I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. As I have always said, selecting a reputable company and high-quality equipment is important, but having it installed properly by a team of highly knowledgeable experts is the most important aspect of the job. Overall, they took just over an hour for all the repairs and then explained everything they completed by taking me on a "tour" of the repairs until I was satisfied. He was amazing! Blue worked late into the night on a Friday to ensure we had hot water, then came back on Saturday, worked late to finish the job, and didn't grumble when we asked for adjustments. He cleaned up each day, wore booties in the house, and laid drop cloths from the front door to the utility closet to keep our home clean. He's hilarious, has great stories, and is incredibly professional and polite. Blue's partner, Brian, is also a funny, sensible guy who has done everything from replacing the cut-off valve on one property to replacing an entire system in a gut renovation at another property. The two of them are honest to a fault, very personable, reasonably priced, and I'm really happy I found them.

He told me that he would send me a check I asked if he had the address he said yes. I really thought I could give him a positive follow-up for making things right and here we are a month later and I have received the check. He also refunded the charge for what they did fix as part of a good faith gesture which I appreciate very much. The reasons for changing the review to 4 stars are clearly about the integrity of Aaron the owner of Anchor Plumbing. First, not to go into personal details, he shared the reasons he was not available to his team during the repair visit. If he had been available I am positive we would have achieved a much better result. Emergencies are just that. It doesn't excuse the issue. What it does is more important. A small business owner who even looks at the Yelp reviews I have been publishing these many years is reassuring. Especially when we are looking for tradesmen who come into our homes. Sadly, the owner of Nick's passed away and this company is now owned by Dunrite. I called that company based on the reviews of Nick's Air Services, but their services has definitely NOT been the same as mentioned on this profile. In summary, this company is expensive, can make improper recommendations, and the office is very difficult to get anyone to call you back. I absolutely would not use them again in the future and - had I read their Yelp profile for Dunrite Heating & Cooling - would never have called them in the first place. My experience: My air conditioning due to leaked refrigerant due to another HVAC technician not correct. Nick's/Dunrite came out during the same day and quickly identified the problem. There was a leak on the schrader valve. They got us back to running - for nearly $200/per pound of refrigerant. 5 lbs = about $1,000. Wow, but we had no choice as my original installer was not available. Our unit has not been keeping up with the 90s for the past two months and the technician recommended 3 different options. I chose 2 of the 3 options: a larger return air duct AND repairing the plenum. I was anxious to get the work scheduled and it took me hounding them to get them to schedule the work. Communicating with this office was very painful. I would never get calls back and would just get a text message indicating when they had scheduled the appointment. Their front desk support was exceedingly helpful but not empowered to do anything besides schedule appointments and pass along info. I finally had the appointment and the technician went to the wrong address. I got a call from them saying they had been at my house and then they proceeded to the next job. I spoke to them and learned they were at the wrong house, but could not turn around to go back to my house. I had to wait until the following week to get the appointment rescheduled. What a disaster. It got worse. The work was finally done - the return air duct and the plenum. I waited a couple of days, but there was NO change in the air conditioning. I called them back again and they scheduled another technician to come out. The second technician came out, a more senior technician, who confirmed that the unit was undersized and "working as it was designed" to cool at 75-76. I don't know a single person who is comfortable with 75-76 in the house when the outside is in the 90s. I called customer service again. When I finally got someone, I got a call from William, who is their most senior technician (an older guys in his late-50s probably). He came out with the original technical and instructed him how to properly do a heat load calculation. They determined indeed the unit is undersized and I needed a 3 ton. I called back the customer service asking for a refund to the work. I've called at least 3-4 times, each time speaking with a very nice person. However, I've still not been called back. What a disaster. I've finally had to resort to filing a complaint with my credit card and disputing it through them. It's unfortunate and I didn't want to have to do this, but - when no one will call you back - it's very very hard to trust this company to make things right.

Occasionally, my receipt does not print at the pump but that I am able to get one inside without much of a wait. Inside, they have the typical gas station/convenience store items available. They do a bit better when it comes to items like sandwiches, pastries, etc. as I am sure they source most of it from the Tom Thumb grocery store directly across the street. Another nice thing is unlike many other places nearby, there are never any 'undesirables' hanging around the entrance (or the gas pumps) which is a big plus. Access to this station is fairly easy as it's rare for traffic to backup in the area. Lastly, while I have never used it, they do have an air compressor available to take care of any low-tire-pressure needs.

Troy promptly responded to our leak. Very complicated problem but because of his experience and expertise, he was able to find and eradicate...plus suggest ways to prevent problems in future (who typically knows that adding salt every so often into your plumbing will help retard root growth into the pipes? I didn't...but I am a pinhead on plumbing stuff...but I digress). Anyway, he had to get into crawl space under the house into some pretty nasty stuff to figure out what the source of the problem was, but he was as interested and committed to finding source and fixing it as we were. And he found it and fixed it. Very impressive. If you have a plumbing problem, ask for Troy - he knows stuff. Not necessarily saying they do bad work but they are trying to upsell you when it is not necessary. Just wish they had a little more integrity. So if they tell you it needs replaced I would get a second opinion.

They ran tests and isolated the leak to be a valve inside toilet. Turned that valve off and meter stopped running. Incredible! I'm calling these guys for all my plumbing needs and you should too! Ethan and Dustin were the gentlemen that detected the leak, within 5 minutes might I add!

They arrived on time and at each part of review of the issue and repairs, they kept me updated. They showed me the valve in the wall that was jammed preventing hot water flow, removed the valve without damaging the shower and replaced it. They will cancel you or no show if they have another job that will give them more money. They wasted my time and cost me money by taking time off work. I was hoping to use them because they are a local family owned business but they don't act like it. I had better luck with rescue rooter.

After finishing the job the plumber was nice enough to inform us of how to keep this problem from happening in the future. I found that quite helpful and well worth the cost of having them come out to help us, I highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing issues.
