On my recent trip to Philly we stopped in for P&K for a post event meal and drink. It's everything that you want in a pub - a solid menu, good drinks, and dark lighting. We were seated right away and I was a passenger princess when it came to ordering. We got wings, the Italian Hoagie Dip, and a wedge salad. As a girl who loves an Italian sub, this dip was perfection. It's everything you'd want in a Italian sub, but in dip form. Paired with my dirty martini this was what was needed after working an 300+ person event. The wings were also super solid. We were there on a weeknight and the bar was full. Overall, solid spot for drinks, snacks, and yapping.

Went for happy hour and enjoyed their drink deals and that they do 15 dollar single burger +beer! The burger was good but didn't knock my socks off, the wings and blue cheese were great! The fries with the cheese could've been better and i honestly liked their basic fries better! Our waiter was really great and helpful and got us our drinks really fast!

Biting back at the P&K slander on this APP! I have found myself at the Pub and Kitchen bar a number of times for a variety of occasions. Group hang after a comedy show, date night drinks, quick snack and cocktail, etc. It is an amazing catch-all and I tend to gravitate there more in the winter months thanks to the cozy decor and myriad elfs on myriad shelfs. The bartenders here are as fabulous as the drinks. It's a neighborhood spot so expect friendly service but things are kept laid back and unpretentious. I recently ordered a French 75 with their hoagie dip and HIGHLY recommend this course of action. The hoagie dip comes with buttery croissant bread and is one of my new favorite starters in the city. While I've never sat down for dinner, I have confidence in the menu and would be willing to experiment a bit. I've heard great things about the burger and feel super grateful to have this gem near my home. Go!

While looking for some post-event fuel, the crew landed on this neighborhood bar for some snacks and sips. I knew from the moment I read Italian Hoagie Dip on their menu, I was in for a good meal. After being seated right away, our server kindly greeted us and got us started with drinks from their signature cocktail selection while we decided on what plates to share (in addition to the hoagie dip, of course). We also went with their buffalo wings and wedge salad. We loved every bite, but that dip is truly one of a kind. Besides tasting exactly like an Italian hoagie from your local deli, it was served with a croissant-brioche loaf that completely elevated the dish. Chill vibes, great food, and solid drinks. What more can you ask for? I'll be back ASAP!

Came here for drinks and apps. Cool environment with ample people watching windows. Menu was a little $$ and bartenders were attentive but not overly friendly. Hoagie dip was pretty good!

The food was good and the waiter was helpful when it came to informing us of items for specific allergies. The wine was good. The outdoor seating is not too loud. The wings were crispy and tasty. The burger is one of my partners favorite burgers in the city

Definitely a fan of this neighborhood pub/kitchen. Came here once for a quick drink while walking to another restaurant, and they made one of the best Old Fashions I ever had. Came back formally for Happy Hour and dinner, and again made an amazing Old Fashion, so it's not a fluke. It's also on the HH menu! Service was great and easy since you can book via OpenTable. Quaint outdoor seating area that is first come first serve (no reservations). The food is above average; I definitely recommend their Deviled Eggs (though pricey even on HH). The pasta was also rather interesting but delicious. Service was great as well! Rating: 8.5/10 Pros: Reservations possible, good HH Cons: Bit pricier than I had hoped Recommendations: Definitely try the Old Fashion

Excuse me? This sandwich had no right being this good. Pub and kitchen never misses and this is just more proof

Went here for dinner on a Friday night, the service was great and food was good, but a bit overpriced. The fish and chips could've used more salt and the portion of fish was small for $27. Burger was delicious as was the Italian pulled pork. Also a great martini and drink list!

Pub & Kitchen is a great place to get some food and drinks with friends. The space is small so you are close to people and it is a little loud, but the cocktails and food are good. We got the burger, angry crab dip, Bronzino, mushroom pasta, wings and ramen gnocchi. There were some favorites and some not so favorites. I recommend the angry crab dip and the mushroom pasta as both were very flavorful. The angry crab dip had a perfect balance of sweetness from the crab meat and spicy from the spices. The mushroom pasta was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms really shines through with a little burrata for creaminess. The not so favorites ended up being the ramen gnocchi and Bronzino... the Bronzino tasted burnt as it was burnt. The ramen gnocchi was over cooked and more resembled mashed potatoes. The pairing for it was very off.. would not recommend. The service was attentive and the drinks were great. If you stop by, make sure to get the espresso martini!

The cocktails were great! The Oasis was a unique drink. I enjoyed the fish and chips, and was impressed by the flavor of the coleslaw. Overall, a great place to eat!

Went here on a friend date on a Saturday night. The servers were friendly, and the bar blends into the seating creating a buzzing, cozy energy. We split the double cheeseburger and the chicken Milanese sandwich. Both were incredibly tasty and would be happy to order either again. I always appreciate a concise menu with just enough options.

Chicken sandwich, PK cheese burger, and roasted chicken.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

The first thing I did was head straight for my favorite, Cantillon from Belgium. This visit, I tried their Kriek LG, a fruited lambic made by adding sour cherries to a two-year-old aged lambic. All I can say is... WOW! Tart, complex, refreshing, and dangerously drinkable. If beer could win an Academy Award, this one would be giving an acceptance speech. Now, let's talk food. I ordered the Thai Curry Mussels, and they were absolutely outstanding. The broth was packed with flavor, and the mussels were cooked perfectly. They easily rank in the top five mussel dishes I've ever had, and I've done my research! Pro tip: Don't make the rookie mistake of eating all the bread first. Save some for the end so you can soak up every last drop of that incredible curry broth at the bottom of the bowl. Trust me, you'll thank me later. The service is always excellent. John usually takes care of us in the back, and he consistently makes the experience even better with great recommendations and friendly service. In side is cozy and friendly! If you live in Philly and haven't been here yet, what are you waiting for? Great beer, amazing food, and outstanding service--this place checks every box. A sizable pot of plump mussels in their black shells swimming in their liquor and considerable diced garlic and chopped fresh parsley. Delicious. The meal was accompanied by pommes frites and small slices of baguette for sopping. A chilled pint of Elder finished the monk's testament to excellence. Take a break from the cheesesteak and commit to the Monk. Well worth it.
