showed up were uniformed, professional and took care in the packing and moving. this was a state to state move, and a big one. they also had to go to another address for us to pick up and move a piano. no problems there, thank goodness. on the way to our new home, they had to stop at a storage facility and unload a lot of boxes. that also was something great they did. they listened, worked with us, and everything went pretty much according to plan. the only negative I could say at all is that they had to adhere to a strict timetable. when it was time to go, they had to get moving and fast. The only problems I had were that they had NO TOOLS, so when a door needed to be removed to get the washer and dryer in the basement, I had to call someone to get what they needed, which added on more time. Their arrive time was between 12 and 2. When I hadn't heard anything by 1:50, I was just starting to pick up my phone to call when they called to say they were on the way and 10 miles from me. The problem was, when everything was finished, they said they were on my dime starting at 1:30 when they finished the previous client. Had they called me at 1:30, I would've been okay with it, but they also said someone didn't show up for work, so the second worker drove from the Cleveland location to Akron to help with my move. Was that the cause of the late start? Why was I charged for time they weren't there? They also had no change (I was paying cash), so I was forced to give a tip I didn't feel they deserved. read more

This Moving company is the best of them ALL. My relocation was last minute and I was left in tears at Christmas with a 12/17 move date. It was 12/15 and I was stood up by Budget Movers whom took $600 at Christmas and was a no show. I called in a panic and in tears. They sent the contract in 30 mins, hired two of the most kindest and professional men for the job. They showed up. Comforted and move me in record time. I was very impressed with the entire experience from my initial phone call, planning the pick up, the communication the day of and that my high expectations were met by properly and carefullly transporting a late 1800's Tiger Oak China cabinet with curved glass doors and sides. It matches my grandmother's dining room set as Mission Quarter Sawn White Oak design. They delivered it to Kim who is the refinisher that will match the stain to my grandmother, Mimi's, set. I've been waiting 50 years to find the right piece to be added to her collection... So happy it got there safely ! I found out about Blue Men Moving through a referral on Nextdoor Akron, OH. When we found ourselves moving for the second time in just six months, there was zero hesitation about who to call--Blue Men Moving, without question. After our first move, I wrote a review saying it felt like hanging out with a bunch of buddies. Well, these guys did not disappoint the second time around! They showed up with the same friendly faces, good energy, and plenty of laughter, and then proceeded to bust their butts from start to finish. We had some appliances that needed to be moved, and Blue Men Moving was the company chosen to do the work. The emoji of a laughing face with tears reflects the move exactly. Everything didn't go quite as planned, but the movers, Quan and Antoine, grabbed hold of the moment and made it the best it could be. So, we had lots of laughter as we all worked together to make everything just fine, for the good of all. Antoine and Quan were totally professional, arrived early (lol), and handled the items with care and respect. The team at Blue Men Moving were exactly what we needed during our difficult move. Our timeframe to get all the items out of our old house (along with a 10x10 storage unit) and into the new house was exactly one day. They came with two trucks and four movers. They had the trucks loaded and on their way by noon and were done setting up the new house shortly after. The movers were professional and accepted our input on where things go without question. I was skeptical of the price at first, I had quoted three companies total, and Blue Men Moving was the lowest by far. Wow! I wish I could give more stars. Blue Men Moving was amazing. First, they were able to schedule us on short notice. Our original moving company cancelled our move two days before our scheduled date of our move. The move was complicated as it required moving items from two different homes from two different towns. The move was also a long distance one. The company couldn't have been more accommodating. The movers were very concerned about our items and used great care in moving all of it (including a piano). They were helpful, friendly and so nice. AND QUICK! The moving costs were very reasonable compared to the national moving companies. I can't thank them enough for the move. The movers arrived right on time. 3 guys and one truck did the job. All three movers were professional and handled all our furniture with care. They asked where we wanted the furniture when they arrived at our new location, and they so nice when I had them move some items to other rooms after I realized I wanted them somewhere else. When the job was done it came in under the estimated cost which was a plus! I went with Blue Men Moving after a friend recommended them and I extremely pleased with the job they did.
